I am so grateful to have found Sweetcoft at a very difficult time in my husband's and my life. His health was very much on the decline and I found that I could no longer keep him safe at home. The Sweetcroft family immediately took us both under their wings and have provided my husband with the
limitless love and care he needed and me the reassurance that he was in very safe hands. Nothing is too much trouble. Each and every one of the staff clearly loves what they do and this creates such a warm and caring environment. Even the residents families are treated with care and respect. An awful lot of effort goes into caring for the mind as well as the body, There is endless entertainment in many different forms plus Birthdays and national occasions are very well celebrated.
The residents medical needs are very closely monitored and any further assistance is immediately obtained where necessary.
I just can't praise Sweetcroft and all the staff enough,. Thank you all.

Mum has just spent her third Christmas in Sweetcroft and we can't thank the team enough for giving mum and all the residents a wonderful festive time. As well as the great care given it was nice to know mum was being looked after at what can be a different time for some. The home looked fantastic
with all the Christmas decorations up and the residents Christmas party was a great success. We do not regret our choice of Sweetcroft as a home for mum. Thank you to all the team at Sweetcroft.

We have all been extremely happy with the way Gerry has settled into Sweetcroft in the last month. This is all with a very big thank you to Harry, Aggie and the whole team for their kindness and support. Whenever I leave, I always think we've definitely placed Gerry in the best home for him. Thank

Mum is 99, and a widow of over 35 years. After a fall at home and a stay in Hospital it was agreed (Gerontologist, Social Services, etc) that Mum had to go to a care home. We visited numerous homes and Sweetcroft was head and shoulders above the rest. It has under 25 residents, the home is light,
bright and cheerful, with all en suite bedrooms. The care staff are lovely, kind, smiling, happy and very efficient, it has a cosy, warm atmosphere with lots of laughter. It has a high ratio of staff to residents, the food is fresh and home cooked, the dinning room welcoming and delightfully decorated. The level of management and care is beyond exceptional, all Mums needs and wants are catered for. She has had eye and hearing tests, chiropodist and hairdresser visits, they have a doctor and district nurses on call. It has lovely grounds and daily activities. Thankfully they had a vacancy, we are extremely happy, grateful and very lucky to have found Sweetcroft, it is a sparkling gem!

I have visited a few care homes when my Mother needed care, Sweetcroft Care Home is exceptional in its attitude, care and staff.
The home is clean tidy and has a happy atmosphere

Mum has been in Sweetcroft Care Home since February 2025. Her health has improved since being in here as she now has 24 hour care.The staff are really friendly and being a small home they get to know the residents well. The Activities Coordinator is loved by them all and she is great at getting mum
involved.

Both my professional & personal life across the UK & Australia, I've visited many residential care homes. Sweetcroft stands out as truly exceptional from the moment you enter, the beautiful curated decor & thoughtful memorabilia transport you on a nostalgic journey, creating a warm homely
atmosphere. The home is impeccably clean & tidy & the long-standing dedicated staff show remarkable compassion & commitment to every resident. The food is of excellent standard & hydration is clearly a priority - residents are cared for in every way. Daily activities are thoughtfully planned & inclusive of all & they are encouraged to join in. Everyone is valued & part of the community. This home sets the gold standard. I would visit 3x a day.

Staff very friendly and always attentive towards mother. Mum health has improved since moving into Sweetcroft. Love the activities and keepfit classes put on for the residents.

We were fortunate to be offered a room at Sweetcroft Care Home at a particularly challenging time for our mum who is suffering from advanced dementia. The staff at the home are constantly exceptionally kind and considerate and get to know the residents individually. The manager is kind, approachable
and communicates with family members. It is immaculately clean, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and residents are given good home cooked food. I could not recommend more highly.

Our Mum moved into Sweetcroft Care Home in December 2024. It had been an extremely stressful time, but even before she became a resident we were all made to feel part of their care home family.
All of the staff at the Home were extremely kind, compassionate and caring towards Mum and were
exceptionally supportive to us. We always felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Home was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with bright well thought out decorations and displays along with regular organised fun activities and lovely celebrations for Christmas and birthdays.
Mum really liked her bedroom which was very pretty and comfortable.
We were so grateful to everyone at Sweetcroft Care Home for looking after our Mum. Everyone was so caring, warm, kind, compassionate, professional, hardworking, helpful, thoughtful and fun. Thank you.

Mum had a very challenging, difficult time at the start of the year and it became apparent that she could no longer live independently. During those difficult months, we could see her spirit was gradually being crushed and she was a very defeated person who moved into Sweetcroft. It was the best
decision she ever made.
Within days she was back to her old self thanks to the excellent staff. Her room was light and airy, the food was exactly what she most enjoyed and she had fun with the various activities. Sadly Mum passed away after only five months at Sweetcroft but our memories of those months are all happy ones.

When visiting my good friend, the staff are very welcoming and treat everyone like family. The atmosphere is just wonderful and the cleanliness of the home is outstanding. Activities are brilliant as they always get family and friends involved. They have a good selection of meals to choose from too.

What can I say Sweetcroft really is the place to be. I have been visiting my friend each week and wow what a friendly and warm environment I walk into. The staff and management are so friendly and you feel very welcome the minute you walk through that door. The care that they deliver is what I can
only say is outstanding. The home is very clean and odour-free.
I am so glad my friend is here, I haven't seen him smile this much in a long time.
I highly recommend Sweetcroft.

My mum came to Sweetcroft in July and I must say I am really impressed with the care my mum is receiving. The staff and management are amazing. Mum seems very happy since she's been here.

This care home quite frankly is superb. The manager and staff are nothing short of wonderful. Everyone is professional, kind, caring, engaged, supportive and actually fun - whilst the latter seems odd it's much needed at times. In an environment where my father is so unwell to have staff members who
can balance sensitivity with support and fun is appreciated and at times much necessary. My mother, brother and sister could not recommend this care home enough. Whilst it's tough knowing Dad is in a home this place at least does the utmost to be a home from home.
Thank you, everyone - special shoutout to four members of staff in particular and weekend staff who are amazing.

My mum and dad moved into Sweetcroft in January, it was the only home Mum and Dad wanted to go in as their school friend was there. It is a very friendly care home, all the staff are excellent and Mum and Dad are looked after exceptionally well. Sadly Dad passed away in May, the food is excellent
and Mum's care is excellent, couldn't fault Sweetcroft in any way. So pleased we put Mum and Dad in Sweetcroft, no regrets, entertainment is above and beyond.

Sweetcroft is truly like a family. The carers genuinely care for the residents, they are cheerful, caring and full of ideas to entertain the residents. Because the team take the time and trouble to get to know the residents they know when something isn't right and can deal with any problem swiftly
and kindly. Thank you Sweetcroft.

Mum has been at Sweetcroft for over 3 years now. The staff are always cheerful and caring. Mum is well looked after here. She has plenty of activities to keep her busy or she can spend time quietly if she wishes. The food (breakfast, dinners etc) are always good and varied. I know Mum is always well
cared for at Sweetcroft and is happy here, which is a great peace of mind for me and the family.
