Nurses work directly with my GP and are informed about my condition... through effective and interactive wound care (as well as considered and efficient personal care) I have finally seen an improvement and avoided further recurrent infections and setbacks. I've managed to avoid further long hospital admissions (which has been a tri-annual event since 2021). Activities, Catering, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams have all made an effort to make me feel supported and welcome. Hill House staff has significantly improved my quality of life and truly makes me enthusiastic about my future... and optimistically determined to improve my disability. Thank you Hill House!

Care has been consistently good, not perfect, but of an acceptable standard.

Check in staff, when there are always nice and friendly.

My frequent interactions with the care staff, as they are checking up all the time, not a complaint, and always freindly/apologetic of disturbing my vists.

Hill House has really changed a life for the better.

My brother was at Westside, and he was looked after so well by all of the staff, he had dementia for a long time, but everyone was brilliant, a big thanks to Stella and Annette and all the Nurses who cared for him, we where so lucky to find Westside when my brother had to move from a care hone to a nursing home, I would recommend this place,

we feel my mother had a lovely stay. staff were always friendly and welcoming, whilst assisting my mother where required. Although my mother can take some time to eat, on more than one occasion, food would arrive luke warm / cold. Appreciated staff moving mum into communal areas during the day, as nicer than being left in room however being in attendance during a heat wave was pretty unbearable. there were fans, but think some aircon units are needed

Our dad was a resident at Hill House for the past 14 months, and throughout his time there the staff were absolutely amazing. They treated him with respect, dignity, kindness, and genuine care at all times. Even during the more difficult periods, he was always clean, tidy, comfortable, and peaceful.

We were often present at mealtimes, and whenever Dad was unable to manage on his own, the staff were always there to patiently assist him. His room was consistently clean and well cared for, and we truly had nothing to complain about - only gratitude for the way he was looked after.

Sadly, Dad passed away last weekend, and the nurses and carers on duty did everything they possibly could to make such a difficult time easier for all of us as a family.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Hill House and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for a loved one.

Thank you to everyone at Hill House. It is quite hard to hand over the care of a loved one, but you made the experience easier.

Westside Care Home have offered fabulous, attentive care to our father, who is currently in their care. Wonderful service in comparison to other homes that are not. We are immensely appreciative of the level of care and attention our father has received this time. They are very organised, professional, and clean in all areas of the home! Fabulous members of staff, from cleaners to senior management.

My wife spent the last 3 years of her life here. She was not able to stand and had dementia. The staff and management conduct was exemplary. I had complete confidence in the care and safety provided. I found the room always clean and tidy. I was not present at mealtimes, but my son said that the meals were tailored to individual requirements. She was not able to participate in the various activities; however, I did attend 2 BBQ events that were pleasant. One highlight was a visit to the bedroom by a Shetland pony, which was most appreciated. On 3 occasions the lift was not working, which was inconvenient. Afternoon tea was always provided to me and my wife. If at any time I need a care home, I would not hesitate to use Hill House.

The team at Hill House took great care of my mum over three years. Before going into care mum's physical health had deteriorated over time with various symptoms and ailments I thought wouldn't go away. Each one was identified and treated and mum ended up more comfortable and contented than I'd seen her for a long time. The team took time to build rapport with my sister, father and I. I never had any doubt my mum was in the hands of good and professional people, working in a safe and caring culture.

I have been visiting my friend at this Care Home for several years and I've always found that they are very caring and kind and look after all of her needs. They don't treat her as a resident. They treat her like a family member.

My mother has been a Westfield for two years, in this time the entire staff has shown nothing but care and compassion. She is always very well looked after and any problems be they medical, diet or the room she is in are always sorted out swiftly. I have nothing but praise for everyone who works at Westside.

As before, my wife was in a poor home before she is now looked after like a queen. I visit every day 6 hours and treated to food and drink. If there is a better nursing home than this one I would be surprised. The attention to detail is incredible, as to functions and total care for everyone.

My family and I have been extremely impressed with the consistent level of care our mother received over the past three years. The dedication and compassion shown by all the nurses have been remarkable, and choosing this care home was the best decision we could have made. We always felt confident that she was safe and well cared for. The manager and administrative staff are very approachable, and nothing is too much trouble. We are deeply grateful to the manager, the staff, and the entire team. Thank you to everyone. I highly recommend this care home.

I am the closest friend of a resident at Hill House and travelled more than 13,000 kilometres to see her after more than a decade apart. I arrived with years of worry about her health and emotional wellbeing, but left with complete peace of mind. What I witnessed moved me deeply. Every single member of staff - professionals, carers, support and maintenance workers alike - treats her with genuine warmth, dignity and compassion. The atmosphere is calm, respectful and truly centred on her best interests. Seeing how well she is cared for was one of the most reassuring and emotional experiences of my life. I am profoundly grateful for the exceptional care she receives.

My wife moved in, in late Sept, so our experience is limited.The relevant staff seem to have extended themselves to find, by trial and error, the best possible diet for Mary which matters, because there is a real danger that she will eat too little. The lying in bed/sitting chair regime is adjusted to meet her daily needs. All the staff whom I have met have been friendly and pleasant, and all my questions have been answered. The place inspires confidence.

Our family cannot thank the team at Westside Care Home enough for the care and kindness they have shown our mother. From the moment mum arrived after being transferred from the hospital, every member of staff treated her with dignity, warmth and respect. The environment is peaceful, clean and homely, which has brought great comfort to us all. We are deeply grateful for the compassion, patience and professionalism that has made this difficult time a little easier.

Overall, very good indeed. The staff and the manager are very professional, kind, helpful and approachable. Lovely atmosphere, all residents involved with activities. All nurses/carers/doctors are very friendly and ready to answer your questions. The entertainment staff is also are lot of fun. It feels very welcoming and every one eager to help and please. Would highly recommend. Even the chefs say hello to residents and are pleased to adapt meals to suit residents' needs. Meals are freshly made daily with care on site. Excellent hospitality to visitors.

Found the home to be bright and welcoming everyone has been kind and helpful and approachable. Like the way they include all in whatever is going on and seems very organised. I have been pleasantly surprised. Residents seem to enjoy all activities.
