There are daily activities if you wish or quiet areas to spend time and always healthy snacks of fruit or delicious cake and drinks available if you have room after the equally delicious meals ! After looking at a number of Care Homes, we came across Floryn House which was the only one that met all of our criteria.
Set in a lovely tranquil, tree lined cul-de-sac with a beautiful garden ticked the first box.

After looking at a number of Care Homes, we came across Floryn House which was the only one that met all of our criteria.
Set in a lovely tranquil, tree lined cul-de-sac with a beautiful garden ticked the first box.
The rooms were spacious, light and modern. The home had a calm environment.
The staff were outstanding. At a particularly stressful time both my father and the family couldn't have been looked after better by the receptionists, office staff, manager, carers, house-keeping, maintenance and nursing staff.
A great deal of effort was taken to understand Dad's medical and personal needs as well as who he was as a person, with small touches such as pictures placed outside his room to represent him.
The nursing staff were very effective in addressing Dad's ever changing medical needs.
Dad passed away shortly after moving to Floryn House, preventing him from participating in the many activities available.
However, I would absolutely recommend this hidden gem.

Kara really enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and relatives. She does her best to keep things running smoothly at the front desk and helps elsewhere wherever she can. She loves getting to know our residents on a personal level, especially their life stories!
