View Full Details of Hampstead Court Care Home - Avery CollectionHampstead Court is a wonderful place. There are so many amenities, and the staff are all so friendly, helpful, and supportive. My nan has made lots of friends, and they all sit together for tea, and again at lunch and dinner. They even have cheese and wine nights. My nan now has more of a social life than myself and mum put together. There is always something going on here, cinema evenings, sing-alongs, gardening, art and yoga. My nan always seems like she is having fun, and it's so nice to see her so social and busy with fun activities.
My mother is 92 years old and suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The situation became so bad that I could not leave her alone for even 10 minutes at home. My family were very distressed that a care home was our only option. As soon as we visited Hampstead Court, we knew she would be fine. All the staff are wonderful and caring, and they really do love all the residents. The facilities are like a 5 star resort hotel, and my mum does seem to be really happy. She has met lots of nice friends, and they enjoy loads of activities and social gatherings. Thank you so much.
A modern home but only geared up for residential very mild dementia care. If you have any sort of more serious dementia do not go to this home they are not geared up for and cannot cope with real dementia. They did not treat my wife with particular kindness but were very impersonal.
Overall expensive (as are all London care homes) and excellent! Staff are genuinely and demonstrably caring. Food is excellent. Rooms (bedroom) rather small but quality of home overall is very high.
We are very happy with the care and attention being provided to our relative. We are kept informed of her progress and any issues that may arise. We are particularly very impressed by the care she receives from the staff assigned to her care and when we visit we are made to feel welcomed and valued.
Few staff, often none around to see. Can often not do something as they need a member who is on break. No cups in the kitchen, no apple juice, which I would consider basics, so inefficient not to have them. Not taken to activities (music), which needs to improve. Not enough water in lounge machine for all to have a hot drink.
Although this care home is well kept, please do not be fooled. States Dementia care but do not know how to handle this. Poor current unprofessional management team who do not communicate with family and health care professionals. Nice cinema and library but do not encourage resident to use so useless facility. If I could leave no star for management I would.
Hampstead Court Care Home is a truly excellent care home! It feels more like a five-star hotel than a care home. The rooms are superb, the service level excellent and the staff are friendly, helpful and highly professional. The facilities and organised activities are also excellent. Highly recommended!
My mother stayed at Hampstead Court for a two-week respite period. The whole process was very professional and efficient and the quality of care is outstanding. The staff are very well trained, caring, patient and compassionate. Everyone is treated with dignity. The food is exceptional too. My mother was in wonderful care at Hampstead Court and I would not hesitate to put her there again for respite or long-term care. I trust the team completely with her care.
I can't thank all the staff enough for their courtesy, kindness and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble. I was always greeted with a warm and friendly smile. I would highly recommend Hampstead Court Care Home for both short and long-term stays. Next time I need respite care I will definitely be coming here.
Highly recommended.
Very accommodating and efficient with assessment and reception on arrival. Lots of staff and willing to help with care and food etc.
Hampstead Court has taken wonderful care of my mother. The staff have been so helpful during the time when my mother has been settling in. They are clear, compassionate and straightforward in communication and have gone above and beyond to make adjustments which will make my mother feel comfortable and happy. The home gives superb individualised care with weekly visits from the GP and the priest to look after all physical and spiritual needs.
From the moment I was shown around Hampstead Court I was astounded by the friendliness of staff, the cleanliness and welcoming and homely atmosphere. The staff couldn't have been kinder and more approachable. We were new to the care system and the staff helped us navigate the person in care's health needs and advocacy. Hampstead Court really feels like home-from-home (but much nicer!) I can't praise the amazing staff and facilities enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The staff and management are very kind and caring. The food is also very good.
In my view, Hampstead Court care home is very good, clean and a lot of facilities. The staff are considerate and humane and also very helpful. I can say my stay in this care home was good and interesting.
I would like to thank the staff of Hamstead Court on behalf of my mother. The 20 days that she was at your residence you showed her such kindness and caring that made her feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone was exceptional and please express my thanks to everyone for their kindness.
My 83-year-old sister, who has been living abroad for 60 years, was keen to return to England to see family and friends for what is likely to be the last time. She has mobility issues and needs some daily assistance with showering etc. We have been delighted with her experience staying for a week at Hampstead Court. She received a wonderful welcome and has been looked after really well throughout her stay. All the staff have been helpful, friendly, supportive and very welcoming to family members who have visited her. The accommodation was excellent and she has very much enjoyed the food, activities and overall atmosphere of the care home. We are very grateful to all the staff for enabling such a positive visit.
My partner has been a resident at Hampstead Court for 3 months. From day one all the staff have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome, give support, and make a fuss of her each day. Many activities are offered each week, including seated pilates, meditation, fitness classes, crafts, and films in the cinema. Visits from outside musicians are also welcome. Also escorted visits to local cafes and coffee bars. All the facilities are kept very clean and my partner looks forward to each meal.
I booked myself into Hampstead Court Care Home for respite after a hip operation. The staff, each and every one of them could not have been nicer. They were kind, professional, and cheerful, just incredibly caring. I was really well supported and cared for. My thanks to everyone at Hampstead Court.
