Management should be so proud of their staff and how they interact with residents. This home is well managed, and I would highly recommend Fazakerley House Care Home, where residents are well cared for; the staff and management are amazing.
I visited my friend who is living with dementia. On my arrival, the home was calm, and staff friendly and welcoming. I was directed to my friend who was sat with a staff member who was going through family photos. The look on her face was a picture. Staff go above and beond in this care home.
My mother has been in Fazakerley House for approx 12 months and has always been treated with dignity and respect she is always clean and representable and also happy with her room and toilet she can be quite insular at times but is always asked if she wants to take part in the activities and is never pressured into doing so my sister and I can relax knowing she is well cared for and happy
My mum has been a resident here since Oct 2024, and the care she receives is of a consistently high standard. All of the staff are professional and caring with residents, and the home environment is warm, friendly and relaxed. Visiting is flexible, and I'm always made welcome and feel very confident about the excellent care my mum receives here.
Since my mum has been in Fazakerley House, the staff have gone above and beyond and continue to do so with all aspects of her care. It has been a difficult time for her as she lost her husband back in September, the manager and all the staff have been amazing with their time towards her.
My nan has been at Fazakerley House for over a year now. I looked at several homes and none compared to the feeling I got when I first visited this home, it really has a personal touch. A daunting time for me quickly turned into one of the best decisions I made for my nan. The staff are down to earth and go above and beyond for all the residents, nothing is ever too much to ask. The level of care the staff give to my nan is second to none, I will never be able to thank them enough for the sense of security I have knowing my nan is safe and well looked after. The home is well-managed and always has something going on to entertain the residents. The staff have always made me feel welcome since the day my nan moved in, they are always happy to provide me with updates over the phone on days I am unable to visit. I couldn't recommend Fazakerley House more.
Couldn't recommend Fazakerly House enough. It's never an easy decision moving a family member into care, but the staff here are just amazing; they treat all the residents like members of their own family. Nothing is ever too much. Always so welcoming when you visit, and my grandads never had a bad word to say.
Lovely place to look after my grandad, I feel settled knowing he's in here with all the amazing staff. I like to visit here, they make you feel welcome, and there is a lovely feel to the environment. I will give it 10 stars
My mum was a resident at Fazakerley House for the last four months of her life and thoroughly enjoyed her time here. The staff are just wonderful. I really can't recommend the care home enough. The manager is fabulous. The environment is definitely a home away from home. Cheerful and friendly. I know I keep saying this, but I can't thank you all enough for mum's care.
Fazakerley House has been a change of living for my mum aged 88/89. She suffers for Alzheimer/Dementia. She has settled in so well and me/wife can see 100% improvement in herself. She seems so content in herself were she is. All the staff keep it bright upbeat. Mum likes the food in general we/all are very pleased with Fazakerley House. Such a calm atmosphere for all residents.
My dad passed away recently in the local hospital, age 92. Up until then he had resided at Fazakerly House. I cannot praise them all highly enough. The girls who cared for him were absolutely wonderful, they could not do enough for him. He was much loved by the staff there. He had a lovely ensuite room, he called it his holiday apartment. He was always warm and comfortable. If he needed access to a GP or nurse they were always quick to visit him. My brother, sister and myself are so grateful to the wonderful team and just wanted to thank them so much for the excellent care they showed my dad. Also a special mention to the cleaners, who kept Fazakerley house so clean. Never were there any unpleasant smells that sometime occur in homes. Finally to the team who were simply marvellous and I cannot thank them enough
My mother has been a resident at Fazakerley House Care Home, Prescot for approximately six months. She is 94 years old and lost her husband of 71 years in February 2024. As a family we were reluctant to made the move to a residential home, however it has proved to be such a positive experience for us all. Mum's mental state has improved considerably due to the love and care from all the staff.
My father moved in to Fazakerley House October 2023. As a family we looked at several care homes before deciding on Fazakerley house. We feel dad received the best care and that we had made the best decision. Unfortunately dad passed away on 3rd of January 2025. The support and care my dad and my family received was second to none. Although dad had dementia he felt at home and had a good relationship with all the staff. We would have no hesitation in recommending Fazakerley house to anyone. We can not thank the staff enough especially during his last days.
My mother has been a resident for 2 years now and her care is excellent. All the staff are well informed of her condition and needs, and although those needs have changed recently, the staff have adapted really well. Mum is content and well looked after.
My dad was a resident at Fazakerley House for approximately 6 months this year. During that time his physical and mental health greatly improved. This was due to the excellent care that he received from the wonderful staff at the home. This is a well-managed home full of dedicated, caring staff who create a homely atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The home is clean and tidy with a lovely quiet lounge for visits. There is a full activities programme for the residents. Visiting times are flexible but meal times are rightly protected. The administration process is very efficient. Sadly my dad passed away after a very short illness but I am pleased that he spent the last few months of his life in the care of the manager and her team. I thank all of them and would recommend this home to anyone looking to place a family member into care.
I cannot put into words how excellent this home is. The care they provide to my Nan is incredible. On every visit we are met with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff all have such a caring nature. Nothing is too much trouble. From the first day of my nan becoming a resident, the staff have supported her. The Home Manager is both professional and helpful. And also has the resident's needs at the centre of everything she does. Lots of activities and fundraising and plenty of days out. I would recommend this home to anybody.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The home itself is clean and well-presented (modern). It's very reassuring knowing mum is safe and well looked after.
My mum has been a resident of this home for a couple of months now. She is very happy with everything and feels comfortable and cared for. The staff are very helpful and caring and treat my mum and us, very well when we visit. It is very difficult when you have to send your parent to a care home and some are not too pleasant. This care home has been the best choice have have made. We couldn't ask for more only that our mum is happy and she tells us she is. So were are very happy with the Fazakerley House.
My mum was recently placed in Fazakerley House after a 10-week stay in hospital. I have been so pleased with how quickly she has settled in, it is a home from home. The staff are all lovely and very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The manager is professional and knows all the residents so well and lovely to see her with them. The home offered regular activities and outings which my mum joins in and has seen her so much brighter and engaging again. I would recommend this home.
My grandad has come on leaps and bounds since moving to this care home. All the carers take such good care of him, he’s always clean and well presented, his room is always tidy. On today’s visit I saw a massive improvement in grandad’s cognitive skills, he can now hold a conversation and his mobility has improved so much. I can only put it down to how well he’s being looked after. He was never a big eater but is now eating 3 good meals a day and says the food is lovely. I’m really happy with his care here and would recommend this home to anybody looking for somewhere for their loved ones.
