My mother joined the home in August. She came from another care home. The move was necessary due to serious issues. Since mum's arrival, she has been made to feel welcomed by all staff and especially by the manager. She is very happy indeed. There are other ladies she can chat to. Very happy environment and relaxed.

My mother had excellent 'end of life' care at Woodley Grange. Her welfare was of the greatest importance in every way from all the staff, we couldn't have asked for better.

The family were always welcome to visit day or night and given much needed support at a very sad time. My mother was a resident for two and a half years and always said she was very happy there.

I would like to start with the two and a half years that my mother has lived at Woodley Grange. My mother so loved her life at Woodley and was very, very happy there, she thought of it as a home. My sister and I have always been delighted with the care our mother received and any health problems were dealt with quickly and my sister and I were always kept informed. They, as a team at Woodley, are very professional and delightful.

My mum had a wonderful time here, three times a week. The staff were so lovely and caring. She also had a week in April for respite. Home to home, highly recommend.

My sister was in hospital and I was told that she could no longer live alone. I came to Woodley Grange and I liked the outside straight away. It was modern. I was shown around and met the staff.

The building was clean and tidy and the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Her room was large and all the facilities were excellent. The only reason she is moving is that she now has to go to a nursing home.

Over the last 25 years I have visited 2/300 care homes in my capacity as a supplier of cleaning/hygiene products, so I feel very qualified to comment.

Woodley Grange is, by a distance, superior to all of them; décor, staff, food, rooms, activities and cleanliness are faultless. We feel very lucky indeed to have secured a place for my father at such a home.

Overall Experience
My parents moved to Woodley Grange in July 2017 primarily because of my father’s stroke and Parkinson’s, but also because of my mother's recently diagnosed Alzheimer’s. Neither I nor they would or could find any fault the standard of care, attention to detail, quality of food or cleanliness. The staff could not be better and I was very sorry that due to the change in care requirements we had to leave. The nursing home they are moving to has a lot to live up to!

I would recommend Woodley Grange to anyone!

I have found the staff extremely helpful and very professional at all times. They have been so kind to Mum and looked after her needs. She seems to have settled very well in this lovely environment.

Throughout the process of receiving residential care at Woodley we have been taken into consideration and had everything explained, every step of the way.

We could not wish for better care for Mum.

My dad has been at this care home for nearly 4 years. I cannot praise the staff enough, from management to cleaners, everyone has been fantastic. My dad has been very well cared for and everyone knew him and his needs were met in every way. The home is also spotlessly clean and well kept.

Our experience was totally positive from the very start. My mum was apprehensive to start with but soon settled in and gave us peace of mind that mum was well cared for at all times. From going to not keen on going to want to stay longer than the week's respite. Would totally recommend.

Excellent care home with excellent facilities and staff who take great care of the residents. On first viewing the care home, the manager made us feel very welcome and that made it easier to choose the home in which to place mum. The manager is always approachable. The staff are always happy. The residents have a good choice of freshly cooked food. They have a varied selection of activities. We would recommend the home.

Mum has been in Woodley Grange for six months and seems to have settled in very well. The staff are always cheerful and helpful to residents and relatives and the place has an open, clean feel with plenty of natural light in the rooms. The activities are diverse and engage the resident in a variety of tasks and pastimes. There always seems to be something to try or a visiting group to entertain the residents.
