When visiting Woodly Grange there is always good security for entry and exit. I find the staff both friendly and helpful, with management always available for contact if necessary, there are plenty of different and creative activities for the residents, although my sister rarely chooses to make use of them. The accommodation is clean and bright, which makes a welcoming atmosphere. The home is one i would recommend to others.

Would definitely recommend Woodley. Staff are caring and know residents well. Manager always quickly acts on requests or queries. For example: My mum has moved rooms this month to become more independent. She can now access dining room and lovely garden on her own, but carers are always on hand if needed. This has been facilitated by manager and staff. Hospital appointments and medication organised well. Excellent communication between Manager, finance officer, CTMs and us. Activity manager organises varied and interactive activities and events. This month alongside daily activities( which are geared for dementia) my mum had been taken to Romsey on a history tour, strolls in local neighbourhood and been visited by Romsey Bikers! Staff are proactive at including everyone. We are always welcomed warmly and invited to many events over the month.

My mum has been in Woodley Grange now for 4 years. She has been so settled and happy. Whilst her dementia has obviously worsened over the time, her happiness and care has been unwavering. Woodley Grange is always exceptionally clean with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are caring, approachable and make all residents feel included and happy. The entertainment program is varied and makes sure that all residents are engaged.

Although I dont get to see my nana as often as I'd like, I always go unannounced. Everytime I'm impressed by how clean & welcoming the care home is. The staff are consistently friendly, caring, and attentive its clear they work hard to ensure residents are happy and well looked after.

Its so reassuring to know my nana is in such good hands.

Mum has had a wonderful experience at Woodley Grange. She very much enjoys her time with the staff and the activities. She very much enjoys being taken out for a stroll in a wheelchair. The staff are wonderful and so reassuring. We would not hesitate to recommend Woodley Grange as a care home.

It has been the same for more than 2 years. As an Occupational Therapist, I have worked in many care settings over many years. I can see my mother is in the best home possible, her hair is always done, nails painted, dressed smartly, while her dietary needs and choking assessment needs are met. My mother has had lots of falls, and every effort has been made to reduce the risk while encouraging her to remain as mobile as possible. The home fulfils all the allocated activities in the weekly timetable, with many options available. I'm always made to feel welcome at any time of the day. I'm always informed of changes concerning my mother or the home, either by phone or email. I'm regularly invited to meetings and encouraged to discuss things that have gone well or not so well. I would happily and confidently recommend the home to family and friends, highlighting the warm and friendly atmosphere. It is a care home, but most of all, it's a home that cares.

My mum has been a resident at Woodley Grange for four months now. So glad we chose this home over other more expensive options. They really do live up to their motto, "loving care matters". A fun, well-organised and structured group of staff. Always engaging with residents. Plenty of activities. Staff have been able to accommodate all the nuances of care we gave mum when she was living with us. A big thank you to the team.

Dad has been in care for 6 months now and sees Woodley Grange as his home. He frequently says 'I'm alright here' which is very reassuring. Staff work fantastically together. As well as confidently managing the challenges of dad's physical and cognitive decline, I have seen staff treat all residents as human beings with dignity and respect. I feel they have got to know dad really well, he has made some good friends and I am always welcomed as a visitor. Thank you Woodley Grange for making a difficult stage of our lives as a family the best it can be.

Woodley Grange has a very caring, positive feel due to the attitude of managment and staff towards all residents, visitors and colleagues. Residents are treated with respect and as individuals, being well cared for and stimulated. Communication is encouraged with other residents as well as staff with smiles and body language. Mum has been at the care home for six months now and during that time the care has been excellent. I am advised promptly of any problems which are dealt with speedily and professionally. When my husband died they went to great lengths to ensure mum was looked after and able to cope with the information. Her room is always clean and tidy. Fun activities!

The staff at Woodley Grange are professional, kind, and very experienced. They not only took excellent care of mum but also held our hands as her dementia progressed. After 2.5 years at Woodley Grange, Mum has just moved to a nursing home due to increasing care needs, but again the Woodley Grange team supported us through this. A huge thank you to them all.

When we decided that my mom needed constant care, we contacted Woodley Grange as my mum liked the idea of living in the Romsey area, the support and care shown to my mum was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, they have gone above and beyond with their care and empathy to us, understanding that this was quite emotional for all of us. The entertainment partners really do make a fantastic effort with all their trips and ideas, it really does make it a home-from-home. Thank you Woodley.

From the initial tour of Woodley Grange and positive information that reassured us that my mum would be in the best place for a respite stay. Mum was supported extremely well for settling in and supported in every way possible. Her daily visitors were made welcome. She enjoyed the meals and the room has provided her with a pleasant sanctuary. Thank you to all the carers for all your kindness and all the managers for their reassuring support.
