Hi, my name is Carmen, and my job role at Cadbury Hall Care Home is that of Acting Deputy Manager. I have been working in the care sector for 5 years.

I started as a care assistant in one of the sister homes in Wales, where I learned what it means to care for people who are vulnerable and to share a sense of empathy. I had the opportunity to grow my skills, expand my knowledge and build my career, being promoted to Senior Carer at Cadbury Hall in February of 2024 through learning opportunities such as different clinical, leadership and management training.

I left in May of 2025 due to personal reasons, but my mind remained on Cadbury Hall, which brought me back in November of 2025, with new experiences and plenty of knowledge, which I am able to share with the team, now in a new position. Having also a very good understanding of regulatory bodies and procedures, I ensure the team is providing excellent and safe care, with the residents’ wishes and needs for a personalised care delivery.

Hello everyone, my name is Ross, and I am proud to serve as the Head Chef at Cadbury Hall, and I manage the catering team.

I have been working as a chef for over 30 yrs, having worked in multiple countries and in various establishments from 4-star hotels to gastro pubs and contract catering.

I joined Barchester in May 2025 as a Peripatetic Chef, supporting homes across the region, finally choosing to settle here as Head Chef at the amazing Cadbury Hall.

I have over 10 years of housekeeping experience with the police before moving into the care sector.

I moved to Cadburyhall because I enjoy the satisfaction and the personal connection to the residents. No, two days are not the same, thanks to the wonderful residents I get to engage with day in and day out.

I hope to maintain high standards and grow my housekeeping team, with a view to keeping the resident at the heart of everything we do.

I started working with Barchester Healthcare in April 2023, where I started as an Administration Assistant at Crandon Springs, Wells. In December 2025, I made the decision to join the team at Cadbury Hall.

I enjoy my job role, as it gives me a chance to get to know the residents and their families, as well as allowing me to be able to progress further within my career pathway. Back in 2024, I decided I wanted to complete my Level 3 Business and Administration qualification, which I completed in July 2025. It's also nice to bring my Daughter in during the School Holidays. She enjoys getting to know the residents and staff as well, and she very often asks to visit everyone.

Whilst away from work, I love to spend time with Family, whilst also enjoying the occasional couple of nights away with Friends. In November, I can be found taking part in the yearly Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnival Circuits. I used to Marshall and be involved with the preparations of Wells City Carnival until 2021, when I decided to step away from the Committee and offered to be ground crew for a friend's Walking Entry. In 2023, I made the decision that I wanted to perform, so I now get involved with dressing up and dancing around the circuits. Read less

I started at Cadbury Hall in 2023 as a Care Assistant, and I was promoted to Senior Care Assistant in 2026. It is a privilege to work here at Cadbury, supporting our residents and working amongst the team.

Before joining Cadbury Hall, I gained extensive experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including domiciliary care and mental health services.

I’m passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred care and believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. Knowing that I can positively impact someone’s day—or night—is the most rewarding part of my role. Hello, everyone, my name is Agnieszka Sitko, and I am a Care Assistant at Cadbury Hall.

I am originally from Poland. I have been living in the United Kingdom for nearly 20 years. My career in care began 10 years ago after I moved from Essex to Bristol. I wanted a job that would allow me to balance my responsibilities with caring for my daughter, who had just started primary school, so a role in home care was ideal. Later, once my daughter had become more independent, I decided to look for work in a care home. For several years, I worked in Clevedon across various sectors—including residential, nursing, and dementia care—and in December 2025, I began a new chapter at Cadbury Hall in Yatton.

I never expected that my job as a Care Assistant would turn into a passion that brings me so much joy and fulfilment. Caring for those in need and witnessing their joy, gratitude, and happiness is my greatest reward. I want to continue on this path for a long time because I love what I do.

Originally from Nottingham and being the child of a Navy man, I have lived all over the UK, spending 11 years in Weymouth, Dorset before moving out of the country. I then spent over two decades living in Savannah, Georgia, USA. I returned to Bristol, UK, on June 1st 2026 to be close to my family again.

I have a background spanning over 20 years in Senior Living in Independent living , Residential care and Memory Care; I am very passionate about what I do. Helping older adults move into care homes is extremely important to me. I have seen too many people become injured or even pass away due to staying in a home they can no longer manage or not accepting care they truly need. I started working as the Home Care Advisor for Barchester Health Care at Cadbury Hall at the beginning of August 2026, and thus far, I LOVE it!

Originally from the Philippines, I began my nursing career there before moving to the UK in 2004. I started my journey in the care sector at Yatton Hall Care Home as a Care Assistant, working my way up until I achieved my nursing PIN in 2005.

This journey has shaped my passion for care and given me a deep appreciation of the dedication and compassion required to make a real difference in people’s lives.

I bring over 22 years of experience in the health and social care sector, supported by a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. Throughout my career, I have held senior leadership positions, including Home Manager of a dementia-specialist care home in Bristol and Clinical Deputy Manager with another care provider. These experiences have strengthened my clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

I see myself as a natural leader and mentor who leads by example with compassion, integrity, and professionalism. I believe that great leadership is about supporting others, recognising their strengths, encouraging development, and creating a culture where every team member feels valued and empowered.

My philosophy of care is simple: every resident deserves to feel at home, to be loved and respected, and to receive the person-centred care they truly deserve.
