We truly appreciate your recognition of the dedication and care our staff provide, especially given the complex and often challenging needs of our residents.Id like to reassure you that we take staffing very seriously and use a robust staffing calculator to ensure we meetand exceedrequired levels. In fact, our staffing ratios are higher than those typically found in similar services. On each unit, we maintain a 1:3 staff-to-resident ratio, supported by two registered nurses and two supernumerary managers on every shift. This structure allows us to respond flexibly and effectively to the diverse and evolving needs of our residents.We understand that more staff can always feel helpful, especially in high-demand environments, but we are confident that our current model enables us to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. Thank you for visiting at the time of our annual summer barbecue, and we are glad you enjoyed it! We aim to have a themed outdoorsy celebration like that annually, and if weather does not allow us, we move these events inside. We strive to ensure everyone feels welcome in all of our centres, so to hear your comments regarding friendly staff means a huge amount to us! Thank you for your feedback regarding meal times - our kitchen are continually reviewing their menu and meal planning is a huge part of life within PJ Care - food is fuel, after all. This has been noted but we can see this is an older issue that has since been resolved.
