We could not have been made more welcome today when we visited my stepmother. We were greeted with a smile at the front door and taken into the conservatory, where we were offered drinks and biscuits.
Although she initially felt rather overwhelmed, saying that she would perhaps prefer not to see us,
a member of staff gently suggested that we waited five minutes. She brought my stepmother in to us a short time later, and spent a very happy hour and a half with our relative.
An hour into our visit, the member of staff brought the Home pet Rabbit to us for a little pet. We were offered cold drinks, more biscuits, and the conservatory door was opened to make us more comfortable as the temperature has been rising.
She was so helpful, kind, professional, and friendly. We can't praise her enough.
Happy and reassured that my stepmother is looked after extremely well and is safe and comfortable in the homes environment.
Thank you.

Mum has been at Three Oaks for nearly two years now and is thriving in the professional, caring environment of this lovely care home. She is happy and cared for and everyone goes above and beyond in meeting her individual needs and making us feel welcomed and supported as a family. I have complete
peace of mind that they always act in her best interests and cannot thank everyone enough for what they do.

This is such a Happy home and anytime you go you have the same welcome. However busy the staff are they always take time for you.
The residents are all so well cared for and the staffs dedication is admirable & and, second to none. I have visited a few care homes which don't come up to the standards
of 3 Oaks ,it is by far a class of its own ,which is down to the way it's run and the staff. Well done and thanks to everyone.

My Mum has resided at 3 Oaks now, for nearly 10 years. Despite the medical challenges she has faced, I feel she is happier there than ever. The dedication and hard work of the manager, deputy manager and their team, is second to none. Always willing to help and support, you with any concerns and offer
sound and experienced advice if asked for it. The warm welcome on arrival, when the door is opened, is like visiting family and this reflects in the overall atmosphere of the home...welcoming and happy.Am eternally grateful, that my Mum herself chose this home...its a real "gem".

My first experience of Sunnycroft was when my father and stepmother joined in July 2022. Sadly, my father passed away two months later, but during that brief stay, he was made to feel at home and very comfortable and settled in very quickly. My stepmother is still in the home and continues to receive
very personal, attentive care and the activities are excellent and residents are encouraged to participate. The team is led by the manager who I cannot fault in her job role. Thank you to you all.

My experience of Sunnycroft both this time as a friend of my partner's sister and previously with my wife in 2018 has always been very positive. Sunnycroft has a friendly family atmosphere and as a visitor I have always been made to feel welcome. There are a wide variety of activities on offer and the
residents are encouraged and assisted to take part. On a number of occasions when my wife was resident there they kindly provided me with a meal which was excellent. I would highly recommend Sunnycrofts excellent care to anyone a measure of their success is the fact that many of the staff have been there for years.

Dad has been with Sunnycroft for just over a year. He always expresses how much he appreciates the care and support that receives. The friendly team listen to any concerns working to a resolution should any be required. When needed health updates are given either via the telephone or face to face.
There are plenty of activities to keep residents occupied with family actively encouraged to participate. Well done team keep up the good work.

Cannot speak highly enough of Sunnycroft. I've had a connection with Sunnycroft for some while (my mother in law was cared for by them before my own mother). She has been there a little more than a year and I am always impressed by the care, kindness and patience shown by all the staff to all the residents.
Mum loves the food and engaging with all the staff and especially the social activities in the lounge. It's very reassuring for my whole family to know that she is safe and well cared for and still enjoying life.

My Godmother has been at Sunnycroft since the summer, they were really helpful as it was initially respite care, which became full time care. She has settled in well and the team are very caring, listening to her needs and what she likes as well as being excellent at communicating with me. Thank you
for all your help and support.

My mother has been resident at Sunnycroft for 5 years. During this time, she has always been treated with kindness and dignity, despite her dementia being challenging at times.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly and I know I can call in at any time.
I especially want to commend the manager and the
activities coordinator, who are both exceptional and go above and beyond normal expectations in delivering high quality care and high degree of quality of life to the residents.

It is always very easy to write a review for Sunnycroft as I simply cannot fault the exemplary care that my Mum receives from the team there. It is obvious to me that she is so very well looked after in all respects. In the last 8 months, my Mum has sadly succumbed to pneumonia twice and on each occasion
when she was discharged from hospital, the wonderful care team at Sunnycroft provided the greatest level of care to ensure that she continued her recovery back to health. I cannot thank the Sunnycroft team more highly for all that they do for my Mum and it is such a relief for me to know that she is so safe, well cared for and loved by them all.

I cannot thank or praise the wonderful team at Sunnycroft for the care they provided for my father for the past 13 months. All staff are kind and thoughtful and treat all residents as an individual with the respect they deserve. They were also a great support to me during some sad and challenging times
and especially when we reached end of life, they are all so dedicated to their work, so caring and considerate. I am so grateful for my little family to be part of their bigger family for a short while. You are all truly amazing.

Mum has been in the care of Sunnycroft Care Home for the past 2 years. She is very well cared for both mentally and physically. She is carefully observed by the staff for any changes that may need medical attention. Any problems are dealt with rapidly. All staff, are very open to conversations about
mum and her changing needs. Residents are treated with respect and dignity and encouraged to be the best of themselves.
Mum loves to join in with the organised activities particularly the physical ones (the quiz cards are quite a challenge for mum and me). The year is filled with topical entertainment and decorations.
The rooms are always clean and tidy and the main lounge has a lovely view over a field with horses.
The care home is very well led by the senior staff in all respects.

A great care home which feels genuinely 'homely'. The staff are very attentive are genuinely 'caring' and nothing seems too much trouble. Nevertheless, they clearly work hard to keep the residents occupied, with fun and inventive activities. Our mother, who has Alzheimer's, seemed very happy there
from day one. 14 months later this absolutely remains the case. I would recommend this home to anyone with an elderly relative who is in need of such care. I give four stars for value for money only because care homes are very expensive, but Sunnycroft is competitively priced I believe for the location and for the level of care offered. Also, communication with the next of kin is excellent.

My Mother continues to flourish here under the dedicated safety, care, and support provided by the professional team. All of the staff are amazing and very kind to the residents and their families.
There are varied daily organised activities, led by an enthusiastic co-ordinator along with trips out
to local venues of interest.
The excellent food is freshly cooked from scratch which is served in the separate dining room, with all tastes catered for to an extremely high standard.
I think it's fair to say that every member of staff goes well above and beyond their remit to deliver a first-class home for their residents.

We found Three Oaks one day whilst passing by in the car. We thought this could be Mum's new home. We visited the home that day. The inside was so warm and inviting, there was even a large pond with all sorts of wildlife, plus the available room we viewed for Mum was fabulous! My mum loved it. She has
been with Three Oaks now for a few months and has settled in quite well this is all due to the wonderful people looking after her. We cannot fault how caring, patient and diligent the staff are with her. We often hear of people going the extra mile, these people run a marathon on a daily basis. They treat her with total respect not a number, but a human being with feelings. They ensure she eats well, the home-cooked food is terrific, her food allergies are monitored and her welfare and health issues are reviewed daily. The brilliant manager has the home running in ship shape and Bristol fashion, which is why, along with her fabulous crew Three Oaks deserves such a high grade rating.
