Wonderful place, from staff, rooms, entertainment and food and not forgetting residents.
Excellent home led by an excellent manager. Thank you for looking after Mum.
Housekeeping and laundry was exceptional too!
A five-star hotel that provides care with dignity and respect.
Very impressed with every aspect of the care. Every staff member was genuinely caring and patient. I would recommend this home to anyone.
The care my dad has had has been exceptional. The staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel safe and cared for. There is a lovely atmosphere and the facilities make you feel like you are in a hotel rather than a care facility. I trust completely that Dad is in a safe environment.
Thank you. It's an absolute pleasure to have your dad stay with us at Cadbury Hall.
Lovely home, staff are fabulous - friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
Thank you. It's been a delight having your grandmother stay with us at Cadbury Hall.
The home has also gone to extra lengths to care for her - accepting her back from hospital when the hospital had lost her mobility and working with a physio to get some mobility back.
Thank you. It's an absolute pleasure to have your mum with us at Cadbury Hall.
Meals could have been improved as two days we were served cold soup which had to be sent back three times. I don't understand why the chefs choose so many foreign dishes as people of our generation just want good, old-fashioned English food and not too spicy. The best meal was coronation chicken but some of the foreign dishes were inedible and had to be sent back.
One member of staff is excellent at washing your hair giving you a good massage, making you feel great. Another member of staff was also very good. Thank them for me.
The only disappointing thing was your misleading information concerning how good you are supposed to be. On my visit to see the home, I was taken to the upstairs dining room where I was most impressed by the wonderful menu. I invited a friend to come and share a meal only to be told that this menu is only to impress visitors and not served. Why be so dishonest and misleading?
Thank you for your review following your stay with us. We appreciate your feedback on our food offering and are sorry this was your experience, we understand our chef looked into this for you. It is lovely to hear how the team were supportive of your needs and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future for further respite. Kind regards, Barchester's Customer Feedback Team
Thank you so very much for your care, kindness and friendship to us both during my husband's respite care. The whole team, no matter their speciality, were all outstanding. I will have no hesitation in using Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home again or in recommending to others.
Very friendly staff who genuinely care. Make me feel very special.
Thank you. It was an absolute pleasure to have you stay with us.
Staff are kind and go the extra mile, they are approachable and listen to any concerns and find a suitable answer. You know they care and enjoy their work.
Crockery/cutlery not collected at the end of many meals. It was left to be collected at the next mealtime, which might mean the next day's breakfast.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review, and for your kind words relating to the staff at our Cadbury Hall Home. On speaking with the home, we understand you have been back to stay with us recently, and we hope you enjoyed your stay with us again. If you have any further comments you'd like...
My father stayed at Cadbury Hall for a short time to allow my mother, my father's carer to recover from illness. Everyone was very welcoming, the facilities were luxurious and we were very happy Dad would be comfortable and well looked after. We thank Cadbury Hall for making a very difficult time so much easier.
The resident originally came to stay for respite, he is now staying permanently. Initially, he would go downstairs to spend the day with the other residents and have his meals downstairs. As time went on, he refused to get out of bed and became aggressive with the staff. They coped with his difficult behaviour very well (due to his dementia). They arranged for him to have an air mattress as he spends a lot of time in bed. The staff have persevered and gained his trust. He can now be persuaded to get up and sit in the chair. He enjoys the food which is excellent. They have agreed to his recliner chair being brought from home. They do all they can to make him comfortable.
Dad was in Cadbury Hall Care Home for a respite visit. What a lovely place and surroundings for Dad to stay in.
Thank you so much for your review. We loved having your dad stay with us and we look forward to him coming back to us soon.
Recently, my husband had a respite stay at the home. He had a decline in his mobility and cognitive abilities just before the stay. The manager of the home was excellent in assessing his needs and the staff, in the face of considerable challenges, demonstrated a willingness and proficiency which made a huge difference to his care. He is now a permanent resident and his needs are being very well met and I have the peace of mind that he is being very well looked after. At all times, I have been met with courtesy, understanding, kindness and professionalism within the entire staff.
It was daunting leaving my mother for her first stay in a care home. However, despite it being a wet and cold Friday evening, she was welcomed by kind, caring and smiling staff who have now become familiar and remain as dedicated as that first night. During her stay, Mum has blossomed. She not only looks better but seems stronger and happier too. The food is excellent, the rooms are kept very clean and she is treated with dignity by the caring and very capable team.
Thank you for your lovely comments and I am glad that your mum is enjoying her stay at Cadbury Hall.
Would and indeed have recommended it to friends.
Thank you very much for your review, and glad that you have felt relaxed and safe.
I have been a registered nurse for children and adults for more than 50 years. I have visited many homes in my capacity as a community nurse and also as a befriender. So with that experience, I can say that I was so very impressed with my visit today. The staff were welcoming, happy and smiling. I enjoyed the interaction between residents and staff, clearly very positive and obviously caring. I would recommend this home and wish we had more like this.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments, about our beautiful home and we are glad you enjoyed your visit, and we look forward to you visiting us again.
My husband and I didn't take part in any activities, so difficult to comment.
Certain meals could improve, the cooked breakfast delicious!
Would recommend this lovely care home to anyone in need of a break!
Thank you very much for your comments, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Hi. My name is Audrene, and I am the General Manager here at Cadbury Hall.
My experience of working in healthcare and with the elderly began when I was 16 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home. I grew up watching my mother be a nurse to many - healing, treating and supporting her patients with their health and well-being, and it is from here that my passion grew from childhood for the nursing profession.
I am a Registered Nurse, and I have worked in various roles including District Nursing, Deputy Manager, Regional Clinical Development Nurse and now I’m delighted to have been promoted to the General Manager of Cadbury Hall. I have various qualifications; however, the one I’ve recently completed is the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. This qualification has helped me to further understand myself as a leader and manager.
I have a caring and compassionate nature for elderly care, and I aim to maintain and promote good health and well-being for all Cadbury Hall residents. I look forward to bringing all the experiences and knowledge that I have gained over the years to support the residents in our care, with the main aim of providing a positive life experience. It is a passion of mine to serve this age group, and I look forward to managing and leading the brilliant team at Cadbury Hall.
Please feel free to pop in and have a chat; my door is always open. Hope to see you soon.

