View Full Details of Broadlands Lodge Care HomeMy friend has been resident here for two years. He loves it. The care he has received is fantastic. He can be awkward and grumpy sometimes because of his dementia but the carers take all in their stride with him making him laugh and change his mood. Nothing is too much trouble, and he, despite his reluctance at first to come into a care home, recognises that he is safe and secure with a caring, friendly atmosphere, it's the best place for him.
I would highly recommend this care home. My mum has advanced dementia and the staff and management have been fantastic and very caring. The facilities are great - beautiful rooms and clean too. It is a relief knowing Mum and her needs are taken good care of. Thank you.
Mum has temporarily been in Broadland Lodge whilst we wait for the home in Gorleston to open, and I would say the care she has received has been excellent. We have tried Mum in several homes previously for respite, and Broadland Lodge is by far the best we have tried. The staff are the most supportive and caring I have come across. I can only hope and wish that the same standards are applied to the new one in Gorleston.
The staff and carers are really friendly and super helpful. They are always willing to listen and adapt to make my father's stay pleasant. The food and menu look delicious and the rooms are large, designer and spacious. My favourite feature is the retainer bed which looks super comfortable and larger than most. Dad is always treated with dignity and has built some lovely relationships with his carers. I know he is being looked after well.
A great environment with engaged and supportive staff who are ready to provide in every respect. The facility is lovely and kept to a very high standard. Always enjoy visiting.
I am so happy with the care my mother's getting in this home. I also love how modern and clean and how helpful and happy the staff and residents are. Thank you!
The manager and the team made the whole admission process very easy and took away the stress by organising and overseeing the transfer from hospital to the care home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff are very attentive and caring. Staff to patient ratio is very good and they all look happy which is nice to see and that they enjoy their jobs.
The place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My mum had a lovely time and loved it at Broadlands Lodge Care Home. Lots of activities and the food they serve is restaurant quality. The whole place is a gem. It's like living in a five-star hotel.
Broadlands Lodge Care Home provides outstanding care for my mother who suffers with advanced dementia and can be very challenging. Additionally, my father and I always feel kept up to date with any issues Mum is facing and they are always happy to offer support to my elderly father too. There's always a warm welcome and the home is a bright and clean environment for residents.
My sister came to Broadlands Lodge Care Home from another care home where she wasn't happy. From the moment she walked into Broadlands Lodge, she was a changed person with the care from staff who made her welcome and soon was in a friendship with other residents. Every time we have been to visit here, she has been happy and relaxed.
I have been extremely impressed by the services and staff at Broadlands Lodge Care Home. The facilities are clean, well-designed and maintained and beautifully decorated. The management staff have been extremely approachable and helpful, answering all queries and even accommodating Mum's cat into the home! When we brought Mum here, the staff were so attentive and able to get an instant rapport with her, they knew all their residents so well, including all of their preferences and on my visits, I have seen the same staff members regularly and it is nice to get to know them. I can be confident that Mum is safe in their care.
Management is exceptional. Carers are first-class. Wouldn't want Mum to be anywhere else. Excellent all round.
Very warm and welcoming on our first visit to enquire re. a placement for my sister-in-law (age 63) with onset dementia. Excellent understanding of her needs and management of her daily care. Would not hesitate to recommend this care home. All staff are very knowledgeable. Excellent all round, like a five-star hotel.
I visited several care homes prior to selecting Broadlands Lodge Care Home and found not one to compare with it. It is friendly and comfortable. The staff are all approachable and caring and it's a place you feel you can trust that your relative can be cared for to a high standard. The facilities are amazing and cleanliness is to a high standard. The support that has been given to my mother-in-law and us, her family, has been greatly appreciated. Overall, Broadlands Lodge, in my opinion and that of all the family is that it's a wonderful place.
My wife's experience was a very good one. Her room was very clean and tidy and always had clean bath towels and her room was spacious and plenty of cupboard space. The staff are always very polite and willing to help with anything. The menu was always a good choice and if you didn't fancy anything on the menu you could ask for food of your choice. Entertainment and things to do were always plenty with staff being involved in some of the activities. My wife felt very safe and treated with dignity at all times. Management was always available when required.
We are very happy with the care home especially the friendly staff whom have helped us feel our dad is in the right place. We believe our dad will be well cared for fed well and looked after properly giving us peace of mind.
Mum was welcomed with open arms and very quickly made to feel at home. Her room is spacious and well-designed and great care has been taken to make sure residents have everything they could need. I cannot fault the staff who have made the transition to a home as smooth as possible and I would recommend them to anyone.
The home is going from strength to strength, and a big part of that is one lovely member of staff in particular who has brought new activities and experiences to the residents. She is warm and welcoming (as are many staff). A lovely lady. Special mention also for front of house manager, who is so welcoming and kind. The staff are all helpful and hardworking, and we are so grateful to them.
My mum has been at Broadlands Lodge Care Home for sixteen months. During her stay, her care has been faultless and she is very settled in there and most importantly, she is very happy. She has made friends in there and gets along with all the staff. The facilities are excellent, as is the level of care, and the staff are very friendly and interact with my mum in a lovely manner, always jovially to make her stay fun. The activities have increased recently and this is also a huge positive for her stay and the care home as a whole.
I am very impressed with the atmosphere at Broadlands Lodge Care Home. The carers are very kind and there are always some around to help with the residents. The staff are very friendly, not just to the residents but family and friends too.
