I cannot praise Claremont Court enough, each department excels. Their understanding of Dementia and therefore the support their residents need (and relatives of those residents) cannot be underestimated. Knowing mum is safe, treated with dignity and respect, is well cared for and content in her
home is all our family could hope for.
Having had experience of other nursing homes, I can confidently and honestly say that Claremont Court is best in class.

My mother's needs are met and her views respected. She is safe and content and is treated with much care, love and dignity. The staff greet relatives like friends and in fact all staff have become part of an extended family.

My husband moved to Claremont after a previous placement was unsuitable. Claremont have overcome previous difficulties and found the correct medication and social treatment which has made him happy and more settled in the environment.
20 April 2026
My brother has received a consistently high level of care at Claremont Court over the past few years delivered with empathy and compassion .The home is well organised and staff are attentive and friendly .The team put a lot of effort to make all aspects of care and activities fun and accessible.

Mum moved to Claremont Court in January with all the typical challenging quirks of dementia. Sadly, she endured being moved in and out of two previous care homes as they were unable to meet her needs. Claremont Court took every one of her challenging behaviours in their stride - they invested time
to learn about Mum's likes, dislikes and triggers. Vitally, every carer knows to adjust THEIR responses rather than expecting an elderly lady with dementia to adjust HERS. They have monitored and altered Mum's medication (actually reducing some medication which the previous home had ramped up in order to make Mum easier for them to look after).
Visiting Mum has become less stressful, it used to be distressing for her and me. I am safe in the knowledge that I can trust Claremont Court with her care. On good days, I even manage to catch glimpses of my dear old Mum as I used to know her.

Claremont court was recommended to us by a friend, making the decision to put my mother into a home was very difficult but the home manager and her staff made us feel very confidant that we were making the right decision.
They are so kind and caring and provide such a high level of care that we
don't worry about mum now, we know she is looked after and supported but also still encouraged to participate in the huge amount of activities that the home organises.
What has struck all of my family is that whatever time of day you go and visit, every staff member from the nurses to the cleaners to the hairdresser know who mum is and where she is.
As mums health declines we are constantly kept up to date with doctors visits and new care plans or strategies.
The home is always spotless and well maintained and there is always music on or an activity to join. It is a lovely place to be with mum.

My Mum is very well loved and cared for. I really couldn't ask for more. I know she is safe and content. The staff treat all the residents with so much love, care and dignity. They make me and my family feel so welcome. I really can't praise Claremont highly enough.

My mum started living at Claremont in August 2025.
It is a very difficult decision to make putting a relative in a home. Difficult knowing when is the best time and where is the best place. I feel after 3 months I can reflect.
I have nothing but the highest praise for Claremont. From day one (
in fact before day 1 as Karen visited mum in hospital) the care and respect shown to my mum and myself has been outstanding. I visit a few times a week so I see the warmth and enthusiasm that all the staff exude all the time. I have complete peace of mind that mum is safe, content and happy. I feel she has a new lease of life.

My wife arrived at Claremont in April 2024, having transferred from a care home who were unable to provide the required level of care.
It is immediately obvious that Claremont offers and delivers something special to their residents. In addition, they realise the importance of keeping the resident's
family fully informed of all aspects relating to the individual's care.
Medical issues receive prompt attention and the necessary action.
On every visit to Claremont, you are aware of and witness the care and kindness shown by all the staff towards every resident. Family and visiting friends remark on the dedicated care so professionally provided, always with a smile.
I and my family, are so fortunate to have found Claremont and so, so, relieved to know that my wife is receiving and benefiting from the exceptional care provided.
We are fortunate to have the support of our immediate and extended family and friends. We consider all at Claremont friends and part of that extended family.

I cannot rate Claremont Court high enough. Having had experience with other care homes for my mother - this one is outstanding. All the staff treat each resident with kindness and dignity - I cannot thank them enough!

My father has been living at Claremont Court for almost 2 years now. His care has always been excellent and it's evolving as his condition changes which is because the team always monitor him and adapt his needs, activities and medication as necessary. The therapy really helps with his Parkinsons
and he always enjoys the special days such as the Summer Fair. Everything is above and beyond expectations.

