Staff are very nice to me. I can have a laugh with everybody.

Watching one of your parents decline is very emotional. You are trying to do the right thing for them, but what is the right thing? My father was cantankerous, opinionated and for most of the time in Roebuck, he was able to voice his own needs and wants. Even when he was cantankerous and became hard
to work with, the staff didn't even moan but just got on with it. He was doubly incontinent and this year needed feeding and they just did it. They treated like a good friend, watched out for his wellbeing and just looked after him. At the end, their expertise made it much easier - THANK YOU.

My dad spent the last 17 months of his life at Roebuck. We received care at the highest level. Every member of staff treated him with the utmost respect and care, ensuring his dignity and respect at all times. Us as visitors, were always greeted with a smile. Communication was always timely. As a
family, we would highly recommend Roebuck.

My mother was admitted into Roebuck Nursing Home in May 2025, under Palliative care from Hospital. My Mum has advanced Alzheimer's & cancer, she is well cared for within Roebuck. The staff have all been so caring, friendly, empathetic to mum's needs. Whenever I have approached a member of staff
they have always been attentive, always willing to help & are professional in their manner. I am always greeted from the lovely lady at reception, Christina is always happy to see me when I enter the building to visit my mum, which is daily. The staff are attentive to mum, she is always clean, tidy & dressed very well. Mum enjoys the activities with the lovely Kim & Carly. The staff have always informed me of any changes to the care for mum, whether it's down to her eating, how she is with her demeanour. I have total peace of mind with the care received at Roebuck I know Mum is being well taken care of by all the lovely carers & she is safe in the Home. Thank you from us all!

My brother has been a resident at Roebuck Nursing Home since early July 2025, being transferred from hospital. My brother has severe dementia and now needs 24 hour nursing care. My wife and I were very careful in choosing which nursing home for my brother, and we have not been disappointed with our
choice of Roebuck Nursing Home. From the welcoming smile and professionalism on reception, the nurses, carers, management and ancillary staff, all of which are polite, always have a smile and are ready to discuss any questions you may have. The nursing care for my brother has been second to none. Anyone who has had close experience with someone who has dementia, will know how difficult it is. Nothing phases the nursing staff, and they are always quick to reassure family when visiting. The care is professional and dignified. Lastly the food. We visit most days, and I have yet to see any meal that is not to restaurant standard. I cannot recommend Roebuck Nursing Home high enough.

My husband was admitted to Roebuck Nursing Home in early November 2024, after several hospital admissions and carers at home. He has Vascular Dementia and Altzhiemers and is bedbound and reliant on others for all his needs. The staff here are all very kind and respectful, both of my husband and
myself. My husband was very agitated and was attempting to get out of his bed constantly when he first arrived. Staff explained to me how they would deal with his behaviour and the time scale they believed it would take, and almost to the day he was safe and secure in his bed. His room is lovely with one very large window looking out to trees and the sky, and one other window again with views of greenery. He has a en-suite shower room which is always clean and fresh, as is his bedroom. The food is excellent, and served on China plates and dishes, and the menu is varied with many choices. I couldn't be happier with our choice of residential nursing home.

My father initially went into the Roebuck for short-stay rehabilitation, however had to be readmitted to the hospital and it was decided he needed long-term nursing home care, I was adamant that I wanted him to go back to Roebuck and they welcomed him. He has always been treated with great care,
respect, and kindness. He always looks clean and tidy thus excellent personal care is given, the food he is served is good food and I'm always kept well informed by the caring staff if any issues occur.

My brother was transferred from hospital to Roebuck Court nursing home on the third week of July 2024, he is at the 'end of life '.
The care and devotion are 100%, the food is better than the Ritz, if he is hungry he can have a second helping of dinner and pudding. (the other Sunday he must have
had half the cow on his plate) All the staff are welcoming and friendly and really do listen to what you have to say, they shower my brother on Mondays and Thursdays as I asked. If you have a concern and talk to the head nurse she gives you her utmost attention. I laugh with the nurses and carers as the doors are open, they say hello and then knock on the door, I take my small dog with me as she is my therapy dog, when they knock she barks, some now enter and say to her 'I didn't knock'. My dog also goes around the ground floor and has cuddles with the residents who like to hold her, she brings joy to most of them. I truly cannot find fault with Roebuck Court which came highly recommended to me.

I have nothing but praise, admiration and gratitude for all at Roebuck Nursing home. They have treated my mother with respect, humility and the utmost gentleness and care throughout, even though at times it can be a very difficult and challenging job. Also they have always shown me the very best of
human kindness. they are helpful, obliging, compassionate and very respectful, displaying patience and tolerance in sometimes very difficult and delicate situations. We could not have had a better experience.

I feel that it's excellent with the whole service, the carers, staff and nurses are all very good at their jobs. I would give them 20/20 if I could. Thanks.

My brother has always been treated very well by all of the staff, nurses and carers. The management have been very helpful when I have reported a problem too. Overall, I think the home gives good care and accommodation and is good value for the money that we pay for.

Mum was well looked after at Roebuck and the food and attention was fine. Mum does not have dementia and she was concerned about the large number of dementia patients there but there is nothing that can be done about that given the average age of residents.
We only wanted Mum moved to be closer to
the family. Most of us are in the local area and a trek to a different area puts the visit times at about 3 hours in total. Roebuck is so much closer.
23 November 2023
So far Mum's care has been outstanding. The staff are all very kind and caring. Only one member of staff has been, how can I say, abrupt. They have all gone out of their way to work around us and Mum as a family to fulfill her needs. I would recommend Roebuck Nursing Home to anyone and everyone.
Food choices and quality are great.

From 2011/2021, we visited three homes in the East Midlands for a close relative. If we had to compare them against the Roebuck Nursing Home the Roebuck would come out on top of the four homes. We have no issues with the home and thank them for all their hard work and dedication.
Thank you.

All the staff are welcoming. They all provide good care to my aunt and she feels at home.
My aunt has made good improvements since being at the home. It is a weight off my mind knowing she is safe and well cared for.
She comments on the nice food. It sounds like a lot of fun activities are
available and she is encouraged to join in.

You have made my nephew very comfortable and cared for him very well. Regrettably, I cannot attend in person currently due to my own ongoing health issues but rely on reports back from his father and stepmother. These indicate that he is doing well despite his many health problems. Please accept my
thanks on behalf of his family.

Thank you to all the nurses, caregivers and the admin staff for your dedication, hard work, love and compassion towards my brother and the residents. You all are doing an excellent job. The staff are very kind, compassionate, dedicated and loving. Words are not enough to express my gratitude. May
God bless all of them. Thank you, once again, for the amazing work.

My eighty-seven year old father was in the Roebuck for three weeks of respite care, following three weeks in hospital after a fall. He has received high quality care in all respects and returns home in a strong position. Many thanks to the team.
