My mother-in-law has been a resident of Woodley Grange since August. The staff are all excellent, and the care given is exemplary. There is a wide range of activities available, and this means that she is kept busy and stimulated all the time. The home is just excellent, and we cannot thank everyone enough for all that they do.

My sister lives at Woodley Grange, and since being at this beautiful home, she has not stopped smiling. As a family, we know she is truly happy now. Every visit is filled with laughter, and she always tells me how great the team is. The home is always very clean and welcoming, and the staff are very helpful, and the other residents look happy. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

My mother is a resident at Woodley Grange. She has a very rare form of dementia that presents differently to most other types, which has made getting Mum the support she needed very difficult since even healthcare workers aren't familiar with it. Now she is safely installed in Woodley Grange and I couldn't be happier. She is in a wonderful, warm, caring environment, with people who really understand her as a person, her condition, and her needs. The staff, and particularly the manager, go far above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to taking care of Mum. Literally, nothing is too much trouble. The communication from the home is exceptional, they keep me updated with any areas of concern or new developments. It's humbling to realise how many real-life heroes are out there, just doing amazing things every day, making older people's lives more fulfilling, happier and safer. I genuinely cannot recommend Woodley Grange highly enough.

Friendly care staff with great sense of empathy, great location as it is quiet with luxurious equipment. Woodley Grange care home is a family run business which makes it more personal. As they are very particular about the care of the residents. The manager is a team player and friendly to all guests.

Exemplary care was given to my dad throughout his stay at Woodley Grange. Even with the challenge of the pandemic, the staff and management went over and above to keep me involved and provide access when family members could not visit. The empathy, care and tenderness shown to Dad and to us as a family, will never be forgotten. Thank you.

Woodley Grange go the extra mile to ensure the comfort of their residents.
There are many activities to keep the residents entertained. Their care and support are second to none.
It’s clear the residents are very happy to be here, it’s friendly, very clean and this could not happen without the dedication of the superb staff.

We would not hesitate to recommend Woodley Grange to any of our friends or relatives who are considering residential care.

We spent a lot of time finding the best care for my mother who was suffering from dementia. Woodley Grange immediately had the feel of a well run caring environment where she would be happy. At no time have we regretted the choice. The staff have remained cheerful and caring in the face of considerable adversity. I could not recommend this place more highly.

My father settled into Woodley Grange two years ago and sadly passed away, recently. From beginning to end he was cared for with professionalism, dignity and compassion. The range of activities is outstanding, the food is varied and high quality and the standard of cleanliness and maintenance is high. Understandably, COVID restrictions had a big impact but every member of the team rose to the challenge. As a family, we were consulted, guided and supported at all times. I can highly recommend Woodley Grange.

Review from Trevor T (Son of Resident) published on 18 March 2021 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Having visited a number of care homes for our mother, my sister and I were becoming somewhat disillusioned with what we had found. However, this soon changed when we arrived, unannounced, at Woodley Grange. Met by the manager, we were made to feel welcome in a lovely home. Bright, clean with friendly attentive staff, it just felt like a place where Mum would be happy and well cared for. Fortunately, a lovely room soon became available and a return visit with Mum confirmed our earlier impressions. Mum has been at the home for some time now but in all this time, she has never failed to be treated with love, kindness and dignity by all the wonderful staff, even as her needs have increased. Obviously, times have been difficult as a result of Covid but the staff have gone above and beyond, ensuring all residents remain as safe as possible. Thanks to them all.

Would we recommend Woodley Grange? We already have on a number of occasions.
