My father moved here in September and has been very happy here. The managers are able to create a lovely family atmosphere and are always prepared to muck in to help out. Everyone is very friendly and the staff cope with idiosyncrasies of the residents. The nurses are lovely and the carers treat my father with dignity and respect at all times. The garden is delightful.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. It is a real pleasure to look after Dad and we are so pleased he has settled so well into the Floryn family.
From the minute I walked in to view the home before his admission, I was made to feel welcome and whenever I visit now I feel part of the Floryn House family.
Thank you team Floryn!
Thank you so very much for such a positive review. Grandpa has quickly become part of our family and has made some new friends already. It is always lovely to welcome you as a visitor and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
My grandpa came here for respite initially but after only 5 days he decided he wanted to stay. Since moving in he has been warmly welcomed by all the staff and has settled in so well. It was always going to be a hard transition for him as he is a very independent man but due to the fantastic staff and the support they have offered him, he has found it easier. We have just been to the official opening and the atmosphere is amazing, all residents looked really happy and the staff are so supportive and friendly, the food is fantastic. My grandpa especially likes that he is called by his name rather than sir. He has enjoyed meeting new people and being more sociable again, he especially likes that he can have a glass of wine with his lunch. Floryn House is a wonderful home and the main thing that makes it so wonderful is its staff. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of my grandpa.
We are so pleased that grandpa has decided to stay with us in such a short period of time. He has enjoyed making new friends and is already a firm part of the family here at Floryn. Thank you for such a positive review and we are happy that you are also a regular visitor and are part of the Floryn family too!
The atmosphere overall is very positive, created by the warm and friendly team who seem to care about and enjoy time with residents. The indoor environment is very nice, light and cosy with a central meeting place for coffee and activities with separate lounge and dining areas. Particular care has been taken with the garden with a variety of different plants and places to sit. A real gem!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. The team at Floryn pride themselves on the high standards of care we provide for our residents and we certainly do enjoy spending time with our residents and relatives alike. We look forward to welcoming you back to Floryn House very soon !
Len is very happy here. Mixing with lots of new people and doing activities. Very clean and homely. His room is airy, clean and has all home comforts. We miss him at home but this is the next best thing for him.
Thank you for such a lovely review . We are so pleased that he has settled so well and that you are happy with the care he is receiving .
Our 96-year-old mother recently moved to Floryn House from a retirement village. Her needs had changed and she required a caring and welcoming care home. We were most fortunate her needs coincided with the opening of Floryn House. All the staff from the very start have been welcoming, friendly and caring both to Mum and all our family when visiting. Facilities are first class. Staff are patient and always ready to have a chat with residents. Mum is very well looked after and appears very happy and settled. Floryn House is a credit to the manager and all her staff who have created an environment which is more like an extended family than a care home. We would have no hesitation in recommending Floryn House to somebody seeking a care home.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are really pleased that Mum has settled so well and that she is flourishing at Floryn House. We are proud of the culture and family feel of the home that makes residents and relatives feel so welcome. It is a privilege to look after her!
We found it to be a lovely caring environment. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and seems to genuinely care for the residents. It was beautifully clean and well cared for. Lots of different areas to sit and chat and a really lovely garden. We had lunch with our friends and the food was of a high standard. Overall a very positive experience.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It is always nice for us to welcome regular friends and family into the home and give them a positive experience alongside our residents. We are hopefully looking forward to seeing you again very soon !
My mother came to Floryn House as an emergency respite admission. She liked it so much, that she has decided to stay.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. We were thrilled that Mum has stayed with us and continues to enjoy her life here at Floryn House. She has made some lovely friends and is always out and about in the Home!
Floryn House Care home is a friendly place and I felt mum was well looked after. I know the carers were able to have a laugh and a joke with mum. Mum was a resident for only a short time, as mum's situation was terminal and my lovely mum declined quickly requiring personal care, medication and emotional support. I visited at random times and staff would always offer a cup of tea on arrival. During the last few hours of my mum's life, the manager stayed in her own time to offer support to my brother and I.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It was a pleasure to look after your mum and support your family at such a difficult time. We are also grateful that you are bringing another member of your family to Floryn House so that our relationship can continue.
