Was resident for 2 weeks (respite after hip surgery). On first impressions, new, with very well appointed rooms and great ensuite bathrooms and well furnished communal lounge - dining. Let down enormously by carer shortage - overworked, understaffed. Got my feet washed once (1) in 2 weeks! Meds
usually late. No carers available at breakfast to give order to cook! Too busy carers preparing residents for the day ahead. Food a huge let down, at £1,600 a week would have liked more than 1 x glass of wine with my supper/dinner

My mother has now been a resident at Greenholme for around 2 months. It was a struggle to persuade her to move from her home but within a week she was totally settled and is now very happy and her health and wellbeing has improved dramatically. The best thing about the home is the staff, they go
above and beyond to make the residents feel welcome by really getting to know them individually so that they can tailor the care and activities to their personal needs and interests. It is a very friendly and welcoming environment and it is a pleasure to visit.

Such a gorgeous care home. A real community feel and the team clearly love what they do! I take my little therapy dog to visit and it is wonderful to see the range of activities the residents are involved with. A true sense of warmth the minute you walk through the doors. The staff clearly love
being there which is rare these days!

My sister is being so very well looked after!
The rooms and food are like a five star hotel!
Nothing is too much trouble and she has settled in well .

My Mum had 6 weeks of Respite care at Greenholme House recently. It's a beautiful residence with such caring Staff throughout. This was not only the care my mum received, but as regular visitors my Brother and I were made so welcome. The thought of my Mum going into a Care Home, albeit just for
respite, really upset us both. But we need not have worried at all. This was a lovely experience for all of us and I know that the success of Mum's recovery after her major operation, is due in no small part to her stay.

I brought my mother and step father to the care home on a Sunday and the admin staff that I had been dealing with on the phone made a special effort to be there on a day they didn't usually work. All the homes staff have been enthusiastic and welcoming.

The staff at Greenholme House are welcoming, friendly & outstanding in every way. The facilities are fantastic however its the staff that make all the difference. We celebrated an 85th & the private dining for 7 was excellent. I'm happy to whole heartedly recommend.

We had a fabulous birthday meal in the private dining room for my friend. The staff were very helpful in the organisation of the event, nothing was too much trouble. The menu was delicious and we had a fantastic afternoon. We must do it again!

This home has give my father a new lease of life. staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and all involved and most of all they work to every residence individual needs. My dad was originally on respite bite for couple of months now he's there permanently as he loves it and always talks highly
about all Involved. As a family, we highly recommend

The home was well decorated, light & airy. The facilities seem amazing. The staff were all very friendly & helpful & the tea & coffee were good.

I spent 4 weeks at Greenholme House following 'new knee' surgery. Every member of the staff team helped me to recover, providing for my needs - physically and emotionally, encouraging me to eat, to move around as I became stronger and more confident. The staff are well trained. There is a happy
atmosphere and the friendly, warm and caring attitude means I am grateful to have enjoyed my stay in this 'sanctuary space'.

The care at Greenholme has been exceptional! We really feel like the team are an extension of our family and treat my Mum with humour, respect and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble, the facilities, the food, the outings, activities and entertainment has made such a difference to her. We couldn't
be happier.

visited my grandad who is currently on respite. home is beautiful, staff and managers were really helpful and supportive. cant rate highly enough. he was having dinner when I was there, food looked really appetising and grandad said he was really happy.

We moved our mum in for respite care and she is now a permanent resident. The care home is beautifully furnished, the food in the restaurant is outstanding and it's a lovely place for us to sit and enjoy lunch with Mum and the other residents. All the team here provide outstanding care to Mum. The
activities are great fun and we are all looking forward to the Mother's Day flower arranging class and the afternoon tea. If you are making the diffficult decision of putting a loved one into care we can't recommend Greenholme enough.

My husband has thoroughly enjoyed his month long stay at Greenholme. He and I feel it has done him a lot of good. Beautiful surroundings, caring and expert staff, great activities, delicious food and so, so important, a manager who makes herself available to answer any questions and to join in the
happy atmosphere that she and her like-minded staff create daily. We think this beautiful care home will be seeing my husband as often as we can afford. Thank you to all concerned.
