Having visited my friend on 3 occasions, I never fail to be impressed. The first thing you notice as you walk through the door is the lack of care home smell which is quite often most unpleasant in many places I have been to. This home smells and looks so nice and the reception staff always have a welcome smile. My friend always looks clean and happy and tells me that he loves it there. The only downside for me is the fact that it is too expensive for me to live there when it comes to my time to be cared for.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are happy that your friend has settled so well and is happy here at Floryn House.
My wife suffers from dementia (aged 89) and can be extremely difficult to deal with. She has been a resident at Floryn House for only a short time during which they have shown how professional, caring and utterly devoted all the staff are. Furthermore the facilities are excellent and the home is very comfortable and well cared for. I cannot praise it highly enough.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care provided for your wife and we are happy to continue to support her and yourself positively as part of our family here at the home.
Dad had been poorly over the winter, but the cheerful company and the activities have helped him so much to regain his own cheerfulness. The staff, and I mean all the staff, have taken the time to pop in when he was not feeling well and encourage him to join in again. He's got his laughter back. Thank you.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. We are so happy that Dad has started to feel much better and is socialising with his friends at the home again!
Having visited many care homes in the area we felt this was the nicest and best suited to our mum. It is welcoming, clean, beautifully decorated and all the staff are so kind. A home we are happy to visit and spend time in.
Thank you so very much for such a lovely review. Mum has settled extremely well into the resident group at Floryn and we are happy that you enjoy visiting her and being part of our family.
Moving a beloved family member into a care home is a very big step and not taken lightly. Everyone at Floryn has made it their utmost priority to ensure a very warm, caring and supportive transition for us all. Mum is now thriving surrounded by new friends, amazing staff and a stimulating environment. She regularly comments on how kind everyone is. Floryn is such a welcoming home where nothing is too much bother or too small a concern to be ignored. A beautiful place with beautiful gardens and staff who really do care.
Thank you so very much for such a positive review. It is an absolute pleasure to look after Mum and to know that she is happy and settled. It is also lovely to welcome you as regular visitors to the home and to know that you are able to spend positive and quality time with Mum. Thank you!
I visited my daughter's father-in-law. I was made to feel welcome and warmly greeted. I was struck how homely, clean and inviting it was. The resident looked neat and well turned out and the room had a pleasant outlook.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are pleased that you are happy with Floryn House and that you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
All the staff at Floryn House are so lovely and friendly. My grandpa has only been a resident since September, but he already feels very settled and comfortable. He's found some lovely companions in both the residents and the staff, and I feel very fortunate that he's in such a good environment where he's looked after so well.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so pleased to read how well your Grandpa settled in. The staff work very hard to ensure all residents of Floryn feel as comfortable and well looked after. We will ensure the feedback is given to the staff. Once again, thank you.
My dad has settled in very quickly and that is a testament to the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The quality of care is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. As a family, we are very pleased that dad chose Floryn!
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so pleased to hear how well your Dad has settled into Floryn. We will ensure the staff receive the lovely feedback you've taken the time to give. Once again, thank you.
The home has lived up to its promise of care for our relatives. The environment is modern, clean and fresh. The staff are welcoming and interact with relatives and residents with courtesy, kindness and warmth. Medical care has been prompt as effective.
Thank you for such a positive review. It has been an honour to welcome both of your relatives into the Floryn family. We are also grateful for your continued support of the home and the team.
A relative of mine has been and still is extremely happy with every aspect of the care home. They feel safe, warm and valued. They always have something nice and positive to say about staff and the care they are receiving. When visiting, the care home is always bright and relaxing. The staff are always friendly and willing to help or accommodate any issues we have.
Thank you for such a positive review. It is reassuring to know that you look forward to visiting Floryn House and that your relative feels safe and well cared for. We are happy to have you all as part of the Floryn family!
