Three Oaks is a family-owned care home, renowned for its beautiful grounds and freshly-cooked food. With eighteen bedrooms, it's the perfect size to offer a variety of spaces and activities while keeping a homely atmosphere. Set in the Hampshire countryside, it is just minutes from the M27 and from the busy village of Wickham.

The home specialises in providing care for people who are mentally alert but need some support and company to enjoy life to the full. It also welcomes those with mild dementia, but is not suitable for people with challenging behaviour or a tendency to wander.

We could not have been made more welcome today when we visited my stepmother. We were greeted with a smile at the front door and taken into the conservatory, where we were offered drinks and biscuits.
Although she initially felt rather overwhelmed, saying that she would perhaps prefer not to see us,
a member of staff gently suggested that we waited five minutes. She brought my stepmother in to us a short time later, and spent a very happy hour and a half with our relative.
An hour into our visit, the member of staff brought the Home pet Rabbit to us for a little pet. We were offered cold drinks, more biscuits, and the conservatory door was opened to make us more comfortable as the temperature has been rising.
She was so helpful, kind, professional, and friendly. We can't praise her enough.
Happy and reassured that my stepmother is looked after extremely well and is safe and comfortable in the homes environment.

Mum has been at Three Oaks for nearly two years now and is thriving in the professional, caring environment of this lovely care home. She is happy and cared for and everyone goes above and beyond in meeting her individual needs and making us feel welcomed and supported as a family. I have complete

This is such a Happy home and anytime you go you have the same welcome.However busy the staff are they always take time for you.
The residents are all so well cared for and the staffs dedication is admirable & and,second to none. I have visited a few care homes which don't come up to the standards
of 3 Oaks ,it is by far a class of its own ,which is down to the way it's run and the staff. Well done and thanks to everyone.

My Mum has resided at 3 Oaks now, for nearly 10 years. Despite the medical challenges she has faced, I feel she is happier there than ever. The dedication and hard work of the manager, deputy manager and their team, is second to none. Always willing to help and support, you with any concerns and offer
sound and experienced advice if asked for it. The warm welcome on arrival, when the door is opened, is like visiting family and this reflects in the overall atmosphere of the home...welcoming and happy.Am eternally grateful, that my Mum herself chose this home...its a real "gem".

We found Three Oaks one day whilst passing by in the car. We thought this could be Mum's new home. We visited the home that day. The inside was so warm and inviting, there was even a large pond with all sorts of wildlife, plus the available room we viewed for Mum was fabulous! My mum loved it. She has
been with Three Oaks now for a few months and has settled in quite well this is all due to the wonderful people looking after her. We cannot fault how caring, patient and diligent the staff are with her. We often hear of people going the extra mile, these people run a marathon on a daily basis. They treat her with total respect not a number, but a human being with feelings. They ensure she eats well, the home-cooked food is terrific, her food allergies are monitored and her welfare and health issues are reviewed daily. The brilliant manager has the home running in ship shape and Bristol fashion, which is why, along with her fabulous crew Three Oaks deserves such a high grade rating.

From the very first time I visited my friend, I knew she would be well cared for at Three Oaks. The staff and management are simply amazing, caring and professional. If it was up to me, I couldn't have found a better care home for her. Three Oaks definitely has a family feel to it and I felt welcome
from the first visit. All the staff and management work so hard to make sure the residents are well cared for. I can't thank them enough for all their hard work.

I have visited many care homes in my district nursing career. Some were excellent and many not so good.
I was therefore delighted to find Three Oaks when looking for a care home for my father.
Three Oaks is a homely care home, all of the staff I have met are caring and kind and seem to know how
to handle clients with dementia/confusion.
Dad is clean and tidy when I visit and the staff have learnt his ways and the best way to handle him.
The meals provided look appetising, my father certainly enjoys them.
There are activities, such as chair exercises, that I have seen Dad get enjoyment from.
The management is professional and approachable, communication is good.
Dad has settled in well in a very short time and I put this down, mainly, to the good care that he is having.
I would not hesitate to recommend Three Oaks to someone who was looking for care for a relative.

We hear so many stories of care homes - and there are so many choices - where do you start?
This was me in October - living 4000 miles away and knowing it was time.
Fortunately I found Three Oaks North Boarhunt - 1st meeting with the manager and another member of staff I felt at ease and could see
my mum being in a good space here.
Now three months in and I am so pleased that it's working so well - the whole team truly care and do their utmost to do their best for the resident. It's important that compassion and personal care are utmost.
I have every faith in Three Oaks and have enjoyed a wonderful Christmas party for the residents - where families became friends and all sharing the common theme that we are in a good place.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

The home is always warm in the winter. Staff are friendly and welcoming and offer tea/coffee and biscuits.
I've noticed staff are very patient with the residents who are often confused and restless and soon calm them down.
I haven't tried their meals, although I have been offered them, but the cooking
always smells lovely.

My sister is very happy and content living at Three Oaks Care Home. She feels safe and secure and very well looked after. She is listened to and her needs are met in a friendly and professional manner. All the staff are approachable and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is wholesome,
appetising and of good quality. The manager and deputy manager are enthusiastic and passionate about the well-being of the residents and ensuring that the home is run in a high but homely manner.
The home has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. A home from home.

My father-in-law has been cared for here for the last 18 months. Other places we looked at seemed very corporate, but Three Oaks has much more of a homely feel. The staff here are so friendly and caring; they go the extra mile to really understand the needs of each resident. A lovely location in the

The Staff are really kind, helpful and personable. The person in care I support can be challenging at times and the staff deal with these challenges brilliantly. The feedback from the person in care is that activities could be better and often seem a bit childish for their liking. Food is home cooked,

My father had been in hospital and then rehab for over 3 months prior to the family and social services eventually and reluctantly coming to the conclusion that he really had no option other than to live in a care home. The search for a home was difficult as so many homes were either small and not that
pleasant or large and impersonal. When we came across Three Oaks we instantly liked the homely atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff as well as the clearly very well-managed home. The management are very responsive to any enquiries or requests and the staff have always treated my father with respect and assisted with his every need over the past more than a year. He has settled in well and I believe likes the home and has made it very clear he does not want to move to any other care home, which I think says a lot about the care he receives. There are lovely areas for residents to relax and additionally, the conservatory is great in the sunshine looking onto the fantastic garden.

I have nothing but praise for the kind, caring management and staff at Three Oaks.
My mother has settled really well into her comfortable room, she is happy and eating healthily instead of snacking or missing meals. She also now has friends and a social life!

My 93-year-old mother has been a resident at Three Oaks Care Home since October 2022. As it became obvious that she could no longer look after herself at home, I embarked on a search of care homes in the Fareham area, and visited six of them. Three Oaks came head and shoulders above the others because
of the amazing location, the smaller number of residents and the wonderful, caring management and staff. Initially, Mum was located upstairs, but was moved downstairs when she started to experience difficulties using the stairlift. Since moving into the home, she has declined both physically and mentally, but is settled and eats well. It is a relief for me to know that she is being so well looked after.

My now 100-year-old mother has been at Three Oaks Care Home for five months now and is very happy there whereas before she was in her own flat with carers coming in twice a day. She now gets the support she needs 24 hours a day and, most of all, company along with regular food (which is excellent) and
it's peace of mind for me, her son, and the rest of the family that she's well looked after.

I spend a whole day at the care home every two weeks. The staff never give the impression anything is too much trouble. They deal with the transition between leaving a house to settling in at the home with sensitivity and compassion. The care and time they give my dad and step mum makes them feel cared
for. I hope I would receive the same care when my time comes.
