My mother-in-law came to Beulah Vista at the age of 99. It feels only right to leave a review now, as she sadly passed away in December 2025 at the remarkable age of 102. Her stay was self-funded until her savings ran out roughly a year before she passed. As a privately run care home, Beulah Vista
would have been well within their rights to arrange for her to be moved to a council-funded home. They never once took that route. Instead, they spent a great deal of time helping us navigate the complicated process of applying for financial support so she could remain where she was comfortable and cared for. We cannot express our gratitude enough, not only for that help, but for the way every member of staff cared for her throughout her time there. She was treated with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect, as though she were part of their own family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you, Beulah Vista, for everything you did.

My Mother stayed at Beulah Vista from Jan 2024 until her death a year ago. I often drive past and it should not cause me to smile as during her stay I witnessed the effects of illness on a frighteningly intelligent and independent woman, through to the night she slowly slipped away listening to
Beethoven. However, I always do! I have the priceless comfort of knowing we selected the best possible home for her. It may be well designed with great entertainment and food, but it was the team who make it special. It was crucial that we knew there was a team there to protect her and try and make her happy. I visited regularly and started to feel like part of a family (as did Loki dog). Importantly the team did not change much as the home retains its valuable people. Managers were always willing to discuss her care, but everyone made so much effort. A small moment that sticks in my mind was the maintenance man taking the time to say, "hello Margaret" and smile as he walked past. Thank you all!

My mum has mixed dementia and needed full-time care after her husband and carer died suddenly over two years ago. We were very fortunate to find Beulah Vista, initially on a trial basis, as Mum was reluctant to move into care. From the start, she has been looked after by attentive, kind, and
genuinely caring staff, even when her dementia symptoms have been challenging.
Mum's care was meant to be funded by the sale of her home, but delays caused significant financial stress. When her funds reached the council threshold, Beulah Vista worked closely with us and the Council to secure funding so her care could continue, for which we are extremely grateful.
The care, dignity, and compassion Mum receives are exceptional. Communication is excellent, which is vital as I live some distance away. Knowing she is safe, comfortable, and treated with kindness gives us great peace of mind. We would wholeheartedly recommend Beulah Vista.

I would wish these surroundings and kind staff for myself f I ever find myself in my sister's situation. There is always some quality entertainment going on when I visit and we regularly receive some lovely updates and messages showing my sister enjoying time with the other residents. The staff are
attentive and kind and the accommodation is both attractive and super comfortable. There are some lovely spaces where my sister can be with others or ,if she chooses, can be quiet and relax on her own for a while.

Beulah Vista Care Home is truly outstanding. My friend, for whom I hold Power of Attorney, was one of the first residents at Beulah Vista. As her needs changed, she would ordinarily have been moved to a different floor, but the staff went out of their way to keep her in the room she knew and felt
comfortable in, ensuring she was not unsettled in any way.
The individual care given to each resident is great, and it is amazing how every member of staff genuinely understands each person's needs, personalities, and even their funny little habits. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team, they consistently go above and beyond. The nurses are incredibly caring, professional, and attentive, always providing reassurance and support.
Communication is excellent. I have been visiting for several years now, and everyone has made my time there very easy. I would highly recommend.

Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2020 and after caring for her at home for 5 years she moved in to Beulah Vista in April 2025, we have been consistently really happy, mum settled in really well and the staff have been amazing in understanding her very particular needs and embracing her
gregarious personality.
A friend mum met previously at the dementia choir had moved in few months before her so it was an ideal situation where she had a friend down the corridor she already knew. Our mum is very active and loves taking part in all of the art and singing activities and especially loves the outings in the mini bus. Because she is so active we decided to take out an annuity which covers her care for the rest of her life and gives us peace of mind knowing she will be settled with no unexpected upheavals. It's always a pleasure visiting her and her grandkids happily join me and we all enjoy visits to the cinema with mum.