My father-in-law moved into Floryn House when they first opened. He was very warmly welcomed and everyone we met took time to get to know him and us and take care of him with compassion. During his time as a resident he developed a trusting, warm relationship with the nurses, carers and other staff and he was very happy there. As a family we've found the home to be somewhere we all felt comfortable and happy and felt like we are part of a big family. When it came to death the home again dealt with it with great care and compassion. He was treated with the utmost respect and gentleness and our whole family were looked after incredibly well at what was a difficult time. We are forever grateful for that.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It was a real honour to look after your father-in-law and you all very quickly became part of the Floryn family.I am so happy that you continue to stay in touch with us even after his sad passing. We are very grateful for your continued support.
I have really enjoyed volunteering at Floryn House care home. I love helping such a wonderful dedicated team of caring staff members. Floryn House invites and involves the surrounding community also which I think is a special privilege for me and all of my fellow neighbours. We have all been welcomed from the very beginning and have so enjoyed being involved which is something that so many of us have appreciated and enjoyed so much. There have been so many fantastic events and activities that I have enjoyed already with some of their lovely residents and staff members over the last few months and I cant wait for more. Floryn House is a beautiful care home with really caring staff and has amazing facilities all in a peaceful leafy part of Oxford. I'm especially lucky to live very close by to be part of it all.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. It is a pleasure to have you as part of the team ensuring that our residents are able to have the best experience here at Floryn House. Your help is very much appreciated.
It is a joy to see members of the staff team calmly supporting and interacting with residents and gently encouraging their involvement in the daily activities.
Thank you for such a positive review. It is lovely to be able to welcome you into the home and to support your loved one to have such a positive experience here at Floryn House.
I moved here from another home. I have felt most welcome. All of the staff our truly amazing. The food is always to a high standard and the portion sizes are just right. The home is always clean and tidy. I really do feel at home.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It is such an honour to be able to look after you and welcome you as part of the Floryn family.
We use the Floryn House Care Home as day visitors. My husband has Parkinson's Disease, we may need full time care in the future. Whenever we visit we are welcomed into the Floryn House family. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities are wonderful, up to date and very clean. We love our visits and really appreciate what we, my husband in particular, gain from the visits. Thank you Floryn House staff.
It is a real pleasure to welcome you into Floryn House. We look forward to continuing to support you both in the future and we thank you for such a lovely review.
I have found care and friendship past all my hopes! I feel safe, secure and an experience in Floryn House that surpasses all expectations. My only dissatisfaction is with some food issues which I hope will improve in time.
It is a pleasure to be able to look after you as part of the Floryn family. Thank you so much for your review and we are happy that feedback for the home remains positive.
Visited a friend with a group of others. We go monthly, find the staff very welcoming, nothing too much trouble.
Thank you so much for this positive review. It is always lovely to welcome you into the home.
Mum has dementia and moved to Floryn 3 weeks ago from another care home. The home has a welcoming, positive energy and the staff are definitely 5-star - in Mum's words, they are lovely, friendly and kind. They are very attentive and patient and I feel reassured that Mum is being looked after in a kind, caring and professional way. The manager too is very visible and involved with residents and relatives ensuring high standards are maintained. Mum has settled in well and we are very pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Thank you Floryn!
Thank you so much for such a positive review. It is a real pleasure to look after Mum and to welcome you all into the Floryn family. We are proud of the quality of care that we provide at the home and the carers are all very passionate about those residents living with dementia receiving care that is patient and dementia-focused.
The home itself is welcoming and well-maintained, with a comforting atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The level of care my father received was outstanding, and it was such a relief to know he was in such capable hands.
We are deeply grateful to everyone at Floryn House for creating a supportive environment that felt like an extension of our family. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful care home to anyone seeking a place where their loved ones will be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care.
Thank you for this lovely review. It was an honour to look after your father and we always looked forward to all your family visiting. You quickly became part of our Floryn family. We are so happy that we are going to maintain contact with you and that your daughter has become one of our volunteers.
It is a lovely new care home. Staff very friendly, caring and attentive. Lots of activities for residents and their relatives. Rooms large and bright with all mod cons, gardens well laid out and well tended.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We look forward to seeing you when you are visiting!
