It was very evident that the residents' wellbeing was at the heart of everything. My mother has been at the home for 11 months. I summarise my last conversation with her 'I fell very safe and happy here. The staff cannot be more friendly and accommodating'.

The staff were much more friendly and caring, to make Dad's stay more comfortable and enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble for them at every interaction. Throughout Mum's stay at Barton Lodge, she was treated with dignity, kindness, and real loving care from all the staff. Every single member of staff that we came into contact with was cheerful, kind, and caring. Staff formed a good relationship with us and kept us fully informed of Mum's care and needs. We felt that all her needs were met and the care home was able to arrange visits from the GP, podiatrist, dentist, and optician.
The quality of the environment was excellent, including the furnishings, activities on offer, and the gardens. The care home was able to give Mum some comfort and peace in her last few weeks and she received excellent care.
