My mother has been a resident at Hampstead Court Care Home for three months; it took her a little while to settle as she has always lived independently in her own home, so it was a big change for her.
We were welcomed warmly when we arrived after a very long journey, and the staff have been amazing
in helping her settle and are so happy, supportive and respectful.
There are many activities every day, which is very good for stimulating the residents. Mum especially enjoys the music and dance events.

I came to the care home for convalescence to recover from a broken bone in my leg. The care provided was very good, and all my important needs were met. My knee is much better now. All the staff from the management, team leaders, well being, and carers were all professional, very polite, caring and
helpful. There is a very good variety of activities, and I particularly liked the exercise classes, which were excellent. Thank you.

Second time at Hampstead Court. We trusted he/my husband would get good care.

I have nothing but great things to say! Professionalism to the nth degree FOR SURE, but what stands out most is the LOVE that spills out from all the employees.
I am very grateful that we found this establishment. From the Admin folks to the chefs and to the caretaking team, it doesn't matter,
they all made my 91 year old aunt feel like family. To me, that's what sets them apart from other facilities.
Thank you all for your compassion and hard work. We, your customers, notice and truly appreciate your kindness and hard work.
Bless you all!

My wife became resident in October 2025 . She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease nine years ago. It was uncertain time for both of us. But she was welcomed and has been very well looked after with thoughtfulness and kindness. She has settled very well and put on weight. Everone knows her
name and talks to her. She gets involved in activities that are going on, although in many cases it is watching and being in the company of others. I am grateful for the care and help that she receives from all the staff. It has been a great relief for me

When my mother-in-law's health suddenly declined late last year, we were fortunate she asked to move into care, but wanted to ensure it was the right decision. I came into this process with apprehension. My mum spent four difficult years in care, and my grandparents had been in care, so I have
strong feelings about what good care should look like. We have been incredibly impressed not just with the accommodation, but with the genuine care and humanity of the team. While the home is beautiful (we joke its like a four-star hotel), it's the people who stand out. Every interaction-from management to care staff, activities to maintenance-is marked by warmth, respect, and kindness. The weekly visiting doctors and the support with appointments and medications have given us peace of mind. My MIL has said more than once, "I didn't know places like this existed." That says everything. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Hampstead Court Care Home and cannot recommend it highly enough!

After living on her own for almost 30 years in Hertfordshire, my mum's health rapidly deteriorated in the last few months of 2025. She felt isolated and alone. We suspected that she was showing signs of dementia, which was subsequently confirmed via a formal assessment at a memory clinic.
We moved
my mum into Hampstead Court in February as it is close to where my wife and I live and therefore far easier for us to visit. She initially moved in on a 2 week trial to ensure she was comfortable there, which we then extended to 4 weeks. We have since made the move a permanent one.
My mum is much happier. She loves her room and its en-suite bathroom, and has made new friends (even if she doesn't always remember their names). The staff are all very kind and treat her with dignity.

It took a wee while for mum to settle but she was treated with patience and kindness and compassion. Eventually she started to thrive, put on weight and show genuine signs of happiness which I hadn't seen for some time. To all the staff on the 4th floor thank you for your love and care and thank you
too to Helene, Abi and Anthony for making a very difficult time much more easy. Knowing mum was safe, warm and well fed was such a comfort.

This was the first time I had visited my sister, who had recently become a resident. I was impressed immediately with the friendly atmosphere at reception and in the coffee area, where the facilities were great and my sister seemed relaxed and at ease. Then the staff offered a really friendly chat
explaining what activities were on offer. I also noticed that in the short time my sister had been there, they had got to know quite a lot about her and asked me and my brother in law if we would let them have some photos (for a memory book) - all in all, a very positive visit.

This care home has been excellent. As a person who has worked in one and has friends who run a care home, I am very impressed with the first impression on arrival. The staff, the cleanliness, the food, security, and most importantly, the attention to my mother.

The home is excellent. The staff are very friendly and polite. I think my mum's care is also excellent.

It's a lovely place to be looked after in, and the staff are very kind and caring.

Hampstead Court is a wonderful place. There are so many amenities, and the staff are all so friendly, helpful, and supportive. My nan has made lots of friends, and they all sit together for tea, and again at lunch and dinner. They even have cheese and wine nights. My nan now has more of a social
life than myself and mum put together. There is always something going on here, cinema evenings, sing-alongs, gardening, art and yoga. My nan always seems like she is having fun, and it's so nice to see her so social and busy with fun activities.

My mother is 92 years old and suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The situation became so bad that I could not leave her alone for even 10 minutes at home. My family were very distressed that a care home was our only option. As soon as we visited Hampstead Court, we knew she would be fine. All the
staff are wonderful and caring, and they really do love all the residents. The facilities are like a 5 star resort hotel, and my mum does seem to be really happy. She has met lots of nice friends, and they enjoy loads of activities and social gatherings. Thank you so much.

A modern home but only geared up for residential very mild dementia care. If you have any sort of more serious dementia do not go to this home they are not geared up for and cannot cope with real dementia. They did not treat my wife with particular kindness but were very impersonal.

Overall expensive (as are all London care homes) and excellent!
Staff are genuinely and demonstrably caring.
Food is excellent.
Rooms (bedroom) rather small but quality of home overall is very high.

We are very happy with the care and attention being provided to our relative. We are kept informed of her progress and any issues that may arise. We are particularly very impressed by the care she receives from the staff assigned to her care and when we visit we are made to feel welcomed and valued.
29 January 2025
Few staff, often none around to see. Can often not do something as they need a member who is on break. No cups in the kitchen, no apple juice, which I would consider basics, so inefficient not to have them.
Not taken to activities (music), which needs to improve. Not enough water in lounge machine
for all to have a hot drink.
28 November 2024
Although this care home is well kept, please do not be fooled. States Dementia care but do not know how to handle this. Poor current unprofessional management team who do not communicate with family and health care professionals.
Nice cinema and library but do not encourage resident to use so
useless facility. If I could leave no star for management I would.
