View Full Details of Hindhead Place Care HomeMum moved to Hindhead Place last month, and I have been so impressed by the care and attention that the staff have shown to the whole family as she has settled in. The activities leader, Janice, is so creative and kind. Mum has enjoyed watching live performances from musicians, tap dancers, films in the cinema, and walking around the garden and up to the Common. She's done watercolour painting, cooking and ceramics and tried several other craft projects. We're so pleased that we chose Hindhead Place - thank you all!
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my dad has received at this home. As someone living with dementia, he has required specialised attention, and the staff here have truly taken the time to understand him as an individual. They have carefully paid attention to what his needs are, what may trigger him and what makes him comfortable. The personalised care approach has made all the difference. Rather than a 'one size fits all' solution, they've gotten to know my dad and adapted their care to suit him specifically. The staff are genuinely approachable and I always feel I can talk to them whenever I need to, whether it's a concern or just to check in. I'm deeply grateful for the compassionate care my dad receives here and would recommend this home to any family looking for quality dementia care.
The moment I walked through the door I knew this was going to be my Aunt's future home. So many welcoming, smiling faces and the overall ambience did it for me. However I was not sure it had the same affect on my Aunt !! The facilities, the food and the charming rooms are second to none My Aunt has been there over 2 months now and, has settled in very well . Thank you so much to all the caring staff for making her transition to her new life such a positive experience.
I've been to many care homes in my time and I've even worked in a care home for people with dementia and I can honestly say Hindhead Place is the nicest home I've ever seen, I'm not just saying that because everything is new, Its the staff they all go that extra mile for the residents and their families. To have peace of mind knowing that they will do everything to make the resident feel at home and part of a family means so much to the family and friends.
We did extensive research across the south of England to find a home suitable for my parents very different situations. Hindhead Place met those criteria as somewhere for an active person looking for more social interaction, and for someone with the unfortunate challenges of Alzheimer's. The care and attention has been faultless, with the Home Maker concept a particular USP setting them apart from the crowd. The brand new building has been beautifully appointed and, whilst being homely, really has that smart hotel feel that reassures you that your loved ones are somewhere truly special
Mum had a lovely stay at hindhead place. She enjoyed all the extra attention and made some friends. She was very well looked after kept clean and tidy and well fed. Lovely rooms and garden. I would highly recommend for the care she had.
Overall, I am fully satisfied with the service provided. The food is much improved since I came here in July. I am happy here, given my circumstances, and I regard it as 'home' to my family and friends.
I have been extremely impressed by the care and support offered to my mother as she transitioned from another care home to Hindhead Place very soon after it opened in June 2025. The facilities are indeed impressive, but it is the thoughtful, caring, creative, respectful staff that are the next important aspect of Hindhead Place. Thank you.
Having reached the ripe old age of 100 and been living on her own for the last 40 odd years, finding somewhere new to live was never going to be an easy task. On her first visit, Peggy was immediately taken with the home. We then had the constant question, "When am I moving in?" Well, she is now very much at home, enjoying all the home comforts, wonderful food and 5 star attention she is given. She could not be happier.
Dad moved into Hindhead Place nearly 8 weeks ago. From the first informal visit to moving in day his needs and wishes were carefully considered. He was able to choose his own room, personalise it with his favourite armchair and belongings from home, which made moving in a relaxed more home from home experience. Dad enjoys spending time in his room reading yet equally enjoys dipping in and out of the varied activities and opportunities on offer each day. The daily exercise class has improved his mobility and dexterity somewhat. Without exception the staff are friendly and attentive, they listen and respond to any matters or ideas as they arise. Visiting is a pleasure and I leave knowing that dad is content, well cared for and safe. For my sister and I that is everything.
We are very pleased with the facilities and the high quality of care. There is a wide range of activities, morning, afternoon and evening and we particularly appreciate the exercise classes, the outings and the community feel at Hindhead Place.
Hindhead Place Care Home is an attractive, brand-new care home. It is stylishly decorated and has lovely facilities, including well-designed bedrooms and suites, a cinema room, lounge areas, an activity room, and gardens. Most importantly, the staff are always friendly, approachable, and attentive. They are quick to respond to any queries my mother or I may have. I have always felt welcome to visit, and the atmosphere seems upbeat. There is an imaginative offering of activities for those who would like to take part, as well as visits by entertainers. The fact that staff do not wear a uniform makes the place feel more like a community than a care home. Above all, I particularly appreciate the great care they have taken to get to know my mother since she has been there.
