They was a nice lady called Sharon she come to the hospital QE, when I was taken in my friend he calls me brother. Went into Springfield care. They was very good with him looked after him very well. So I didn't have to worry about him. Couldn't have been better with him thank you and god bless all
the staff. And a very merry Christmas and happy new year.

My mother has been a Springfield House for more than 3 years. The care home staff members have been wonderful throughout this period and the level of personal support given to my mum has been exceptional - and delivered with sensitivity, professionalism and a warm smile. Not once has my mum
expressed any dissatisfaction with any aspect of her care.
The nursing staff members are excellent and keep me updated with any changes in mum's medications. Furthermore, they arrange meetings with the visiting doctor, as needed, to coincide with my frequent visits to the UK.
Springfield's facilities are generally excellent although I would like to see more frequent cleaning of the carpets in residents' rooms. I appreciate that the staff are often thinly stretched so can understand why some tasks aren't addressed as often as I'd hope.
Overall, I'm very happy that mum is in the care of a highly professional and caring staff at Springfield.

I am confident that my mum is well looked after in Springfield House. The carers are friendly, kind and good humoured, and if she is unwell, the senior carers do an excellent job following up any medical needs and keep me fully informed.
The food is plentiful, and the environment is clean and
really nice. It's lovely to see the smile on the faces of the residents at some of the activities and parties.
All the other staff are really friendly and approachable & the admin staff are very efficient. There have been times when it has been necessary to use agency staff, but I understand that more staff have now been recruited. Overall, I'm happy with the care my mum receives. Thankyou.

My nanna is currently a patient at Springfield house, from walking in the entrance to the level of quality of the rooms is just fantastic, the level of care each patient receives is unbelievable and I personally can not wait to be a part of this wonderful team/carehome

My mam has now been a Grace resident for 1 year and recently had a bout of illness. The staff were absolutely incredible both with my mam and with our family. We felt supported and trusted that they had her best interests at heart. I just can't thank them enough and I would like to especially thank
Sharon and Gillian for their hard work getting mam back to a healthier place.

My mam was in respite for 8 days while my husband and myself were on holiday. She was in Highcliffe when the car went into the home and she was relocated to Springfield house in Low Fell.
The staff here were amazing!!!
I wish it was closer to Sunderland and I would definitely use it again for
respite

My parents-in-law have been in Springfield house for a year and the care and attention they receive is exceptional! It's unlike other care homes. It's beautiful inside. Decorated and furnished to the highest standard. All the staff are so very friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble. The
peace of mind that they are safe, happy and well cared for is so important to the family. I would fully recommend Springfield to anyone looking for care for their family.

Since my mam was admitted to Springfield she has had nothing but excellent care and attention from all members of staff, her room is very clean and tidy. Mam's meals are always varied which she thoroughly enjoys, and we feel so much more relaxed knowing she is in a safe environment, she enjoys her
trips out which is an added bonus, we can't praise this home enough.

Myself and my wife have found that the care given to our relative has been amazing. He has gone from waiting for carers to go out to his home three times a day and sitting alone for the rest of the day to having 24 hour care. He has a new lease of life, loves the topics of entertainment and has made
a lot of new friends, including the carers. This has been beneficial to our family as this stress on the worry of caring for our relative, juggling childcare for grandchildren, work etc has now been taken away. Thank you.

Very excellent, the staff are all amazing offering help and support where needed. The help we have received has been second to none. Two staff members in particular have both been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I cannot thank them enough for all the care they have shown to my uncle. Top marks.

My wife has been a resident at Springfield House since 9 October 2023.
Her care, wellbeing and encouragement to participate in activities have been exemplary. From all levels of staff there is an ethos of kindness, caring and thoughtfulness. When we go out to family "get together," they always
ensure my wife's appearance is smart and activity ask her if she had an enjoyable day, what was she doing, had to eat and any special reason for going out. Our family's appreciation of the effort made and knowing she is being well looked after gives us assurance during a difficult family time.

Fantastic care provided, very caring staff that go above and beyond, lots of activites covering everyone's needs. Fantastic food and drink. Springfield House is well run by a strong management team, this gives me total confidence my relative is safe, secure and well looked after.

We all are so happy my grandma has been put in a home as good as this one. We feel so safe and secure knowing she is so well looked after. The home itself is immaculate. The staff are fantastic.

I have a lot of issues with Springfield House, short-staffed day and night, meals are not nutritious. My mom does not like them at all. Staff that cannot be understood by the elderly. (Quite a language barrier). Mum waited an hour and a half for the toilet. (Understaffed). Supposed to take two staff
and stand aid, usually only one. Left all night in her vomit with no emergency buzzer as no one checked on her until the morning. This is supposed to have been looked into by the manager and I feel it's all been covered up.

Staff very friendly always seem pleasant and smile and greet you when you come in to visit and answer any questions you have and seem to go out of there way to help the residents always something on for residents to get involved in like exercises class singers coffee mornings etc

The staff at Springfield House are an absolute credit to providing care to those who need it the most. Nothing is ever too much to ask and their jobs are carried out with professionalism, care and love. I'm so grateful to all the staff. From the minute you enter, everyone is courteous and kind.
Additionally provides support to all family members. A massive heartfelt thank you.

I continue to be happy with the care my mum receives. The staff who deliver the actual care and support to my mum in particular are very good. Many are excellent. If I had a criticism at all, it would be with a feeling of loss of morale with the care and cleaning staff of late. It is my opinion that
they need to be valued by senior management and retained. They are the ones who I feel need to be commended.
