Carers and all staff are always welcoming, smiling, and very professional. It's a pleasure to visit and I consider them my 2nd family. They have made this a home from home for my friend. I cannot thank them enough.

When I heard that Mum was going to need the support of a residential home I was worried that her worst fears were about to come true. Neither of us could have been more wrong and we found an incredibly friendly and supportive environment at the Aveland Court. The team were approachable and caring at every level, welcoming and flexible with visiting hours and sensitive to individual needs. The daily activities provided along with regular entertainment slots really boosted Mum's sense well being and all the residents clearly looked forward to joining in the fun. She did so well there that after a few months she was able to return to her own home. I think that she really needed the structure and stimulation after so many years of living alone. Knowing that Mum was getting regular meals and receiving her medication in a timely manner was very reassuring for me especially. Above all she was safe and secure and I hope that if the need arose she would be able to stay there again.

The staff are all very good and treat Mum with dignity and compassion. Overall care is excellent. The rooms etc could do with being updated. The food is good! Mum is happy here, which is most important and they make me feel very welcome as a visitor!

My Mum has not been at Aveland Court long and has taken a long time to settle in but with the care and attention from management and staff, I have recently seen a huge improvement. The staff gives time up to sit and chat with her making sure she has all she needs and is happy. I have a huge sense of relief knowing Mum is now being well cared for and not at home at risk.

Since my Mum came to Aveland Court, she has been more settled and happy than in previous places. The staff are all kind, and caring and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have helped my Mum settle so well into the home and made her room feel like a safe space that's her own and also decorated it in colours my Mm had chosen. There is always something to keep my Mum entertained such as days out, activities, and live entertainment. Aveland Court is an amazing place that feels more like a family rather than a care home. This home was most definitely the right decision we could have made for Mum.

My mother was very well cared for whilst having respite care. She regained her strength and motivation with the support of everyone who works at Aveland Court. If ever she needed to return to a care home this would be her first choice. Thank you!

Cannot be faulted. The staff are polite, efficient, cannot be too helpful and very cheerful. The food is also first-class. The managers, the staff and the cooks cannot be faulted.

My mother feels well cared for and safe. The staff are very supportive to my mother's neds. Any concerns I have about my mother, the staff are always willing to listen and act as necessary. There are always lots of activities, although my mother does not wish to take part.

Our mum was taken to Aveland Court after leaving the hospital but was not able to return home because she was not fit and home needed things done so she could cope. The staff were all really nice and very kind, and their caring was so good. She has not returned home, and we are very happy with all that was done for our mum.

Aveland Court is an outstanding care home. Every member of it's staff shows love and affection and nothing is too much trouble. Aveland Court is spotlessly clean, the meals provided are wholesome, fresh and beautifully cooked. My mother's room is light and spacious and has her own pictures and ornaments around her. There are daily activities like gentle exercise, a singer, pet visitors (very much appreciated by my mum), bingo, arts and crafts and much more. It's created a new happy chapter of Mum's life. She is happy and so am I. Feel so happy to have found Aveland Court.

This is a first-rate home. From the minute my mum was admitted, the service and welcome have been excellent. The staff are so kind, and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this home.

I cannot fault the care received by my mum here, for respite care. All the staff are very welcoming and caring. An experience we were very worried about but it was a truly caring home from home.

I want to say a big thank you to Aveland Court staff for a lovely Easter Party for family, friends and residents. It was lovely to see so many people and lots of children joining in with the well thought out activities. There was live music, games, an egg hunt and a fantastic buffet. All staff and Management work hard to give the best of personal care to each resident and also make you as the family feel welcome. My dad has been here 6 months and he is very happy nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this care home to all. Thank you

The manager and the team here are all wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are kind, caring and patient. I will take home(as here for rehab), many beautiful moments of their love and care. As a vegetarian, my food was chosen with care by the kitchen staff.

The staff at Aveland Court have shown great care, compassion, and kindness to myself and my husband over the past couple of months which have been very difficult for us both. I cannot compliment them enough, they do a difficult job with smiles on their faces. Thank you so so much. The home was found for us by the hospital and I was nervous as the 'official' rating was not excellent but the reviews made me think it was worth a try. I am so pleased that my husband spent the last couple of months of his life with such a loving team.

My dad recently suffered a problem that left him almost completely blind. This, with the associated psychological trauma, was overwhelming to all of us, but obviously to him in particular. His emotional state improved almost immediately since coming to Aveland Court and he is overall much happier. The whole of the staff here are amazing. They are unfailingly kind, and some of them will even pop in to see him as soon as they arrive at work, or before they leave, as well as finding time to pop in and out to chat with him throughout the day. He is surrounded by new friends who care for him and as a result, he is happier and more settled than he had been for some time. I cannot recommend Aveland Court highly enough. I didn't believe that this type of excellent care existed anymore.
