I cannot commend your staff at Harper Fields more highly. The care they gave her, in particular, the last days of her life were exceptional. Also, for the care and compassion they showed her family during those last days. I cannot thank them enough. Truly exceptional. Thank you all.

My mother has resided at Harper Fields for over 7 months. Initially my mother was very poorly in terms of health fitness. The Nursing Staff, Nurse B and Staff have supported and cared for my mother so kindly and professionally. My mother has critical on going care with regard to swallowing issues.
The Nursing Staff, Nurse B and Nurse J and their wonderful teams attention to details has without doubt extended my mothers life based on Mums health on her first day at Harpers. Thank you is not enough

My lifelong friend passed away this month having been a resident at Harper Fields for 13 years.
Throughout this period she received high quality nursing care for both her considerable physical and mental health needs. She was always treated with kindness, dignity and respect.
Harper Fields became
her community and her home in every respect. This was achieved by all staff (nursing, caring, catering, maintenance, cleaning, entertainment, admin and management) working well together. Thank you all so much.

My Dad has been in Harper Fields for four weeks after spending more than six months in hospital. The staff are fantastic, friendly enthusiastic and above all caring, kind and patient with my Dad who's not always compliant because of his condition. He lost a lot of weight in hospital I'm hopeful that
he will be able to put some back on, as well as the lovely choices on the menu there are regular snacks. Their cafe is a bonus, I can make myself a drink to take to Dads room or sit with him in the cafe. The home is in a beautiful setting, my Dad particularly likes to be outside and there's a circular path around the home that I can push his wheelchair round. Today was his birthday, we were able to have a birthday party there in a private lounge dining room that could hold all the immediate family. The food provided was plentiful and delicious and really made Dads birthday special.

2 weeks in June, overall I was very contented and well looked after, as I was only booked for 2 weeks I wasn't concerned too much re any problems. I noticed that mealtimes ran much smoother when there were sufficient staff on duty, frequently short staffed some breakfast times. The food wasn't
always to my taste but I tried to eat everything and certainly haven't been hungry.

Nice welcome for my husband for respite care. was really easy, as I thought he might be awkward. apparently he was really good, and since coming home not stopped talking about it.

Overall, we find the standard of care very good and the staff are helpful, friendly and caring. Some staff members, in particular, go above and beyond to resolve queries regarding residents' care and health and to encourage them to take part in activities.

We asked for dad to be admitted to Harper Fields as he was vunerable at home due to a series of falls. He feels much safer and settled here. The staff are so warm and friendly. Dad is happier here than he has been in a long time.

My wife has Alzheimer's and has now been in Harper Fields for four weeks. I cannot fault anything; she is definitely more content there than she was at home and is looked after by wonderful caring staff who have also been very supporting to me.
The staff treat everyone with respect and kindness. I
have no complaints there. The whole process of admitting my wife (who does not have awareness of her condition) was handled with great understanding. Also, the carers help when visiting, particularly when saying goodbye can be stressful.
I have no doubts that my wife is being looked after in the best possible way.

We needed dementia care and nursing care for our frail relative with complex needs. Even though she was only there a few weeks our experience was very positive. All of the staff are polite, professional, helpful, kind and well trained. As a doctor for many years I was sooo impressed. The care has
made what was a difficult time for us as pleasant and peaceful as it could be. A big shout out for the chaplain who offers spiritual support to those who want it. She is so kind. The home is welcoming, clean and lots of activities going on. A real community

My partner spent a week @ Harpers Fields - I was very worried as it was our first ever experience of respite. I really didn't need to as, she was welcomed warmly and so much respect - with her likes and needs a top priority. He room and the home overall was spotless, staff visible - doing their best
to keep it so. Food was lovely. Plenty of choice - healthy options too. I was pleased to see a variety of activities. Staff were so kind and caring. I felt I was leaving her in good hands. We would use this place again as I have peace of mind.

My father went onto palliative caring in hospital + we needed to find a suitable nursing home for him. From the moment we walked through the door of Harper Fields we felt welcome + that a) they could cater for his needs + b) that he would be well looked after.
The staff went to great lengths to
facilitate his discharge + welcomed us all when he arrived.
Sadly his stay was very short but we had total confidence that the nursing team could meet his needs - + they did. Thank you. It meant the world.

I spent 3 weeks at Harper Fields recuperating from a fall and surgery. The staff were absolutely excellent, kind and caring - nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable, but there was an ongoing problem with no hot water in the bathroom which was not resolved during my stay. The
food was very disappointing - bland and lacking in variation. This was a shame given how excellent and dedicated the staff are.
