Excellent facilities + activity schedules with a really very high standard of food. But what makes this care home really special is the staff. Always caring, attentive, happy and supportive, they make the home an enjoyable, relaxing and special place to be. Mum has been here for over 2 years and now
approaching 90 is in the best health she has enjoyed for years. The daily stimulation of exercise has worked wonders. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone.

Thank you so much to all the staff taking such good care of dad - especially during the norovirus outbreak which was not easy. And we couldn't see dad in this time - but coming back today I can see dad was in really good form and had been well looked after.

Pleasure to come into. Food looks good. I have eaten lunch at Rivermere, a roast dinner and it was Delicious, presented well on plate. Staff I find are caring to residents and the visitors. The lead concierge is pleasant and welcoming.

Fourteen years ago my brother came to live here, the "Sunrise" Two years ago I joined him, choosing an excellent apartment overlooking a delightful garden. Services had not regained pre Covid standards but were adequate. During my residency standards have further declined, poor dining room
experiences, activities of no appeal to me and too many minor inefficiencies for contented living. Management seem more concerned with appearances to visitors and inspection than customer satisfaction. Residents meetings do not serve the deaf and shy. No one from management or customer services talks regularly say six monthly to each resident, in the comfort of their own rooms, to gain impression of their living experiences and why if dissatisfied, they don't leave. My reason is my apartment, and the friendly staff, but the quality of service is most disappointing.

The staff are incredibly nice. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt so at home and so wonderfully welcomed. I was able to take part in some activities which was a lot of fun.
I had the privilege of eating lunch one of the days while visiting mum.
The food was absolutely delicious.
Thank you for making my visit with mum so amazing. I always look forward to visiting her in such a lovely welcoming care facility.

Rivermere provides a safe and comfortable environment for it's residents.
The staff are caring, the rooms clean and spacious, the public spaces open and invite.

We recently attended an Oktoberfest event at the care home with my father. The staff had clearly thought about what to offer on the day and were present. There was plenty of German food available which we enjoyed. I must add that we appreciate the care of my father by all the staff, is wonderful.

I was not looked forward to leaving my home but I was delighted to find how happy I was to have been staying at Rivermere! Everyone was so kind and caring and also helpful when I got lost! (leaving the lift on the wrong floor!)I had everything I might need in my room and all the food was really good
so meals were enjoyable. I didn't take part in many of the activities because it was lovely to have time to read my books!

I would single out the staff at Rivermere for mention - every member I have encountered has been warm, welcoming and gone out of their way to be helpful. When it comes down to it, what is more important in a care home than friendly faces?

All of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone knows my mum's name and she is treated well and with respect at all times. Great programme of entertainment. Thank you for taking care of my mum.

My sister-in-law lived at Rivermere for nine months until June of this year. Family and friends were all very impressed at how welcoming and friendly the Home felt when we visited. A lot of thought had gone into the decor, the bedrooms and lounges felt homely, and there was a good variety of
activities for residents to enjoy. We also noticed how kind, caring and patient staff were with all the residents. The Manager of the Meadow Floor and her staff were always very approachable and generous with their time when we had questions about how to respond to my sister-in-law's needs. We were therefore very sad when we had to move my sister-in-law to a nursing home because her dementia had deteriorated further. However, Rivermere's staff were helpful and supportive during this process.

On the whole, the staff are well trained and can be relied upon but more trained staff are required.
Is it possible? During ..... the staff cannot take a resident to the toilet and that is when accidents happen when a resident has to go alone. Unfortunately, one has to go when it's needed! One
can't eair! as you will know as you grow older.

Mum has a beautifully appointed apartment on the first floor with great views and a sunny aspect. It was important for her that she could furnish it with all of her own things to make it home from home. She has settled in well and enjoys the wide variety of activities and outings arranged, including
the extensive gardens, weather permitting, keep fit, crafting and musical afternoons to name but a few. There are lovely well kept communal areas throughout the home including a cinema, library, coffee shop and dining room which make it feel very special. Staff are very caring, helpful and there is a good homely atmosphere and vibe throughout with visitors always welcome at any time. Importantly she has the companionship and friendship of many other like-minded residents and has made some good friends. Residents are able to live as independently or not as needed which is a real plus. I cannot recommend Rivermere Care Home highly enough if you are looking for residential care for a loved one in the Sevenoaks area.

My mother has now been at Rivermere Care Home for nearly 3 years. She always says that she is very happy there. She thinks the staff are wonderful, and she appreciates their friendly and caring manner. Whenever I come to the Home, I am also impressed with their caring attitude toward all the
residents.
I have lunch occasionally at Rivermere with my mother and have enjoyed the choices available. They are all very tasty and beautifully cooked.

My mother and father entered Rivermere Care Home in May 2022 and shared a room until my mother died on Christmas Eve 2024. My father then moved into a smaller room, but still on the ground floor with a view of the garden. Over Christmas my wife and I went over to Rivermere for a very good lunch with
my father on Christmas Day and again on New Year's Day. My sister and her husband joined my father for another good lunch on Boxing Day. It is good to be able to join residents on special occasions such as these.
The staff and facilities are very good and treat my father with the dignity that a 97 year old deserves.
There are regular quarterly meetings held by management with the residents and then later that day with relatives. These meetings keep residents and relatives abreast of issues in the home and forthcoming developments. They also allow residents and relatives to raise any issues or concerns with the running of the home.

Caring attentive staff in a superb facility with lovely gardens and an excellent atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the helpful carers and other support staff who provide a wealth of activities to keep mind and body in good shape.

Rivermere Care Home is where my 91-year-old dad is currently. He had a traumatic year last year and my sister and I decided it was time for him to be safe in a home. We went to see a few but this one I loved from the moment I walked in. A beautiful big open welcome reception.. with extremely
friendly and competent receptionists. It's warm, smells lovely and he is very well looked after. If we have had any concerns, these are dealt with really quickly and professionally. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!
