View Full Details of Barchester Cadbury Hall Care HomeMy Mother in law was accepted in to the home within a few days of asking for respite care and then my father in law was moved from a different home to Cadbury Hall so they could be together. The staff, food and cleanliness were all excellent. Everything was no trouble.
I came to Cadbury Hall following a fall for 1 week. I found this so beneficial I stayed for a second week. The staff day and night, were all exceptional; kind, friendly caring cheerful supportive and willing to help. Very quickly addressing residents by name. The hall is 'like new'! Very well furnished and fitted, pictures on walls - all quality. Residents are very well fed. Good menus with good range of choice and food is well presented and enjoyable. The coffee/tea station in reception is a nice facility. The activities programme is very good. Well planned, range of interesting possibilities and alternatives. The hall and the residents are all very well cared for.
Exceed expectation. Welcoming and happy feeling the whole time my sister was with you in Cadbury Hall. No worries everybody very helpful.
This was our first experience of respite care & we were pleased with the care received. Staff were pleasant & willing to help & encourage my aunt. The rooms & overall building were clean & bright. Great care was taken to provide meals that accomodated my aunts' tastes & were nourishing for her.
My 95 year old aunt was at Cadbury Hall for just 2 weeks respite care. She remembers nothing about the experience due to her dementia but she was warmly welcomed by the manager and staff. She was very well looked after had everything she needed. The manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. As well as the excellent carers, many other staff (e.g. housekeeping) would talk to her and help her.
Put my mind at rest for the first time.
A well-run, happy 'home'.
After a fortnight's respite stay in October and due to her increasing need for support, my mum was very happy to permanently move into Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home in late November. The manager and all her team welcomed Mum (almost 101 years old) back with great kindness and Mum has settled in well.
This has been an excellent stay for the last two weeks. Although I have not been able to take advantage of all the activities, due to my mobility, the staff have looked after me well. The food and care have been superb and have had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This has been my first stay and will hope to stay again in the near future. Thanks to you all.
My husband spent two weeks respite care at Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home and enjoyed the experience - a good result as he's not the easiest person to please! He loved all the staff.
I arrived here from hospital in August 2024. I had been very unwell with very low mood for some months. I now feel very well and am much more cheerful. The staff have treated me with the utmost kindness and although I initially was disappointed with the food provided, it has markedly improved of late.
Dad has a lovely room and is very pleased with the levels of care and service. We have both found that nothing is too much trouble and the staff are always polite and eager to help. I join Dad for lunch on Mondays and the food is always excellent.
My mother-in-law and myself were treated with much kindness, dignity and respect. Staff were really great and the attention to detail was fantastic. Landry service was outstanding, food and drinks room excellent, beautiful lounges too. My mother-in-law enjoyed her time spent here and joined in many activities. The memory book of this plus photos was a great touch.
Wonderful place, from staff, rooms, entertainment and food and not forgetting residents.
This is a wonderful care home. All of the staff are happy, friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is simply amazing and all homemade. Excellent home led by an excellent manager. Thank you for looking after Mum.
From making my first enquiry about respite care until the day of discharge back home - my experience of the home was extremely positive. The home is well managed and the manager is often seen around the home and is very friendly and approachable. The care staff (all staff) were all welcoming and friendly. The home is proactive in providing engaging and therapeutic activity. The food was outstanding and served in beautiful restaurants. Housekeeping and laundry was exceptional too! A five-star hotel that provides care with dignity and respect.
Very impressed with every aspect of the care. Every staff member was genuinely caring and patient. I would recommend this home to anyone.
The care my dad has had has been exceptional. The staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel safe and cared for. There is a lovely atmosphere and the facilities make you feel like you are in a hotel rather than a care facility. I trust completely that Dad is in a safe environment.
Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home is consistently caring and respectful of residents. My mother is very happy here. She calls it her home and the staff, her friends. The home has also gone to extra lengths to care for her - accepting her back from hospital when the hospital had lost her mobility and working with a physio to get some mobility back.
Lovely home, staff are fabulous - friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
