Hillview are amazing! My mum moved here in September 2025 with a reluctance to move from her home and area. But from her initial meeting with the staff she is living her best life after a tough few years. The settling in period was managed very well and she was made to feel so welcome.
I cannot
fault the staff, they treat my mum like she is family and continue to keep her independent. Everyone is friendly and attentive when I have any questions and they always have the time to help.
Thank you Hillview for providing a safe home for my mum.

Could not ask for anymore from my Dads care home.
Dad is well looked after as a family we have no worries.
Staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly.

My mother arrived at Hillview in January this year after a difficult period in hospital, unable to walk and in need of significant support. From the moment she was welcomed, the staff showed exceptional compassion, professionalism and dedication to her recovery.
Thanks to their attentive care and
encouragement she has made remarkable progress - she's now walking again and even dancing in some of the activities!
The team's commitment to her physical rehabilitation and wellbeing (mum has Alzheimer's) has been truly inspiring. She's also found real joy in the home's activities, which are thoughtfully planned and inclusive. Whether it's group events, creative sessions or gentle exercise, she's engaged, smiling and thriving in ways we hadn't seen for months.
We're deeply grateful to everyone at Hillview for creating such a positive, nurturing environment. It's not just a place of care - it's a place of hope and renewal.

Exceptional.
Mum has been living at Hillview for 6 months and she is so happy.
The staff are absolutely fantastic, the food superb and Mum is kept busy with the fantastic events and entertainment they provide. Any worries are delt with immediately with understanding and kindness.
I honestly
could not think of a better care home for Mum and it's so reassuring to know she so very well looked after .

Our mum June was a resident at hillview previously but moved back from the Chadwick in September 2023 after it was refurbished.. the care and understanding in this home is second to none,
Made our mum a very happy lady, enjoying activities and lovely nutritious food available every meal time ..the
manager is professional but caring and her staff are very special people .. unfortunately mum passed recently the care and empathy in mum last weeks/:days was outstanding the support was fantastic at such a difficult time We thank seven members of staff in particular for all their support and empathy you are all very special people .

Great people giving fantastic care at a time when people are at their most vulnerable. Their kindness, patience and care was second to none. Sam, Monika and all the staff could not have been more welcoming and could not do enough for mum and us, at a time when we had a great deal going on. Mum
settled in very quickly and was made to feel like a human being as opposed to just another resident. We could not recommend the staff and Hillview Care Home enough. Thanks for all you did.

My mother is totally happy at Hillview Care Home. She has all her needs met and enjoys banter with the carers which is good to see her laugh and them also. She is safe, secure, fed well and comfortable. We feel very comforted that she is cared for in this way. Thank you.

Staff always available for updates on me Dad always greet you with a smile and give you confidence that the care is outstanding. The facilities for residents and visitors are quite high, everything in communal areas and residents' rooms are very clean and tidy.

The staff at this brand new home are simply amazing and really care about the residents. My aunt is very happy and content. All her needs are catered for, and I go to bed at night knowing she is well cared for.

Hillview has proved to be an excellent choice as a care home by my sister, brother and me.
Mum has settled well. The staff are all very aware of Mum's needs and accommodate her requests at all times.
They are all so very caring and always find time to chat to Mum.

This is a professional, highly caring, home.
The staff, led by the manager, are kind and thoughtful. Clearly, fully trained in meeting the client's individual needs encouraging each client to achieve their maximum potential in enjoying life.

My husband was very happy at Hillview lovely slow quiet atmosphere which he found helpful, as he can be upset by too much noise and activity, all carers were just lovely with him especially one member of staff in particular thank you all staff your care I felt happy leaving my husband in your care.

My mum went into Hillview in March 2024 and I am so delighted with the care she is receiving. She is looked after so well and she also looks so well. Everywhere is so clean and bright. Her room is lovely and the lounges are really comfortable and jolly. The staff are fantastic and really care and
they are fun! and they treat them with respect which is important.
Mum has her hair done every week and her nails which she loves. Although she has dementia she seems settled and happy which is the most important. There are lots of activities to join in if you want to which they seem to enjoy. The food is tasty and they have a choice which is good. The staff cannot do enough so thank you. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Dad moved into Hillview in November 2023, having spent a year in another care home. The difference is night and day! All the staff always put his needs first, nothing is too much trouble for them and his being there has literally given me my father back. When making the arrangements for him to move
in, I was told that they aimed not only to look after Dad but also to take the worry and stress away from his family. They have gone above and beyond to meet both aims. I cannot recommend Hillview highly enough. Thank you to you all.

Absolutely blown away by this care home, my mother has challenging behaviour brought on by dementia and the staff are so kind and knowledgeable with her care. The facilities are like a 4* hotel. Cinema lounges, hairdressing and nail salon and her room is lovely.

Mum is very frail and in poor health. I cannot fault the compassionate and loving care she receives from staff at all levels. Hillview Care Home exudes a warm and caring atmosphere that is evidently a true reflection of its ethos. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give to Mum.

The Hillview staff are so incredibly kind and attentive in their care of our dear mum. We always feel confident knowing that our mum’s wellbeing is at the heart of the home’s ethics. From the care staff right up to management, we are so very grateful to each and every staff member. Where, at times,
we’ve had a concern or question about Mum’s care, it has always been handled with professionalism, respect and understanding. I have nothing but great things to say about Hillview, from my time to talking to the manager and assistant manager about Mum's needs and care to the quality of the support she has received so far.
They are so responsive with any changes in her needs as Mum can be very sensitive, it’s impressive.
A special shout out to the assistant manager who has been caring and gentle with Mum with anything she needs along with all the staff.

My mother started her residency in November 2022 at a previous B&M facility. My first point of contact was the manager whose empathy, professionalism and reassurance was nothing more than outstanding. My mother settled very quickly, the staff including the manager and many others spent so much time
with her to make her feel welcome and adjusted to her new home. Mum's weight within the year went up a stone and she has never looked so well. In September this year residents and most staff moved to a beautiful new building Hillview. We were blown away with the facilities and amazing rooms. Once again Mum settled very quickly. The food is lovely and fresh and the chef liaises with Mum and residents daily. The activities are stimulating, often celebrating various events especially the residents' birthdays. All needs are catered for with regular updates. The communication between staff, residents and families is very engaging and informative. Thank you all at Hillview.

Mum was one of the residents who moved from another care home. The move went without any problems and Mum settled into her new home very well.
The home is beautiful, the atmosphere is soothing the staff are brilliant, very caring and well-informed.
We couldn't ask for anything more for Mum's
care, she's very happy here.
