Staff work hard with care, humour and many individual acts of kindness to make our aunt and her elderly sister (who visits frequently) feel welcome and at home. Our aunt has enjoyed the regular afternoon movies with coffee, the support to access religious services, physio support such as being taken
for walks in the fresh air and so on... The medical reassurance and responsiveness of the team has been much appreciated. It also helps that she has a lovely view from her room, which she finds relaxing and an ongoing source of pleasure. Thanks to all.!

I spent two weeks in respite care over Christmas and found the staff helpful & caring. The meal on Christmas Day was excellent, with all trimmings, but afterwards the quality of the food seemed to tail off, although I realise that leftovers have to be put to use! The soups were excellent. The
atmosphere is friendly & caring.

My mother has been in Faithful House for 18 months and is about to celebrate her second Christmas there, she really likes the decorations and with help remembers things from her last christmas. Although occasionally asking if she is coming home she follows this up by saying she's very happy and
likes being at Faithful House and couldn't be in a better place, She still regards the staff as her friends and the residents as her family. ]Her personal care including minor medical issues couldn't be better.

My mother has been in Faithfull Houses care for the last 9 months. I can honestly say I have not visited a care home as excellent.
The home is spotlessly clean, and the food menu is exceptional. The care and concern for everyone's individual needs are second to none, and the staffs lovely,
friendly attitude makes for a relaxed atmosphere.
The activities program is varied and full and the staff do a wonderful job getting everyone involved. My mum is so happy being there. 5* care.

Faithfull House feels like home! My mums who suffers from dementia, settled in quickly into Fauthfull House. The staff are so friendly and caring. They understand my mum and can preempt her needs. My mum has a lovely room and really enjoys the 3-course breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thought and
varied activities offered have stabilised if not improved, her confusion and well-being. She especially enjoys the outing on Tuesday. Mum's family are made to feel so welcome, and visiting is encouraged anytime. We are often made a cup of tea & given a piece of cake by the staff.

I am very impressed with the care and attention my mum gets at Faithfull House.
Faithfull House has a very consistent team of staff so low staff-turnover which means they are well known to my mum and they know her too.
The home has regular activities and trips. They have a lovely garden area
and large lounge and dining rooms.
If I have any issues, they react quickly to emails and respond quickly.
I highly recommend this care home.

My Mother Sheila has now lived in Lillian Faithfull House for 10 years . This care home and its staff have been amazing for us as a family as my mother now 94 yrs has had the care love and attention in all aspects of her physical mental and emotional needs met . She is safe and loved and the
communication warmth and energy you feel when entering this establishment words can't describe . The activities the physical therapists the kitchen staff and the overall caretakers are all heavily invested in making my mothers stay comfortable and are all so attentive to her daily needs . They are kind , always smiling to lend a hand and the management team Dale and Helen are highly trained honest , and easy to get a hold off with any concerns . I highly recommend this Care home , Charity run and could not be happier for my Mum and as a beloved daughter I would not only want the best for my mother but her end of life care to be that of everlasting love and peace .

My mother was on a two week respite after a reassessment of her condition. They decided to make her a permanent resident in June 2024. Since then, she has settled well, and we as a family have found the staff very welcoming and helpful; they have cared for and looked after her very well in the time
she has been a resident. She has enjoyed the trips out and activities.

My mother who has dementia has stayed in Faithful house for respite care on many occasions over the past couple of years and every time the care she has received has been exemplary. The staff are absolutely lovely and mum always seems extremely happy there. There are always lots activities going on
and the food is excellent. Finally the garden and summerhouse are particularly lovely, a wonderful place for the residents to sit on a fine day. I would not hesitate to recommend Faithful house to anyone looking for care for an elderly relative in the future.

Faithfull House pulled out all the stops to give my mother a memorable 100th birthday. Her hair and nails were beautifully done. The staff welcomed the family and had decorated both her room and the room where we met. The cake was fabulous - big and chocolatey. It was enjoyed by all.
Arrangements
were made to transport Mum to an outside party later in the week. All went smoothly, and Mum looked great and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Many thanks to all at Fathfull House.

My mum is so happy at Faithful House. She loves the company of all the other residents and carers. She's fully involved in all of the activities and especially loves the trips out most weeks, the singing and dancing and cooking. I just can't believe the positive change there's been in Mum's outlook
since moving in. Feeling safe, cared for and loved has been so important for Mum's mental well being. Thank you so much to everyone at Faithful House. You are an amazing team.

SECRET GARDEN DAY CARE HUB - part of Lilian Faithfull House
My mother-in-law absolutely loves it here! The staff are friendly and always put the guests at ease, they are treated with dignity and understanding. After a tough few years, this wonderful place has been a new lease of life for her.
She
has made new friends and always comes bouncing out at the end of the day with a huge smile, talking about the fun things she has been doing - one of her favourite activities is when they have a singer visit who plays all the old songs, and everyone gets on the dancefloor. No one is shy, and the staff make sure everyone is included. The staff are wonderful - big shout out to a particular member of staff, who does a fantastic job running the centre and took extra time to reassure us when we were both nervous at the start !
There is always a fun atmosphere at the Secret Garden. As soon as I collect her, she is then on a countdown until the next time she can go. THANKYOU SO MUCH keep up the good work!

Faithfull House is a lovely, welcoming home. The staff are friendly, happy & approachable. The staff are willing to adapt to the residents' needs, which is excellent. Leadership is very good too. My mum enjoys the wide selection of meals and beverages. Mum also enjoys taking part in the many
activities & (trips when she wants to go).
Top marks for the lovely resident rooms, cleanliness of the whole home. A great place to be.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and decoration of the home. Found the staff most amiable and helpful without exception. Stayed for lunch a few times and was very pleased with the meal and amiable staff. If the time comes, I would be happy to be a resident there.

The carers always spoke to my sister before anyone else in the room; she acknowledged this with a smile, even when she didn't remember very much. She could at times be very feisty but they always responded with calmness and patience. Everyone was welcoming to all her visitors. We were treated like
one of the family; when towards the end, I spent a night with her. I was shown great courtesy and I felt in good safe hands, as well as my sister. All the staff were approachable and helpful; she was offered alternatives in activities and also in meals. These courtesies intended to all the staff, laundry, handy people, dining room and kitchen staff. Thank you.

My 92 year-old mum had been fully independent until September 2024, when she was hospitalised due to a urine infection. Unfortunately, she contracted further infections whilst in hospital and was very unwell. She developed delirium, which caused all sorts of problems, including hallucinating and not
recognising us, which was awful. Mum went to Faithfull House for assessment, where she has been provided with excellent care by the patient, kind and cheerful staff. Mum enjoyed the Christmas activities and much effort went into making the place look lovely. She has now expressed a view that she does wish not to return to living on her own, which I'm sure has much to do with the social interaction at Faithfull House. The home-cooked food is lovely and mum's gone from not eating very well and losing a lot of weight, to enjoying her food once again. Her room is adequate but I presume those of long-term residents may be superior. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make her stay so comfortable.

During the time my sister resided in Faithful House I was impressed by the level of care and humility displayed by all the staff. The residents seemed to be known and cared for as unique individuals and their specific needs understood and respected. We were made welcome, recognised and 'looked
after' when we visited. In the last period of my sister's life we knew that she was cared for in a very loving way, as were we as relatives.