My dad had very demanding needs and challenging behaviour when he first moved here from another care home. Since then he is calm, settled and happy. You can see that he is very well cared for. The staff are all amazing! They are extremely friendly, caring, professional, gentle, patient and lovely
individuals. The home is great but it's the staff that truly make it amazing.

I can't praise the Claremont team highly enough. My mother-in-law sadly died after a short stay in the home. During her time she was treated with compassion, dignity and attentiveness to her needs. As a family, we were regularly updated about her condition. After she died, her three daughters and
we husbands were allocated the Family Room , undisturbed, for as long as we needed. Staff briefed us clearly and kindly on the necessary steps. All staff smiled and greeted whenever we met. The home was nicely decorated, the rooms fine and great thought put into the stimulation of the residents. We were so pleased she ended her life in this peaceful and calming environment.

Claremont Court provides the most wonderful warm atmosphere. Its something that I am aware of every visit and it is something that all the friends and relatives comment on.
Each staff member addresses us by name, shares a greeting and a little chat.
The care and kindness shown to my husband is
absolutely exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble in their care for my husband and they are so tactful as he dislikes needing help from them.
The activities team use encouragement for my husband to participate with the activites and Namaste is such a positive thing.
The relatives all know how very difficult it is to look after people with dementia which is such a cruel disease.
I think we all feel so personally supported by both the staff and the management team.

My brother moved to Claremont Court back in December 2024 and throughout this time the care he has received has been excellent.
My brother is not the easiest resident - he has significant learning difficulties, dementia and cannot communicate in any way - but the team at Claremont treat him with
respect and care. And, no matter how much fuss he makes when he is receiving personal care, they always provide this with kindness. Moreover, the staff are fully aware that my brother is resistant to personal care, so two carers turn up to help him and get his changed and clean in a prompt and highly efficient way.
I have also been impressed with the way that they spot things like UTI's and get him treated and they way that they are able to ensure that he always takes his medicine, Prior to Claremont he was at another home, where the care was poor, resulting is missed medication which resulted in seizures and stays in hospital.
In short, I highly recommend Claremont Court.

We have been really impressed with the excellent care from everybody....Everyone has taken so much trouble to settle my mother in to Claremont and she couldn't be in a better place. A very bright, positive atmosphere with a lot going on and excellent spaces both inside and outside.
29 July 2025
My mother has been very well cared for at Claremont Court for more than three years. She was able to enjoy her birthday activity in October 2024, despite being very frail. Unfortunately, she can no longer take part in activities and is completely bed bound. The staff are kind and helpful and very
professional in their dealings with the residents and their families. My family and friends who have visited all comment on what a lovely place Claremont Court is, with a lovely atmosphere.
28 July 2025
Friendly, helpful, caring staff working together as a team. Plenty of smiles! Management staff approachable and happy to discuss any general issues. Regular visits by GP who, together with nursing staff, keep us informed of any developments.
When selecting Claremont Court, we were advised the aim
was to make residents feel, as far as possible, like being at home. Not by chance, they achieve this in full measure.
14 April 2025
Dad has been so happy at Claremont Court. Staff are caring, kind and respectful of all residents taking the time to get to know them and it feels like one big, happy family. Dad is supported to join in activities when he wants to, allowed to make his own choices about those he doesn't and clearly
loves the staff - they get a bigger smile than I do! They know his interests and preferences and support these. The staff have also been so kind and supportive of us, his family. I could not have asked for a better home for dad.
11 April 2025
The carers treat the residents with great respect and kindness at all times, the atmosphere is friendly. It seems to me that great care is taken to make residents' lives as fulfilled and meaningful as possible even though many suffer from difficult symptoms of advanced dementia. I love the way
carers smile, wave and say hello to my mother by name as she endlessly walks up and down the corridors. She responds positively and tells me often that she doesn't know who tbe people are that walk up and down but that they are friendly and kind to her. I doubt I could easily find another home where my mother's difficult needs could be so well met.
