My Dad has settled in really well. He is always immaculately presented and thinks of the place like a posh hotel. He has his own room with en-suite and TV, and a garden view, everything is kept very clean and tidy. The communal areas are well staffed by friendly, happy, caring nurses and associates
and they always make the effort to keep each of the residents feeling happy and cared for.
The food is excellent with two three course meals a day plus snacks and drinks in between , all of a standard that you would find in a hotel, with staff support for those who might struggle.
I was really worried when we had to find my Father a place here but he is happy here and the staff really are excellent, taking time out to speak to me in person or on the phone if I have any questions or concerns and always treating the residents with kindness, compassion and patience.

The first thing that hit me was the smell, I haven't been able to visit more for a while and couldn't believe how unkept she looked. The helpers put her in a wheelchair to move her to her room, but there is nothing wrong with her legs that a bit of exercise would not fix. My sister said she was
walking the previous day. Her sight is going but no sign of glasses for her. Dignity! She has none left, absolutely awful place. You should be ashamed to call it a care home.

When visiting my sister about 2pm on the 24th/11/25 was shocked to find her sitting in lounge area with a plate of cold dinner in front of her. Chips, chicken pieces and carrotts are a difficult meal for someone who has no teeth! Also because of her dementia - she requires some assistance. Whilst
helping her to move to her room, we saw she was soaking wet and had obviously been sitting in urine for a while! We had to search for a carer to come and help us to change her clothes. This is totally unacceptable and leaves us worried as to how often this happens.

I was a bit nervous and scare coming to the care home, But staff made me very welcome and were all lovely. And the residents are nice aswell.

Words cannot do enough to express our gratitude to the staff of Beeston view. Our poor dad Ronnie was admitted there in the summer and the staff have shown compassion and care. He suffered badly from dementia and was not the easiest person to care for but despite his many bad days everyone was very
patient and caring. He was spotlessly clean and always looked very comfortable. He is now at peace and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness to him and our family.. I just don't know how you all do it..: With love and appreciation from his daughters Julie and Joanne and our step mum and Dads wife Sheila xx

As mums dementia has progressed, as a family, we have accepted that Beeston View is the best place for her. The staff are really kind and caring, and always available for a chat about mums needs. Her room is always clean and comfortable and most importantly, mum seems happy.

Very happy with the care given to my mother in law at Beeston View she is challenging on occasions but the staff are so thoughtful with her and always find a way to make her happy .
There is always plenty of activities for her to join in with.
Xmas is coming up and I'm sure it will be lovely like
it was last year mum enjoyed all the festivities.

Due to suffering from Alzheimer's disease and following a serious fall, my cousin (female) was unable to look after herself. I was concerned about my cousin going into a care home and it was a distressing time for the whole family but not at all for my cousin. After visiting Beeston View prior to
my cousin arriving I (male) was relieved and reassured to meet the staff who helped me to organise my cousins effects into her room. Beeston View is warm, clean, tidy and obviously well maintained.
The staff are all really kind and helpful to both patients and visitors. I live 100 miles away from Beeston View but am contacted at regular intervals with updates on my cousins condition and progress. The dining arrangements are similar to what you would expect in a hotel with a choice of menu etc and my cousin said 'its like being on holiday'.
I visited today, she was warm, well fed and in good spirit. She has been a resident at Beeston View for two years and six months. No complaints.

My husband and I visit a relative in Beeston View on a weekly basis, we visit at different times of the day and at all times we are always greeted warmly by caring, kind, helpful staff from the moment we arrive. The care given to residents is beyond words! The rooms are attractive and spacious,
cleanliness shines through whether it be in individual rooms, corridors or dining & lounge areas. Residents are treated with love and dignity. I have visited many care homes and this is simply the best!

My father has been a resident at Beeston View nursing home for several weeks now. I have been so impressed with the care and support that all staff offer my dad. He has advanced dementia and is at times aggressive and abusive, and this can be directed towards staff. I am always in awe of how staff
deal with this behaviour with sensitivity, respect and a smile. His room has the comfort of home and a lovely view there is a choice of meals which smell and look appetising. We are so grateful to have found such a lovely home near to mum with professional, kind and caring staff with the skills to cope with my dads complex needs.

