Thank you to all the staff for caring for our parents and giving us peace of mind. I would highly recommend Hillview.
Thank you for leaving such a positive review. We are delighted you would recommend Hillview to anyone needing care. Thank you once again.
My Mum moved in to Hillview at the beginning of February following a stay in hospital where she lost a lot of mobility and strength. I knew Hillview would be the right place for her following my visit as I was greeted by friendly helpful staff with a homely feel. I was right as Mum quickly settled in with the help and reassurance not only to her but also to myself. The staff encourage her to keep her independence and as far as possible make it like her home. Her health improved quickly. Nothing is too much trouble in helping her with all aspects of living in the home and I would like to thank ALL the staff for encouraging her and making her feel welcomed and always being on hand to help her and me. She has been enjoying the food and has her appetite back. She has said to me that she never thought she would settle in a home and is surprised that she has and as a result I have seen an improvement in her mental wellbeing. I would like to thank the staff for all their care
Thank you very much for writing us such a positive review. You're right, mum has settled so well in such a short period of time. We are so happy you both chose Hillview. Thank you once again.
Mum is really well cared for here, she likes to stay in her room quite often but someone is always popping in to make sure she is ok and checking if there is anything she needs .She loves all the food which always has great choices. Mums mobility has improved so much since being in here. All staff are friendly and very caring always happy to chat.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review for us. We are pleased you are happy with Hillview and glad that mums mobility has improved since being here.
Hillview are amazing! My mum moved here in September 2025 with a reluctance to move from her home and area. But from her initial meeting with the staff she is living her best life after a tough few years. The settling in period was managed very well and she was made to feel so welcome.
I cannot fault the staff, they treat my mum like she is family and continue to keep her independent. Everyone is friendly and attentive when I have any questions and they always have the time to help.
Thank you Hillview for providing a safe home for my mum.

Thanks to their attentive care and encouragement she has made remarkable progress - she's now walking again and even dancing in some of the activities!
The team's commitment to her physical rehabilitation and wellbeing (mum has Alzheimer's) has been truly inspiring. She's also found real joy in the home's activities, which are thoughtfully planned and inclusive. Whether it's group events, creative sessions or gentle exercise, she's engaged, smiling and thriving in ways we hadn't seen for months.
We're deeply grateful to everyone at Hillview for creating such a positive, nurturing environment. It's not just a place of care - it's a place of hope and renewal.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review about Hillview. Mum was such a pleasure to care for and all the staff will always have fond memories of her. Please come in and see us if you are ever passing. Thank you once again.
Great people giving fantastic care at a time when people are at their most vulnerable. Their kindness, patience and care was second to none. Sam, Monika and all the staff could not have been more welcoming and could not do enough for mum and us, at a time when we had a great deal going on. Mum settled in very quickly and was made to feel like a human being as opposed to just another resident. We could not recommend the staff and Hillview Care Home enough. Thanks for all you did.

Mum has her hair done every week and her nails which she loves. Although she has dementia she seems settled and happy which is the most important. There are lots of activities to join in if you want to which they seem to enjoy. The food is tasty and they have a choice which is good. The staff cannot do enough so thank you. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Dad moved into Hillview in November 2023, having spent a year in another care home. The difference is night and day! All the staff always put his needs first, nothing is too much trouble for them and his being there has literally given me my father back. When making the arrangements for him to move in, I was told that they aimed not only to look after Dad but also to take the worry and stress away from his family. They have gone above and beyond to meet both aims. I cannot recommend Hillview highly enough. Thank you to you all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Hillview. I am so pleased you feel the home has exceeded your expectations.
Absolutely blown away by this care home, my mother has challenging behaviour brought on by dementia and the staff are so kind and knowledgeable with her care. The facilities are like a 4* hotel. Cinema lounges, hairdressing and nail salon and her room is lovely.

Mum is very frail and in poor health. I cannot fault the compassionate and loving care she receives from staff at all levels. Hillview Care Home exudes a warm and caring atmosphere that is evidently a true reflection of its ethos. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give to Mum.

The Hillview staff are so incredibly kind and attentive in their care of our dear mum. We always feel confident knowing that our mum’s wellbeing is at the heart of the home’s ethics. From the care staff right up to management, we are so very grateful to each and every staff member. Where, at times, we’ve had a concern or question about Mum’s care, it has always been handled with professionalism, respect and understanding. The whole ethos of Hillview seems to be very much dedicated to providing a second home-from-home experience for its residents. Thank you to each and every one of the staff at Hillview.
