Wonderful care home with caring staff. Fabulous activities for residents.

I would highly recommend Upton Bay Care home. The care is excellent and the residents are made to feel part of an extended family. Recently, my mother-in-law celebrated her 90th Birthday, she was made to feel so special and enjoyed a slice of her amazing birthday cake.

The staff have been brilliant. Quickly getting to know Dad and his needs and likes and dislikes. Dad has only been at the home since 3/11/25. The food is excellent. The home is clean and homely. Everyone is very attentive. The manager is excellent and very approachable.

The staff are very kind and friendly. It's a lovely and clean Home. The place is bright and cheerful. My sister said she's very happy here. It was nice to be offered some tasty cake nad tea.

As a new comer to Upton Bay Care Home I have been very impressed by what I have seen so far and certainly my expectations have been met. I am pleased with the choice of care home made for my wife. All staff seem very dedicated and friendly, very suited to their roles and I think my wife is becoming more settled in her new environment which provides her with a lot of flexibility that she needed.

Mum had been in Upton Bay for around three years and i could not have asked for a better place for her to be. the staff are all fabulous and looked after mum brilliantly even in her more difficult moments. Of all the tough decisions we had to make as she suffered with dementia, i am 100% confident that we got this one right. super place with super people.

Wounderful place to visit, very clean realy welcoming alway a drink and a piece of cake waiting. residents all happy clean, Hair and nails looks lovely, I have been to entertament which was wonderful, I would recemended this home to any one. Well done

Out mother spent the final four months of her life at Upton Bay, before finally passing away peacefully at the age of 98. She could not have had better care and love, with all her individual needs attended to. Her family and friends were always welcomed 24/7, and we came to feel part of a homely, loving community, able to fully enjoy her last Christmas and celebrate family birthdays together with staff and other residents at the home. Her final passing was managed with the utmost care and respect, supporting the family in every way possible, relieving much of the stress, and helping create some beautiful memories for us all. Thank you so much!

My father became a resident on the Dementia ward at Upton Bay Care home in March 2024 up until his death in January this year. I have to say that the carehome team were all amazing and you truly know that your loved one could not be in a better place Thank Upton Bay . the manager and his team go out of their way to help you and are always on hand if they are needed . My brother and myself cannot thank them enough for all their support that they have shown us and our father . Just Brilliant 1st class service day in day out.

My family and I cannot express out gratitude to all the staff for their care of my dad while he was staying with you. The food was excellent and dad thoroughly enjoyed his day trips out and the activities he did. He also enjoyed his birthday party with you. The rooms and facilities were outstanding. Absolutely no complaints - THANK YOU!

The staff are proactive and caring. My relative is clean and well-presented whenever I visit. She has dementia and seems very contented. The home is clean and everyone is very friendly.

My grandad hasn't be at the care home for a long time but so far, the care home has been excellent. They have really helped him settle in and adjust. The care home is always clean and well-presented. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They have encouraged Grandad to interact and socialise with the other residents, there's always plenty going on to keep him occupied with a range of activities or day trips.

My aunt is happy here. She is always looking very well cared for. The home is warm and comfortable as well as very stylishly furnished and decorated. All the staff are friendly, helpful and quick to respond. In particular, I appreciate how well-groomed my aunt is - which shows that the care staff take the trouble not only to do basic washing and dressing but also to ensure she is still the glamorous, immaculate lady which she always has been.

Our mother has lived at Barchester Upton Bay Care Home for almost two years. We, as a family, have been impressed by the constant high standards throughout the home and all its departments. Our mother is happy for her continued residency at Upton Bay and we all look forward to another year of good care, food, activities and company.
