The home is clean - welcomed when I go there. Food is excellent, outstanding coffee cake when I go to the home. Always fresh and clean.

We visited my aunt along with several other family members to wish her well on her 97th birthday. On arrival we were offered tea or coffee which was a nice surprise. We were treated to a wonderful spread of food including savouries and cakes etc by the home/staff and were made to feel very welcome. Overall a lovely afternoon spending a few hours with her on her birthday and I'm sure she enjoyed it as much as us. Everyone involved deserves a big thank you.

Mum's 100th birthday, the spread was incredible and the cake and decorations were beautiful. (Sally you did a fantastic job with the food.)

Our overall experience at York House is very good. The carers are excellent and always available should we need help or advice. The only problem we have is how long we have to wait to be let in however we fully understand this is due to safety reasons.

It was my auntie's 100th birthday and family and friends all attended a little party gathering. The room was decorated very well and service and food was excellent.

We were invited to my aunt's 100th birthday. I must say everything was perfect. Staff so helpful, food excellent. A very enjoyable time.

Father-In-Law has been in York House for nearly 8 months now, and he really likes it there, and to know he likes being there, and is being looked after very well, gives us peace of mind. Thanks to everyone for all their care.

We are very happy with the care Dad receives. And the extra mile the staff go to help him. I can not fault the home, everyone is friendly and are always willing to help. I'm happy to know Dad's safe and happy.

Today I called in to see my friend & I was very impressed at how soon I was let in by a lovely aldy with a big smile, so always a good start, she took me to my friends room.

I have found York House to be a very caring and considerate home where my friend has fit in lovely and looks physically and is mentally thriving. All staff are really caring and there are many activities to stimulate him. The BBQ for friends and family recently was fantastic and a really lovely afternoon was had.

Despite ongoing safeguarding issues (now resolved), I am very impressed with the staff, management and care provided at York House. The support, patience and respect shown to my mother during this difficult period has been 1st class. Residents here are well cared for by an excellent team and I would definitively recommend this care home.

My wife said the care home was nice, staff caring but a bit rushed. Entertainment was unpleasantly loud for her.

I visit my friend on a regular basis and I have always been made welcome with a cup of coffee and biscuit. I have found the premises clean, the resident happy and well cared for. My friend is very happy and content living here.

My mother has been a resident of this care home since December and I cannot praise them enough for their support, care and patience during this time. She suffers with very bad anxiety and needs constant reassurance with this. The manager has been very supportive of her and makes every effort to reassure when she is like this. The rest of the staff are also always willing to assist her and encourage her in her day to day life. I am very impressed with daily entertainment which they all seem to enjoy and it makes the residents lifes more fulfilling. I would highly recommend this care home.

My mother is currently staying at York House,Dereham for the first time and we have been very impressed with what we have seen and experienced to date. The staff are excellent and attentive,the facilities are excellent and ,most importantly,Mum is happy.

What a wonderful place (home) for your parent they have really looked after my mum so well, she is clean. Room always clean tidy, food good and mum has gained weight and they have got her back.

I am visiting my mother-in-law and am very impressed at the facility. Everyone is patient, kind and very helpful. The building is beautiful and well maintained. I like that the residents can do as much or as little as they like. There are plenty of things to do should the residents want to. The food looks good, plenty of choice and the tea abounds. Thank you for taking such good care of this special lady.

A really great Christmas party. The food here is amazing, obviously a wonderful dedicated kitchen team. There are some really genuine caring staff in this home.
