Lovely friendly helpful staff especially sarah from admin feel very happy to stay whilst my daughter goes on her holidays
Great food comfy bed tv and ensuite like being in a hotel

A very welcoming and friendly care home. My dad has had several admissions for respite care. He appears settled and the environment is good. He is always clean and appears to be given good support.

Mum has now lived in bishops cleeve care home for a number of years and in this time she been has well looked after with care and respect
The catering staff are exceptional and listen to what mum enjoys on the menu which is well cooked
The entertainment is good and the well being coordinator is
excellent
Mum enjoys the one to one chats and the music

Staff are extremely friendly and look after my mum with great care
Home is extremely bright and airy and kept very clean

The care home has been fantastic for Nan they go above and beyond for her, cooking, fun timetable of things to do.
Nan is always very well cared for and happy when we come to visit her

My mother has really enjoyed baking with the chef, she likes to feel needed and has most definately felt that way.
I do feel that the meals for vegetarians leaves a lot to be desired and could do with a major change, as at the moment vegetarian options are tasteless, and doesn't in any way look
appetising at all.

We are always welcome by the pleasant and cheerful staff when we visit out mum at the home.
Facilities are very good and we are happy with the service we recieve.

Mum's taken her time to settle into life at Bishops Cleeve Care Home, and to be honest, we always knew it would take a little while for things to kick in. However, with the fantastic care and attention paid to the qualdaily life of the residents, mum is suddenly flourishing in the community spirit
that if afforded each and every person who resides here. For example, recently mum had rediscovered her love for baking thanks to the staff's generous approach finding what makes the residents tick. Not only has it allowed mum to fell a part of what's going on but also rekindled her ability to write, which is no small thing considering the mobility limitations she's dealing with due to her Parkinson's issues. Personally, I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. And as time goes on, it continues to amaze me how the staff and residents continue to create a sense of belonging and community in the home.
Thank you so much for all you do for mum!

As a respite care user, I notice the carers were always busy and did their variety of jobs well. The meals were very good and second helpings always available. I found the accommodation comfortable and modern. Unfortunately the entertainment and activities let them down. More could have been held,
giving active stimulation to those who attended.

The care + understanding of all the residents are 100%. All the staff work so hard + it shows in the Home. It's a beautiful home inside & out.

The building and facilities are excellent.
Headquarters office, account department - very poor service! Three months to arrange direct debit is bordering on incompetent!
Care home manager retention has been poor but does appear to be better now.
Access for relatives to the building is poorly
managed - this needs sorting out, standing in a cold entrance until a staff member wanders by is not good! This is with the relative access code.

My grandma has recently moved to the home and I visited her for the first time over the weekend. I was very pleased with how she has settled in and by the overall feel of the place and how nice and clean it was. It seems she is enjoying the activities put on by the staff and said the food is very
good too!

I can't believe the turnaround that the manager and her team have made - they have put Bishop's Cleeve Care Home back up there with the best in Gloucestershire.

Always a smile and a welcome from staff. The home feels like "home", furnishings and colours restful. Really enjoy the singer who comes and entertains us! Residents are well looked after. We are welcome to join in all the events which is great fun and to share altogether. Thank you to the lovely

My mum is very well cared for at Bishop's Cleeve Care Home. The staff are exceptional. They are kind, caring and considerate and nothing is ever too much trouble when meeting the needs of the residents. The home is a very happy home and I am always made to feel very welcome when I visit. My mum
enjoys joining in with the activities which are fun and varied. The facilities are very good and the home is clean and tidy.

I have visited my friend a few times now and have always found the staff very welcoming. The whole atmosphere gives me a sense of confidence that my friend is well looked after.

The staff are very caring, superb meals, the decor is high standard. Whilst there are regular activities for residents, it would be nice there were more for the visually impaired. Sometimes there is quite a wait to be let out of the building - not always enough staff. A bell would be helpful.

My mother-in-law initially came in for respite care but due to her dementia, she has stayed full-time. From the initial discussion to moving in we could not fault the whole team who oversaw the process and welcomed Mum into the home. She settled in very quickly and now calls it home. Her health has
improved with regular food and correct medication.
It is great that she gets lovely human contact which she missed living alone.
