My mother has been a resident in the care home for two years and is very comfortable there. The staff are caring and kind to her and she likes them. They offer her choice to decide where she wants to sit, and where she would like her meals She very much enjoys the food in the care home, and a
good selection of food is offered each day. A fitness co-ordinator comes in each Wednesday and Mom enjoys the exercises and joins in with the songs, which uplifts her mood. Staff and management monitor and are quick to notice any changes in her behaviour which can sometimes be the result of an infection, and medical advice is sought and Mom is quickly sorted with the correct medication. A singer also comes into the home and Mom enjoys joining in when she knows the words to songs that he sings. A hairdresser comes into the home every two weeks and Mom likes to have her hair cut and blow dried, it makes her feel good.