I originally met Gemma, the Home Manager a few years ago and after visiting numerous care homes, I immediately felt reassured that Beulah Vista would be the right place for mum. It is beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens and she has a delightful room. Placing her in a care home was an
incredibly difficult decision however the staff and management have been outstanding, not only in the care they provide, but in the kindness, reassurance and support they have shown to both dad and I and with us living close by we are able to visit mum almost every day. In September, my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Beulah Vista, it was a wonderful day, everyone at the home made us feel welcome which meant the world to us. The team have helped arrange the right level of care, medical support, and dietary needs, and we receive regular updates which give us great peace of mind. The staff truly feel like family and I cannot thank them enough for everything they do.

My mother has been at Beulah vista care home for over 3 years and has loved it. The loving staff and continuous stimulation has really helped her grow in her confidence and she is so content. My mum being a of Pakistani heritage feels the home has understood her needs such as her dietary needs and
celebrating Eid - allowing her friends and relatives to to come and celebrate.
We have also been very grateful that when there have been financial changes with my mums Financial situation they have been very supportive and accommodating. I can't imagine my mother being any place else.

My mum has been living with dementia at Beulah Vista for a year. The staff support her to have choice and control over what she chooses to do and positively support her to engage in gardening activities which she has always loved - both in the garden and at the allotment. The care home are always
welcoming when we visit, including to our dog!

My Mum has been living at Beulah Vista for a year. It was a difficult decision to move her as she's young (70s) very sociable and independent. But growing concerns about her safety pushed us to make the move.
Beulah vista has been such a blessing to us both. She is genuinely happy to be there, she
eats well, goes on regular trips on the minibus, loves the entertainment, I've walked in to find her in the middle of a room belting out a tune alongside a piano player having an absolute ball!
For me- as her daughter, not only is it a huge relief knowing that my mum is happy, safe and well looked after, I now look forward to seeing her more, knowing we can sit and relax with a cuppa rather than rushing around worrying about cleaning, food etc. The staff feel like friends, I can voicenote them anytime of day about anything and always hear back. My young sons can't wait to visit their Nana and play with the toys in the family room, it really is a home from home. Thank you for everything.

My Dad moved into Beulah Vista in January 2025, and although a very hard decision, the genuine warmth from the team has been remarkable. The staff create a calm, safe environment, and I see every day how patient and attentive they are with him. They notice small things, understand his needs, and
treat him with dignity and kindness. The consistency of the team has made a huge difference; he's had the same familiar faces throughout the year, and that continuity and stability have been so important for his wellbeing. The varied activities and outings are fantastic, and he's joined in with things I never expected - bowling, singing and community trips. He is truly thriving, and it's lovely to see him laughing and enjoying life.
I'm also grateful for the support extended to me. When I've been worried or overwhelmed, they always notice and offer compassion and kindness. Communication and leadership is clear and thoughtful, and it feels like a real partnership, with my Dad's needs at the centre.

Beulah Vista has been life changing for my mum and in turn for all the family. We viewed many Carehomes in south east London and this one trumped them all.
My mum has very complex needs and is also wheelchair bound.
The care she has received at Beulah Vista far out reaches the awful situation she
was in when living in her previous home-her own home.
She is now safe, has continuous care, a good varied diet, treats, entertainment and activities of all kinds. The communal spaces allowed for all to be involved and part of the community. To be involved as much or as little as they want to be.
It's a warm and welcoming home, generous size rooms & well decorated.
Staff listen and act with kindness and consideration.
On the basis of all the above we also recently moved my mum's cousin (my 2nd cousin) from Surrey so they can be together. Reuniting them after 18 months apart due to their combined complex needs, was a very moving and emotional day. They are so happy to be together again.