My mother was moved to Beeston View in early May 2025 on end of life medication, however since her move, the staff and nurses have actually cared for her and improved her physical health slightly. Sadly, her capacity and cognitive health has continued to decline. She is completely bed bound and
unable to carry out any normal function. The staff are very well trained to care for someone who is cathitorised and requires hoisting. She has been encouraged to accept nutrition and is content with her surroundings. Exceptional staff, activities although not attended by my mother look very good. Perhaps more one to one interaction, but this is tricky with so much to do on a daily basis.

My lovely nan has been a resident at Beeston View for a while now. Nan has vascular dementia and the staff take amazing care of her, this is now her home and I know she is looked after. The care home and staff put on amazing events/daily activities to ensure everyone is happy and engaged, nothing is
too much trouble. I know my nan is happy here :) Thank you to all the amazing staff at Beeston View for your hard work and dedication to make sure our loved ones are cared for.

It has been such a relief to find a care home who have made such support for my wife after her needs could not be met. I enjoy a warm welcome every time I visit every day which continues until I leave. The care staff have an excellent relationship with my wife and myself and I can only express my
satisfaction.
It's the big things which add up to a rather special place.

Arrived at Barchester Iddenshall Hall and Beeston View Memory Lane Community but was unable to enter the building despite ringing the doorbell and the telephone. Fortunately, a staff member, who had arrived for duty, was able to let the three groups of people that were waiting in, eventually. Had to
use a wheelchair that had no footplates on to take my father-in-law into the garden, as no other available. When we went into the garden it was in an absolute dreadful state, nettles of weeds and grass waist height. Not much of a treat for residents, in fact, a disgrace when you think of the charges.

My 90-year-old father has had vascular dementia for 10 years and in June 2022 was moved to Beeston View. Despite having live-in carers at home, a typical day for him did not include much interaction with other people or stimulation from different activities or environments. The day he moved to
Beeston View his mobility was so bad it took 1 hour to get him into the ambulance and he needed a hoist on arrival.
Since then his life has turned around and he is positively thriving. His mobility is so much better and he is able to walk around carefully but unaided. Surprisingly, his short-term memory also seems to have improved.
I was resolute that my dad would never go into a 'home' but I'm so glad we were forced into this situation. He is looked after with compassion and dignity by people who so clearly care for him and engage with him. To visit him and everyone at Beeston View is an absolute pleasure and time spent with my dad that I will treasure always.

My wife who has Alzheimer's, has been in Beeston View since June 2023. Prior to admission, she was very agitated, and stressed, ultimately making care at home not possible. The change since admission is incredible, she is now calm, interactive, and as far as one can tell, mentally settled, largely
due to this kind, supportive, and professional care staff.
The environment is always spotlessly clean, and the meals (I visit most days) are varied, nutritious, and well-presented. The nursing staff are professional, always present, and accessible for any questions. Finally, the administration team and care manager are accessible for any questions, and helpful of specific issues arrise.

My aunt has been in Barchester Iddenshall Hall and Beeston View Memory Lane Community for eight years approximately. She loves the feeling of security and the friendly staff are always cheerful and fun. She feels cared for and well looked after and enjoys all the activities.
Whenever I visit, I am
impressed by the "can do" attitude of the staff and the continuity of staff - many have been in situ since my aunt arrived, ensuring a great bond between residents and staff.
My only negative comment is that there have been no outings since Covid. My aunt appreciates a change of scene, if only for a coffee.

Barchester Iddenshall Hall and Beeston View Memory Lane Community have been amazing to our family. My nan is 102 and still going strong. This is down to the care and the staff that look after my nan.
The unit manager has been an inspiration to the home and raising awareness and money to benefit
all residents. Keep the good work up.

My mum was discharged from hospital into another care home. She had not been out of bed for over a month, was not eating properly and very distressed. The first home she was in she did not settle and we found Beeston View Memory Lane Community after a couple of weeks and moved her. She was up
walking on the first day and eating well and settled within a couple of weeks. This is down to the homely facilities and excellent care she has received from the care and nursing staff. I cannot praise them highly enough. We have got Mum back again (as much as we can).
