My partner and my daughter-in-law both have professional experience of visiting care homes. Both agree this is the best care home they have visited and an exemplar of what an excellent care home should be.
It took a long while for Mum to settle down and with the patience and attention of the staff, she is now engaged in life at Rayners and enjoys the strong relationships she has with the staff.
The food is very good, the safe-guarding procedures watertight and the medical and medication supervision extremely conscientious.
We are very lucky to have found Rayners indeed.

It's a joy to visit her and we have peace of mind for the first time in a very long time after trying to care for both her and my late father in their own home. residents! Lovely, quality, compassionate and respectful care was consistently given to Mum. Mum knew her own mind and was given the freedom to decide what she wanted to do. Everyone from those who clean to carers to senior staff treated Mum so well. Everyone worked hard to meet her needs, and I know she was happier there than she would have been anywhere else. Her end of life was quick and unexpected, but the home did everything it could to make sure she was being seen by the GP and to keep her as clean and comfortable as possible. They kept me informed throughout. She passed peacefully with no fear, and care was on hand. Thank you, everyone, and thank you to one member of staff for attending the funeral.