My mother spent 5 weeks in respite at Beulah Vista, whilst my dad had a break. My mum has Parkinson's, so has unpredictable walking issues, and can be highly confused. I chose this care home as I know Gemma to be an excellent care home manager and someone I absolutely trust to take care of my mum.
Even though the location was a bit far from us I wanted my mum to experience very good care so if we had to move her permanently somewhere she would know what standards to accept. My mum sang, painted, exercised and joined in with activities she never gets to do at home. It was great to see her having an active social life too. She enjoyed being looked after. My brother also visited my mum at the care home and was very happy with how she was getting on. I would thoroughly recommend Beulah Vista based on my mum's experience there.
10 November 2025
My dad has been a resident for over 2 years. The staff have allowed him independence and a great quality of life, he is allowed to go out for walks or to the shops with another resident using an tracking device (for safety) this really has given him his freedom and he enjoys life.
My dad also
really enjoys trips on the minibus to all sorts of activities, bowling, museums, allotment, lunches to name a few. Beulah Vista are amazing and care very much for the residents. This gives my sister and I huge confidence knowing he is happy.

My sister and brother-in-law were both very much in need of rehabilitation and care after both having serious operations. They spent several weeks at Beulah Vista, which feels more like a luxury hotel than a traditional care home, and was exactly the respite and rehabilitation that they needed. The
very professional care, attention and support that they received from the wonderful team of staff was absolutely second to none. We are eternally grateful to all at Beulah Vista, and can very highly recommend the services and professional care that they provide.
20 June 2025
My friend, who I am Next of kin, has been residing in Beulah Vista Care Home for the past three years. She was ill and needed lots of care and attention. She receives the wonderful care from Beulah Vista. It's first class and second to none. This would not be possible for all the magnificent people
working at this great care home, and maintaining its very high standard.
The staff, both operational and management team, are an amazing group of people delivering excellent care to their residents. very hard working, kind, honest, open, helpful, and always treating the residents and visitors with compassion, respect, listening to their concerns, worries and feelings.Taking a holistic approach to the care of the residents and creating a happy and healthy environment for the residents to live in and flourish.

My mum has been a resident for a over a year and I'm extremely happy with the support and care provided for my mum from the Willow team. They are always kind and loving when dealing with my mum. I want to give a special mention to three members of staff, in particular.
Finally, I want to give a big
thanks to the home manager for taking the time and being so accommodating with us when we were initially trying to get Mum into your amazing care home.

I am so pleased with the care that my mother is receiving at Beulah Vista. The staff are very professional, warm and kind. The staff have a good understanding of dementia and how to support service users with dementia. Mum is always well cared for, the home is in fantastic condition, there are daily
activities and the meals smell delicious. I would highly recommend this place!
28 January 2025
We looked at several care homes for Mum and in addition, I have seen three others where a friend has been a resident. Without doubt, Beulah Vista Care Home is the best I have seen and we feel confident that Mum is receiving excellent care there. Beulah Vista feels like a hotel rather than a care
home and the staff are very motivated to provide high quality care. Mum always said she never wanted to go into a care home and when the time came it was very difficult because although we knew it was in her best interests, it was hard to go against her wishes. But we needn't have worried because within two weeks, she had settled and Beulah Vista had become her new home. I believe the speed of the transformation is testament to the high quality of the care she has received. If only all care homes could be like this.
27 January 2025
My friend was admitted on a temporary basis, as her husband was ill. She had dementia and significant complicated medical conditions. She settled in very well from the start.
The staff were kind, thoughtful and attentive and I was very impressed with the trained nursing staff who knew her and
adjusted times of her meals and medication if her sleep pattern was disturbed.
As a frequent visitor, I will never forget the patience and kindness exhibited by the carers and support staff if a resident was being tiresome and difficult.
My friend's husband died most unexpectedly, the staff, from top management down, were full of empathy and kindness.
The food is absolutely excellent and a generous variety at all mealtimes. There are many activities, I attended some with her.
She died a few days ago. She recieved very good end-of-life care which was very important to me, as I am a nurse and was a palliative care nurse latterly. I would recommend this care home to everybody.
