My mother moved into the home in Yarnton in April '25. She unfortunately passed away end of Feb '26. Whilst Mum was at the home, she was looked after extremely well with great care and kindness. The room was kept clean, and carers were extremely busy with their duties, and service was
excellent—regular reviews, great food, and very friendly.

We were so pleased that we chose Floryns Care Home for Mum. She was not initially keen to go into a home, but she came to love being at Floryns. She described the carers as friends, and even though she was shy at first, she started to enjoy the social activities too. We have a lot of fantastic
memories with mum here, including a family party that was held at Floryns just before Christmas. We will treasure those memories forever. Thank you.

Floryn House Care Home is a lovely, warm, friendly place to be. With welcoming smiley faces on each arrival.
The care they are giving my dad is excellent, nothing is too much trouble, and they are all very helpful if we need advice. Certainly to be recommended.

This is my first experience of a family member using a care home. The experience is far above my expectations. Everything my mother needs is provided, and the visitor experience is perfect. I visit 5 or 6 days each week, I always feel welcome, the atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly. I usually
make myself and my mother a cup of tea and grab a piece of cake or biscuits to go with it. My dog is welcomed too.
I have no concerns at all, I can relax knowing that my mother is well cared for.

Overall we are so pleased our mum is now in a safe, warm and caring environment.
All the staff have bene friendly, helpful and seem to genuinely care for the residents. The food, activities and pleasant environment make for a very comfortable and safe place.

My husband was very poorly on arrival, but in the 4 weeks of care, he reverted to the lovely, cheeky, funny man we know and loved, leaving with such good memories. He slipped away very peacefully at the end and was treated with great respect. We owe huge thanks to all the staff who cared for him,
and grateful thanks and appreciation to the management and admin team who were so helpful all throughout.

My dad stayed in this care home under his own choice after going for a viewing at the beginning of the year until his recent passing. From the moment he entered, all the staff were brilliant and my dad felt at home straight away. His loneliness had now gone after his wife had passed many years ago.
Couldn't recommend this home and the staff highly enough

This is what all care homes should aspire to. From the moment you walk in you can tell that the staff really care. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had to move mum from another care home quickly and the staff made it as easy and quick as possible. I have already recommended it to
others.

Having visited my friend on 3 occasions, I never fail to be impressed. The first thing you notice as you walk through the door is the lack of care home smell which is quite often most unpleasant in many places I have been to. This home smells and looks so nice and the reception staff always have a
welcome smile. My friend always looks clean and happy and tells me that he loves it there. The only downside for me is the fact that it is too expensive for me to live there when it comes to my time to be cared for.

My wife suffers from dementia (aged 89) and can be extremely difficult to deal with. She has been a resident at Floryn House for only a short time during which they have shown how professional, caring and utterly devoted all the staff are. Furthermore the facilities are excellent and the home is
very comfortable and well cared for. I cannot praise it highly enough.

Dad had been poorly over the winter, but the cheerful company and the activities have helped him so much to regain his own cheerfulness. The staff, and I mean all the staff, have taken the time to pop in when he was not feeling well and encourage him to join in again. He's got his laughter back.

The staff here are all very kind, caring and thoughtful to my mum! It was such a hard decision for us, but we are not disappointed with Floryn. A beautifully kept home and a pleasure to visit! My mum is settling in, and her fellow residents are happy and content. Would thoroughly recommend

Having visited many care homes in the area we felt this was the nicest and best suited to our mum. It is welcoming, clean, beautifully decorated and all the staff are so kind. A home we are happy to visit and spend time in.

Moving a beloved family member into a care home is a very big step and not taken lightly. Everyone at Floryn has made it their utmost priority to ensure a very warm, caring and supportive transition for us all. Mum is now thriving surrounded by new friends, amazing staff and a stimulating
environment. She regularly comments on how kind everyone is. Floryn is such a welcoming home where nothing is too much bother or too small a concern to be ignored. A beautiful place with beautiful gardens and staff who really do care.

I visited my daughter's father-in-law. I was made to feel welcome and warmly greeted. I was struck how homely, clean and inviting it was. The resident looked neat and well turned out and the room had a pleasant outlook.

All the staff at Floryn House are so lovely and friendly. My grandpa has only been a resident since September, but he already feels very settled and comfortable. He's found some lovely companions in both the residents and the staff, and I feel very fortunate that he's in such a good environment
where he's looked after so well.

The home has lived up to its promise of care for our relatives. The environment is modern, clean and fresh.The staff are welcoming and interact with relatives and residents with courtesy, kindness and warmth. Medical care has been prompt as effective.

A relative of mine has been and still is extremely happy with every aspect of the care home. They feel safe, warm and valued. They always have something nice and positive to say about staff and the care they are receiving. When visiting, the care home is always bright and relaxing. The staff are
always friendly and willing to help or accommodate any issues we have.

My father-in-law moved into Floryn House when they first opened. He was very warmly welcomed and everyone we met took time to get to know him and us and take care of him with compassion. During his time as a resident he developed a trusting, warm relationship with the nurses, carers and other staff
and he was very happy there. As a family we've found the home to be somewhere we all felt comfortable and happy and felt like we are part of a big family. When it came to death the home again dealt with it with great care and compassion. He was treated with the utmost respect and gentleness and our whole family were looked after incredibly well at what was a difficult time. We are forever grateful for that.
