View Full Details of Chesford Grange Care HomeI find my experience in this home very satisfactory. The staff are excellent. Very helpful both to my husband and my family. He has settled in really well and looks forward to our visits.
my mum moved into chesford grange in sept 2025 all i can say is that the staff from the manger/deputy are absolutley fantastic nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff. They certainly put my mind at ease. The manager and deputy are very approachable with an open door policy which is fab.the care staff are brilliant looking after the residents with nothing but respect and dignity and are very chatty with visitors which i find great nothing is to much trouble for them. I really should not of worried moving my mum into chesford grange as she seems so content and is flourishing which is lovely to see.The home is spotless which is down to all including domestics and care staff.Mums bedroom is spacious and also spotless.Laundry staff also go above and beyond and the Hairdresser also does a great job with mum's hair.I can not find any fault with the home so glad i didn't take on board the cqc report and went with my own feelings when i went to look around its the best
Mum has been a resident at Chesford since Oct 24 and has really settled here. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was only meant to be temporary at first but she likes it that much she has decided to stay. Thanks everyone I have peace of mind knowing she is well looked after
My mother is a resident and I visit at least twice a week.. since the new manager has come in the care and attention is brilliant. The staff are a lot more productive and my mum couldn't be in a better place.
My mum moved into Chesford grange in 2023 she is so settled and has a strong bond with a lot of the staff she is happy and content which brings myself and family peace of mind knowing that she is cared for at Chesford grange.
i have found the home very good they do a lot of activities with the residents can not fault what they do
Chesford Grange is a beautiful care home and my mother settled well as soon as she arrived there. It is extremely clean and the food is of a very high standard. Staff are always very pleasant and care for my mother very well. Lots of events are organised and special days are celebrated thoughtfully by the activities co-ordinator. We are always warmly greeted by the receptionist when we visit.
I live at Chesford Grange and I am very happy here. The staff are excellent I couldn't wish for anything better the love and respect I get from the staff from top to bottom is just wonderful. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for them. I just cant speak highly enough of them.
The staff at Chesford Grange are amazing, from when you walk through the doors the friendly reception ladies make you feel welcome and at home. Our Dad has been a resident here for just a year now and we can not complain about anything, his care is second to none, he is loved by the staff as if he were their own, his room is spacious, warm and spotlessly clean and his care needs are met to a very good standard on a daily basis. The activities and entertainment are brilliant and one staff member in particular makes sure everyone takes part and has a great time. We couldn't ask for better for our Dad, and for the way all the staff look after us too, keep up the good work you're all amazing Thank you
Beautifully kept, very clean, lovely and bright, staff very very pleasant and welcoming, caring and helpful.
My brother has been at Chesford Grange since May 2024.The moment you step in you are greeted by a receptionist who are pleasant & very helpful.I can honestly say he as really settled in. I visit 3 times a wk even have lunch with him,& I see exactly what goes on, I can't thank the Nurses/ Carers & everyone else who works there enough. They are absolutely brilliant with him, he may not remember their names but he does their faces. There isn't one person that doesn't treat him with dignity & respect & speak to him whenever they see him,& he enjoys having a laugh with them. The atmosphere is so much more happy & inviting. I'd like to say I've even made some new friends. It's a beautiful home & it's very welcoming So thank you to all.
Dad arrived at Chesford Grange at the end of 2023. I can't thank the carers/nurses enough for all they do. Nobody wants their loved one to have to go into care but I feel so relieved dad is being well looked after. They go above and beyond what is required so that residents feel more at home. There is such a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. Thank you to all.
Worst care home ever. Staff tell lies to cover stuff up, had CQC involved multiple times. Rooms are not clean with coffee stains left for weeks. My mum left dirty on numerous occasions very little interaction from care assistants. Management don't want to listen either, never taking onus for their poor lack of care and lack of ability to be honest and upfront. Avoid at all costs, we don't have a choice to move mum now with her dementia but you have a choice where your relatives are treated with compassion and care, this is not the place.
Visited my brother today, the receptionist was very helpful and kind, met a few other staff and all were very pleasant. I found the home to be a happy environment for my brother. He seems very settled in there.
My dad was placed at Chesford Grange Care Home for palliative care. The staff have been responsive to him throughout and he is very fond of certain staff that he has built good relationships with. The home is well presented, although my Dad chooses to spend his time in his bedroom. The clinical team have been excellent ensuring that his physical condition has been managed well.
Dad has been in Chesford Grange Care Home since 15th August 2022 and I am so happy with Dad’s care. It feels as good as family caring for him, I can relax knowing he’s in good hands from all who work there, manager nurses/ carers/reception. I love the events put on for residents and relatives that are quite regular. The meals look delicious whenever I’ve seen them. I always recommend Chesford to those who ask I wouldn’t want Dad to go anywhere else.
Tea party - fantastic atmosphere and food. Got talking to other residents and family members. Can't fault anything. Our friend is being very well looked after. Thank you very much.
Family afternoon tea together. What a lovely afternoon; well organised, food was amazing, everyone seemed jolly and very happy, lovely way to get families together and lovely for the residents. The carers went above and beyond to make sure everyone had drinks and extra food.
