All the staff are kind,caring and make my husband happy which makes me happy as well.They are friendly as well ,the carers are well trained and seems a happy place to work.The home is very clean and the manager is always helpful and kind.

My father has had a wonderful start to his stay at The Poets. The care has been excellent. The staff are very caring, friendly and everything you would wish for a loved one. The atmosphere in the home is calm and peaceful. The cleanliness is amazing. My father says the food is wonderful. It looks
amazing. I am so happy to have found this amazing place and feel confident that my fathers needs are being fully met in a wonderful environment.

My review is nothing bad to say about this home staff and seniors are all nice. Most of the staffs are very hard working but one or two lay-back. I have notice, which is normal in every care homes. I also want to say thank you to everyone supporting Len staffs nurses and management. Also want to say

Staff very attentive to both residents and visitors. They have made the transition here for mum really easy with their kindness and attentiveness.
With regards to health issues they keep us fully informed of any concerns and the website is very useful.
Food looks amazing and mum is eating better
than she has in months.

My mother moved to The Poets when she was no longer able to look after herself in her own home. The care that she was given by the kind and thoughtful staff was excellent . The domestic facilities such as laundry was very efficient, the meals and snacks were tasty and well-presented. When my
mother needed end of life care, her care plan was adapted seamlessly and she received the very best care and support in surroundings with which she had become familiar and where our family were able to stay with while the nursing staff continued with their care, of my mother. I felt like the The Poets was my home too!

The very welcoming building is matched by the very warm welcome given by the reception staff. Our son has now stayed at The Poets three times and on each occasion we were made to feel welcome and nothing seemed to be any trouble. The care staff are fantastic and clearly enjoy their working
environment. Our son has complex needs and the range of staff from the care assistants to the senior nursing staff that the home has ensures that he gets excellent care for the duration of his stay. Without doubt the organising and management of the home is equal to the care staff. The management are always available to discuss things and the housekeeping manager is kind and caring and checks with us frequently that things are as we want them. We would strongly recommend anyone to this home and we hope to continue visiting for respite care in the future.

My father was treated with respect, kindness and care as he entered the final stage of his life. The staff made sure my father was comfortable and would sit and talk to him when he didn't want to leave his room. My father struggled with being in a facility but all the staff made him comfortable and
kept him safe. His medical care was excellent.
Family are kept well-informed and regularly updated. Visits were always lovely and meals can be taken in the restaurant together. When my Dad couldn't walk he was given extra care moving him and was helped to feel independent.
Special mention must be made of the manager and staff. The manager's kindness to my father and staff's kindness to me will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone at the Poets - I'm sorry I don't know all your names but I remember all your kindnesses.
My Dad passed away recently and whilst going through his phone I found a selfie of him smiling happily in the Bistro with one of the carers. I shall treasure this. Thank you.

It's a fantastic nursing home. Practically brand new, very comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean and staffed by a great team who really do their best to make their residents' time with them as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. My father was dreading going into care and is actually very
happy with his life at The Poets. It's a great relief knowing that he is being so well cared for by the great team The Poets has.

From the moment you walk in, you are met with professional and courteous staff. The nursing team are always willing to talk to and know each resident. The management have shown good direction on how the home should be run and this appears to be followed by all staff. My mother has settled in well
and appears to be thriving.

I was given a personal recommendation to the Poets and I can't thank my friend enough. My mum receives what I believe is the best possible care in the most amazing environment. The Manageress is top notch and this flows down from her to all her staff. Wonderful, thank you The Poets.

1. I spent one week in 'Poets' for convalescence following a hip replacement.
2. All the staff were courteous, helpful, respectful and attentive to my personal requests and preferences.
3. Medication was administered according to the hospital discharge instructions. One felt confident in the
medical/nursing professionalism.
4. Food was a bit bland and green veggies were sadly always soggy. Fresh fruit is always available on request.
5. I would recommend this home unreservedly.

The Poets is a stunning care home with great amenities and facilities. The staff are always friendly, approachable and engaging. The team are well led and the nursing team are fantastic, making each visit enjoyable and putting us at ease knowing that my friend is looked after.

We are absolutely delighted to have found The Poets. It is a wonderful home and community. Nursing care is of a very high standard, with great attention to detail, kindness, compassion and empathy for all patients and their families.
The home itself is very well designed and kept to exceptionally
high standards. Every effort is made to ensure that the residents are comfortable to enable patients to enjoy as full a life as possible.
A wonderful and varied programme of activities is arranged throughout the week. There are many different areas around the home where patients can sit or explore, and the staff give the impression that nothing is too much trouble!
Care bells are answered promptly and efficiently. Manual handling of patients is conducted very professionally and with up-to-date apparatus. Physiotherapy is provided to patients who require this support by a very well-respected and able physiotherapist.
This home is extremely well managed and run.

We looked at many nursing homes before choosing The Poets for my mum in November 2022. The rooms are large and well-equipped and the building and gardens are beautiful. There are lots of communal spaces where residents are assisted in joining the friends they make for coffee in the Bistro, lunch in
the dining room and fun and creative pursuits in the activities room. The nursing and care team are attentive and respectful, the activities team is enthusiastic and makes participating lots of fun for the residents and no question or concern is too much trouble for the reception, admin and management team. As a family, we have always been welcomed and treated with kindness which has been much appreciated following the frustrating time we experienced when Mum was in the hospital. We are kept well informed of Mum's health, food and activities each day via the app. Mum is very happy and able to make her own daily choices and the staff are very friendly and welcoming to us as a family.

environment. Our son has complex needs and the range of staff from the care assistants to the senior nursing staff that the home has ensures that he gets excellent care for the duration of his stay. Without doubt the organising and management of the home is equal to the care staff. The management are always available to discuss things and the housekeeping manager is kind and caring and checks with us frequently that things are as we want them. We would strongly recommend anyone to this home and we hope to continue visiting for respite care in the future.
