My mother is being cared for with the most professional and kind staff who understand her challenges and respect her wishes and keep her dignity.
I cannot express how grateful her family are to see her so happy given how frustrated she sometimes gets with everyday life.
Staff are the key
ingredient but facilities are excellent and the variety of activities keep her mind alert and mixing with other residents also helps her disposition.

Staff are friendly, and helpful. They treat Mum well and encourage her to participate in activities, and are aware of her daily needs, and make sure any changes in her health are addressed. They assist us in keeping in touch as we live out of country, and inform us of of any changes.

Mum is a new resident but from the outset she has been welcomed and cared for by all the staff who are patient and caring. They are thoughtful and treat Mum with dignity at all times. Mum has been encouraged to get involved and she's happy and making friends. There is a marked improvement in Mum's
physical and mental health. The food and facilities are excellent. All the staff are helpful and kind. We've had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Prestbury House.

Everyone here not only gives excellent care to residents, but make family and friends feel at home. Each person is treated as an invidual and staff treat them very well. No task or request seems to much trouble. It doesnt feel like a care home, not institutional, more like a comfy hotel. Everyone is
so patient and if there isn't something on the menu that Mum facnies, the kitchen staff always accomodate. I highly recommend.

The home provided an excellent place for Jane to recover from her hip operation. The outstanding factor in our visit was the staff. They were friendly and very supportive. Staff were flexible and understanding, which created a good atmosphere. We did not make use of many of the facilities and
activities but they all looked very good. Thank you very much.

Staff are professional but very caring with my mother
They encourage mum to try the activities but are respectful of her wishes
Staff make time to chat with my mum & have taken interest in her family photos
Little things like toping up the water in her flowers are appreciated

I was apprehensive when I transferred here from hosputal but soon felt very welcome and safe. The staff have all been very kind, friendly and supportive. Nothing has been too much trouble. Thank you for all your assistance.

We have been so pleased with the care my mum has received. Nothing is too much trouble. We are always kept updated on her health and emotional needs. All the staff are friendly and approachable. Highly recommend Prestbury House.

The team at Prestbury House have been so wonderful to engage with and always cared for mum with such professionalism and dignity. We could not ask for more and will always be grateful for the love and compassion shown to both our mum and us as a family.

My friend has been at Prestbury House now for over 12 months and I am over the moon with the care and attention she is receiving. She is engaged in activities and loves the food! The staff go above and beyond, and we couldn't be happier

I visited yesterday my friend on the ground floor we had a coffee and biscuit in the bistro always welcomed
Whilst visiting there were a mother and daughter enjoying a coffee who explained mum was a respite stay last year and still comes to visit the staff and have a coffee as it is such a
positive home who helped her at a bad time last year
That just confirmed my friend off 50 years is in the est care home in macclesfield looked after with dignity a
Love and care
That means the world

Although this care home is very modern and always kept clean & tidy I feel there are several areas that need attention these include:
There isn;t always senior staff on duty on floor 1 particularly at the weekend, which is a security concern. I feel the desk there should always be manned.
Activities seem largely constrained to Mon-Fri with not much going on at the weekends for patients.
I think the rooms are drab and could be improved even something as simple as the hanging of one large print.
Quite often food is left to go stale in the rooms which hints of staff shortages.
On the plus side I was pleased to see some gardening work had been undertaken to spruce up the main entrance. Also the carers there do seem very nice and are always helpful when asked,

Prestbury House care home has provided excellent standards of accommodation, facilities and very caring and competent staff throughout my stay there. I am pleased to recommend them highly accordingly. However I have some concern that adequate car parking may be available at busy time, but this may
not be a problem.

In the 8 years my mum was a resident in general we've been happy with the overall service. The outstanding aspect has been the individual care workers who have been amazing. They've offered support, that suggests it's more than a job. The management has been a continued revolving door, with many of
the managers being invisible, and purely interested in the bottom line.

My mother has been a resident in Prestbury House for nearly two years. I have nothing but praise for everybody that works there. The kindness, support and care shown to my mum and myself has always been superb. Nothing is too much trouble, and all staff are always prepared to go the extra mile! So

My auntie has been at Prestbury House since 2023 and has been looked after superbly. Each time I visit the staff make sure to keep me updated. They care for her with respect and dignity. And the home is beautifully looked after and the staff are very nice.

My Mother-in-Law had respite care at Prestbury House and she had a fantastic experience. Especially the food! It gave her the perfect environment. The staff were all brilliant and helped her throughout.
