My Mother was transferred to Dearbourne Manor to be close to us following a severe stroke from which she spent 5 weeks in hospital. The care and support that was shown in her final days was absolutely outstanding, the facility was spotlessly clean at all times and the staff were truly wonderful. In
what was a very difficult time they were there to support us as a family. The staff worked as a team throughout and the standards of nursing care was exceptional. Thank you so much, it will never be forgotten

My mum has been at Dearbourne since January 2026. She has settled in very well.
The staff have been absolutely wonderful. Carers, nurses, cleaners, receptionists, maintenance staff, hairdresser, clinical lead and manager are all excellent. As well as being competent, they have all been so caring
and have supported mum so well. We are very grateful to all of them!
Food is great. There are generally a couple of menu choices for each meal, as well as the possibility of ordering from a set menu, if neither option appeals.
The building is very new, well maintained, and kept very clean. The lounges on each floor are lovely. Bedrooms are large and well furnished - the only problem is that mum's room can get hot, so we are looking at ways to manage that. There's a large smart tv. Plenty of free parking. Nice gardens. And a cinema room!
Mum hasn't joined any activities, as she gets a lot of visitors. But from what I've seen, there's plenty going on.
Overall, Dearbourne is a great home!

Most importantly, despite things to be mentioned, Dearbourne Manor has been exceptionally good for my mother; she would not want to leave or be anywhere else. As I am not resident here, my views are based entirely on visits and feedback from Violetta. Basically only one negative I constantly receive
is about the food. Not really about the quantity or quality but rather the lack of nice vegetables and sauce and the repetition of some types (e.g. coleslaw with everything). Some disappointed with external days out (great visits but lack of). However she adores the manager and all of the staff. Has no issues.

Mum moved to Dearbourne Manor in February 2024 following a long hospital stay after a massive stroke. From the day mum moved in she was treated with loving care from both medical and care teams. Her face would light up and smile when she saw them come into her room The management staff and reception
team cared about us as a family as well. Mum's last 8 months of her life were genuinely the best they could have been under the circumstances and we could not thank Dearbourne enough for that. Truly a first-class facility.

Dearbourne Manor took so much care of my beautiful mum in the last months of her life. It's a wonderful care home. The staff were all kind, loving and extremely attentive. Sadly mum had dementia and sometimes she could be quite 'hard work' for the carers but each and every one of them was simply
kind and caring towards her. I highly recommend Dearbourne Manor as a wonderful care facility. Simply amazing!

I've worked in many care homes as a mobile hairdresser so when we started looking for Mum to go into one I was delighted to find Dearbourne Manor. Its staff are friendly and helpful. The home is really clean and never smelly, which has been a problem when I've gone into other homes. My one concern
is the food, I can only speak on behalf of Mum but she really doesn't enjoy it. When I've been there and the food arrives she's not happy, it's not hot enough and there seems lots of spicy food which is definitely not for Mum. On a positive, she loves the homemade soups.

I have nothing but a huge appreciation for them all for how they care for my parents. We, as a family, could not wish for them
to be in a better place. So grateful. We are all so pleased to know they are safe and looked after and also such wonderful surroundings. Thank you all.
