Cadbury Hall offers a warm and welcoming environment and a stunning interior designed with residents’ comfort in mind. Cadbury Hall has undergone significant refurbishment which was completed in April 2022.

Cadbury Hall Care Home can be found on the village high street of Yatton, just a short drive from Bristol City. The Care team offers 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. As well as long-term care, the team offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. The team are experienced, dedicated and ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate, person-centred care.

When it comes to well-being, the activities team support residents to continue doing the things they love, whilst providing opportunities to discover new hobbies and passions to keep the fun in every day. From exercise sessions and day trips to religious services and celebrating both national and international events. They also welcome the opportunity to involve the local community.

Residents have a choice of delicious, nutritionally balanced meals three times a day which, along with the home’s snack and night bite menus, which mean residents can have something to eat whenever they fancy. Freshly prepared cakes and biscuits to complement teas and coffees are always available from the café. The team of experienced chefs ensure every meal is made from the freshest ingredients reflecting each individuals likes, dislikes and dietary needs through seasonal menus.

I came to Cadbury Hall following a fall for 1 week. I found this so beneficial I stayed for a second week. The staff day and night, were all exceptional; kind, friendly caring cheerful supportive and willing to help. Very quickly addressing residents by name. The hall is 'like new'! Very well furnished
and fitted, pictures on walls - all quality. Residents are very well fed. Good menus with good range of choice and food is well presented and enjoyable. The coffee/tea station in reception is a nice facility. The activities programme is very good. Well planned, range of interesting possibilities and alternatives. The hall and the residents are all very well cared for.

My 95 year old aunt was at Cadbury Hall for just 2 weeks respite care. She remembers nothing about the experience due to her dementia but she was warmly welcomed by the manager and staff. She was very well looked after had everything she needed.
The manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal
with. As well as the excellent carers, many other staff (e.g. housekeeping) would talk to her and help her.

After a fortnight's respite stay in October and due to her increasing need for support, my mum was very happy to permanently move into Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home in late November. The manager and all her team welcomed Mum (almost 101 years old) back with great kindness and Mum has settled in

I arrived here from hospital in August 2024. I had been very unwell with very low mood for some months. I now feel very well and am much more cheerful. The staff have treated me with the utmost kindness and although I initially was disappointed with the food provided, it has markedly improved of late.

My mother-in-law and myself were treated with much kindness, dignity and respect. Staff were really great and the attention to detail was fantastic. Landry service was outstanding, food and drinks room excellent, beautiful lounges too. My mother-in-law enjoyed her time spent here and joined in many

From making my first enquiry about respite care until the day of discharge back home - my experience of the home was extremely positive. The home is well managed and the manager is often seen around the home and is very friendly and approachable. The care staff (all staff) were all welcoming and friendly.
The home is proactive in providing engaging and therapeutic activity. The food was outstanding and served in beautiful restaurants.
Housekeeping and laundry was exceptional too!
A five-star hotel that provides care with dignity and respect.

The care my dad has had has been exceptional. The staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel safe and cared for. There is a lovely atmosphere and the facilities make you feel like you are in a hotel rather than a care facility. I trust completely that Dad is in a safe environment.

Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home is consistently caring and respectful of residents. My mother is very happy here. She calls it her home and the staff, her friends.
The home has also gone to extra lengths to care for her - accepting her back from hospital when the hospital had lost her mobility and
working with a physio to get some mobility back.

I stayed for twelve days recuperating from a hip replacement and enjoyed my stay as everyone was very welcoming and helpful.
Meals could have been improved as two days we were served cold soup which had to be sent back three times. I don't understand why the chefs choose so many foreign dishes as
people of our generation just want good, old-fashioned English food and not too spicy. The best meal was coronation chicken but some of the foreign dishes were inedible and had to be sent back.
One member of staff is excellent at washing your hair giving you a good massage, making you feel great. Another member of staff was also very good. Thank them for me.
The only disappointing thing was your misleading information concerning how good you are supposed to be. On my visit to see the home, I was taken to the upstairs dining room where I was most impressed by the wonderful menu. I invited a friend to come and share a meal only to be told that this menu is only to impress visitors and not served. Why be so dishonest and misleading?

Hi. My name is Audrene, and I am the General Manager here at Cadbury Hall.


My experience of working in healthcare and with the elderly, began when I was 16 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home. I grew up watching my mother be a nurse to many - healing, treating and supporting her patients with their health and well-being, and it is from here that my passion grew from childhood for the nursing profession.


I am a Registered Nurse and I have worked in various roles including District Nursing, Deputy Manager, Regional Clinical Development Nurse and now I’m delighted to have been promoted to be the General Manager of Cadbury Hall. I have various qualifications, however the one I’ve recently completed is Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. This qualification has helped me to further understand myself as a leader and manager.


I have a caring and compassionate nature for elderly care, and I aim to maintain and promote good health and well-being for all Cadbury Hall residents. I look forward to bringing all the experiences and knowledge that I have gained over the years to support the residents in our care; with the main aim of providing a positive life experience. It is a passion of mine to serve this age group and I look forward to managing and leading the brilliant team at Cadbury Hall.

Hi, my name is Josely and I am a senior carer at Cadbury Hall. I joined Cadbury Hall in January 2023. I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and I started my career as a pharmacy purchase manager in 2019. After that, I decided to start my career as a full-time caregiver and moved to Israel after doing a caregiver course and that was a life-changing experience for me. I was a caregiver to many elderly people and I loved taking care of them. I got an opportunity to do another government-affiliated caregivers course from Israel.


Here at Cadbury Hall, I work as a senior carer and I enjoy working with my colleagues. I love looking after our lovely residents and I always do my best to provide the best possible care to them.


We are a lovely team here at Cadbury Hall and altogether we work hard to support our residents and create a happy environment for them.

I am Molly, a mobile Foot Health Practitioner working in the North Somerset area. I enjoy visiting Barchester's Cadbury Hall residence, as I am able to improve their quality of life by addressing their foot concerns, this promotes their mobility and regular visits allow the residents to continue to live comfortably and with dignity".


Molly will be with us on the 10th and 11th of October, the 19th and 20th of November, the 7th and 8th of January, and the 18th and 19th of February.

My name is Suzanne, and I started working at Cadbury Hall on March 25 as a Community Lead.
I started in care with the view that I would 'give it a go' for a month; however, by the end of the first week, I had met an ex-Bletchley Park Codebreaker, had a generous toe fall off in my hand, and had the privilege of being the last face a person saw as they took their last breath. I was hooked! That was approximately 30 years ago, and I still get thrilled and challenged every day that I come to work.


In my spare time, I spend time with my 2 amazing grandsons and my daughter, whom I see almost every day. As I head towards retirement, I hope that I can inspire other carers within Barchester to care and feel the way I have felt over the last three decades!