Hi, my name is Carmen, and my job role at Cadbury Hall Care Home is that of Acting Deputy Manager. I have been working in the care sector for 5 years.
I started as a care assistant in one of the sister homes in Wales, where I learned what it means to care for people who are vulnerable and to share a sense of empathy. I had the opportunity to grow my skills, expand my knowledge and build my career, being promoted to Senior Carer at Cadbury Hall in February of 2024, through learning opportunities such as different clinical, leadership and management training.
I left in May of 2025 due to personal reasons, but my mind remained thinking about Cadbury Hall, which brought me back in November of 2025, with new experiences and plenty of knowledge, which I am able to share with the team, now in a new position. Having also a very good understanding of regulatory bodies and procedures, I ensure the team is providing excellent and safe care, with the residents’ wishes and needs for a personalised care delivery.
I take pride and joy in my job, and I want to show you what a day of work includes as a Team Leader of a very caring and compassionate team. Do not hesitate to come in and chat with me if you have any questions. I will do my best to find the answer that you are looking for!

Hello everyone, my name is Ross, and I am proud to serve as the Head Chef at Cadbury Hall, and I manage the catering team.
I have been working as a chef for over 30 yrs, having worked in multiple countries and in various establishments from 4-star hotels to gastro pubs and contract catering.
I joined Barchester in May 2025 as a Peripatetic Chef, supporting homes across the region, finally choosing to settle here as Head Chef at the amazing Cadbury Hall.
I look forward to catering to your nutritional needs by cooking favourite dishes and introducing you to new tastes.

I began my career with Barchester Healthcare at one of our Sister Homes called Crandon Springs in February 2025 as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant following early retirement. In August 2025, I transferred to Cadbury Hall, where I became Head of Maintenance.
My Experience1 year as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant at a Private Residential Care Home
I have over 20 years' experience in the building arena.
Ex-Royal Navy, where I completed 7 and a half years' service.
What I like about my role is creating a safe and usable environment for the residents and staff. Keeping the home looking fresh and inviting with a homely feel.
Outside of work, I like to travel, home or abroad, with my wife and dog and spend time with our extended family and friends.

Hi, I'm Tracy, Head Housekeeper at Cadbury Hall.
I have over 10 years of housekeeping experience with the police before moving into the care sector.
I moved to Cadburyhall because I enjoy the satisfaction and the personal connection to the residents. No, two days are not the same, thanks to the wonderful residents I get to engage with day in and day out.
I hope to maintain high standards and grow my housekeeping team, with a view to keeping the resident at the heart of everything we do.
In my spare time, I love to get away in my caravan with my two beautiful dogs called, Bailey and Sky.

I Joined Cadbury Hall in October 2025
I live in Clevedon, I have two grown-up sons and a dog. I have travelled extensively and spent 6 years in Germany, working as a Technical Illustrator for Deutsche Airbus
Previously worked in domiciliary care and dementia care before moving to Activities

I started working with Barchester Healthcare in April 2023, where I started as an Administration Assistant at Crandon Springs, Wells. In December 2025, I made the decision to join the team at Cadbury Hall.
I enjoy my job role, as it gives me a chance to get to know the residents and their families, as well as allowing me to be able to progress further within my career pathway. Back in 2024, I decided I wanted to complete my Level 3 Business and Administration qualification, which I completed in July 2025. It's also nice to bring my Daughter in during the School Holidays. She enjoys getting to know the residents and staff as well, and she very often asks to visit everyone.
Whilst away from work, I love to spend time with Family, whilst also enjoying the occasional couple of nights away with Friends. In November, I can be found taking part in the yearly Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnival Circuits. I used to Marshall and be involved with the preparations of Wells City Carnival until 2021, when I decided to step away from the Committee and offered to be ground crew for a friend's Walking Entry. In 2023, I made the decision that I wanted to perform, so I now get involved with dressing up and dancing around the circuits.

Hello, everyone, my name is Agnieszka Sitko, and I am a Care Assistant at Cadbury Hall.
I am originally from Poland. I have been living in the United Kingdom for nearly 20 years. My career in care began 10 years ago after I moved from Essex to Bristol. I wanted a job that would allow me to balance my responsibilities with caring for my daughter, who had just started primary school, so a role in home care was ideal. Later, once my daughter had become more independent, I decided to look for work in a care home. For several years, I worked in Clevedon across various sectors—including residential, nursing, and dementia care—and in December 2025, I began a new chapter at Cadbury Hall in Yatton.
I never expected that my job as a Care Assistant would turn into a passion that brings me so much joy and fulfilment. Caring for those in need and witnessing their joy, gratitude, and happiness is my greatest reward. I want to continue on this path for a long time because I love what I do.
I look forward to welcoming new residents and families to our home.