I visited Floryn House seeking a final home for my 90 year old aunt. Although only recently opened, staff were knowledgeable and most importantly all were friendly, warm and welcoming. My aunt visited and again was overwhelmed with the friendly atmosphere. She moved in three weeks ago and although it has been a huge change, staff and care have been outstanding. They are patient and take time to chat. Carers, managers, activity organiser, handyman and chef : all lovely! Only problem is the unsuitable telephone for an elderly person with impaired vision. But they have promised a solution! Thank you.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It is a pleasure to be able to look after your aunt and she has already become a large part of our Floryn family. The telephone issue has been escalated and we hope to be finding a solution very soon.
We couldn't be more pleased we found a home from home for him.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are so pleased that Dad has settled so well and is enjoying his time at Floryn House.
I was welcome on the spur of the moment as my home had flooded, I liked it so much I decided to stay. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I enjoy the company. Lovely tasty food. My friends and family have been welcomed when they have visited me.
It was so lovely to be able to help you in your hour of need! It's even more special for the Floryn team to know that you now wish to stay with us permanently. Welcome to our Floryn family and we know that you will continue to enjoy special times with residents and the team.
It is my pleasure to volunteer in Floryn House. The Manager is an amazing, kind and special lady who puts everyone's needs before her own. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond for their residents and their families. All visitors are made to feel at home, which is not only a Beautiful home but pristine and spacious with the latest technology. The food is outstanding. I fully recommend that Floryn House is a perfect setting for your loved ones to stay, giving you peace of mind that they are cared for how you would expect and hope for.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. It is a complete pleasure to have you as part of our family here at Floryn House. We pride ourselves in the high standard of care that we give and the warm and friendly atmosphere that everyone feels is so very special. Thank you for your continued support!
A truly splendid home from home, light, clean and so welcoming. Given a tour of the three floors by the receptionist who was very informed and obviously proud of what she was showing me. Very impressed that the care offered was right the way through to a possible terminal journey. So very essential for those caring to have such assistance from professionals.
Thank you for such a lovely review. I am glad that you had such a positive visit and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
My dad initially went to Floryn House for respite care following a spell in hospital and before his respite ended he decided he loved it so much that he wanted to stay permanently. As a family, we have nothing but praise for the manager and all the staff. The home has a welcoming feel from the moment you walk in, everyone is friendly and speaks to you and you feel you're part of the Floryn House family. Dad is really well looked after and nothing is too much trouble, he has flourished since arriving at the home and is happily mixing with the other residents and staff and is more like his old sociable self again. I would have no hesitation in recommending Floryn to friends and family. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and professional. I feel very confident that he is getting the best care possible. It's 10/10 from me!
Thank you so very much for such a positive review. It was such a special day when dad decided that he wanted to stay at Floryn rather than go home. He has very quickly become part of the Floryn family and it is an honour to be able to look after him and provide the care that he requires. To see him...
Lovely to have Winnie the Therapy Dog around to see people also.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. Winnie the Therapy Dog enjoys visiting your Grandpa and the other residents daily and we are so pleased that Grandpa has settled so very quickly.
Great home! Very impressed with the care my grandpa has received so far! Pleased that after 2 weeks of respite, he has decided to become a permanent resident in the home. Highly recommend Floryn House!
Thank you so much for this lovely review. It is a real pleasure to look after your Grandpa and we were thrilled when he decided to stay with us permanently. He has very quickly become a part of the Floryn family and has enjoyed socialising with other residents on a regular basis.
A very inspiring afternoon at the home making Halloween decorations with my aunt. I was taken aback at how friendly caring and creative it is. Congratulations to everyone on making it an enjoyable place for residents.
Thank you for such a positive review. It is so important to keep the residents stimulated with activities and for family members to be able to take part as well! Looking forward to seeing you back in the home very soon!
Floryn House is a great care home. From the moment mum arrived, she has been treated with care and respect. The staff are friendly and approachable. They have helped mum have a sense of purpose again. The food is delicious, second to none. Mum is very settled and happy at Floryn House.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. It is a delight looking after Mum and we are so happy that she has settled so well. It's also been a positive activity for her to help at reception each morning! Keeping busy is so important for her and she has quickly become part of our Floryn family.
Whilst Floryn House has been open for less than six months, it has been set up as the standard to beat. My overall experience is rated as excellent, with excellent in all categories other than "activities", which is awaiting the recruitment of a new lead. The home is a truly welcoming place for the residents and their families/visitors. The room, facilities and staff are first-rate and provide a stable, caring environment for the residents.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We are so pleased that Dad has settled so well and is enjoying living here with us at Floryn House. Our activities manager has now started so there is much being organised and plenty going on!
