My mother recently passed away at 96 & had been at Brabourne for 18 months, for dementia care. I cannot fault any of the care she received while there, all the staff are always kind, friendly, helpful & supportive. The food always looks lovely & fresh. And everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. Any questions or concerns were always quickly addressed & we were always kept updated.

The food is lovely, the afternoon tea is wonderful and I think the events that the home hold, incorporating the family, are well done.

All staff both clinical, admin & support are friendly helpful & do a good job. The care has been exemplary & I have no complaints. I have been a registered nurse for 42 years & have seen care of the elderly in many settings over the years. Folkestone Care Centre is how it should be done. My father is EoL & despite it being very distressing to see him deteriorate & I'm grateful that he is very comfortable & being well looked after. I have got to know the staff very well I visit every day & they have been very kind to me in what is an upsetting time. Thank you.

Our experience of your care home is excellent. There are plenty of things my mother could be involved in, however she chooses not to join in. We celebrated her 100th birthday last Saturday. The care home were so helpful, even making her a birthday cake.

As a family we are really happy with the care that my Nan is recieving. After a bad experience at another nursing home we are thrilled to have found Brabourne for Nan. The home is beautiful and staff are more than accomodating. As a family they involve us in Nans care and give us regular updates. The detailed care plan looked into every aspect of my nans care. Thankyou so much.

My mother was only meant to go in for restbite for 3 weeks while I had a holiday, she had been having TIA's which she happened to have the night before I left, making it very hard to go or not. Our mother was well looked after resting in bed, then getting into a chair then a wheelchair and leaving her room, finally getting her strength back to use her walker and walking stick a little, the staff through there care, regular meals, creating games in the dayroom, singers coming in having her hair cut, and making some new friends. Mum became well enough to return home. We cannot fault any staff from cleaners, Catering, Nursing, Entertainment through to a welcome on reception.

The food was varied, but was a little too carbohydrate.

I moved into Brabourne Care Centre on the 2nd February 2026. From the moment I moved in, I became alive again. I have such a lovely room, I have my own toilet and sink and can shut the door. The wardrobe and cupboards are lovely, and new curtains. It is just like a hotel. I cannot fault the carers or staff, they are all just wonderful. The food is fabulous, there is such a lot that I can't have, but they have all sorted out my needs, which is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone here. We have either activities or well-being twice a day, everyone joins in, I can't fault the staff, cares or the home, it's all just magnificent.

My sister moved into Brabourne Care Centre last month following a stroke. We are impressed by the way in which her complex nursing care needs have been addressed by the staff and the kindly and compassionate way she is treated. We have confidence that she is being cared for by well qualified carers who respect her dignity and ensure she is comfortable. All staff are friendly and welcoming and we are grateful for the support they are giving to our family as we cope with difficult situations and decisions.

Many elderly ladies with dementia would have found it difficult to settle into the care home without the dedicated care staff and activity team who did their best to welcome her and motivate her to the point she is now very settled.

My husband is very well cared for. All the staff are kind and considerate. The housekeeping staff are excellent. His room and bathroom are always spotless. I visit every day and have had no reason to complain. The food is tasty, the entertainment is great. I was impressed by the caring night staff when I stayed one night to be near my husband when he was seriously ill.

Both my grandmothers have stayed here. One sadly passed away a few years ago and the other is in residence now. I can honestly say that every time I have been in to the building the staff are impeccable. The building is immaculate and I cannot at all complain in any way about how both my grandmothers time at the care has been. I would 100% recommend the care home to anyone. Without sounding morbid I am aware that this will be the last place my grandmother will live before she passes but I don't think there would be a better place to see out her final years. The same could be said for my grandmother who passed. Her time at the care home was the best place for her and I cannot thank the staff enough

I have found all the staff to be friendly and attentive to the needs of the residents.

My father was a resident in this care home. He was on the dementia unit of the care home. The staff here were extremely good at looking after my father and dealing with specific needs that arose from his diagnosis. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and I was kept up to date regularly on how my father was doing. All of the staff had a lot of time for the residents there, which was really good to see as a previous home did not seem to be as attentive towards their residents. My father spent around two years in this care home and I believe that he received the best possible care that he could have for his duration. I can only thank the staff for all of their hard work and dedication.

Today was Christmas Dinner with mum and was superb. Mum is not the greatest lover of food but ate well. My husband and I had a super meal with all the extras to make it perfect. Care home is exemplary. Carers, nursing staff and hostess team are all caring, cheerful and always encouraging. Patience and gentleness is seen everywhere. Brabourne Care Centre is spotlessly clean and the friendly support staff seem to take a pride in their work and rightly so. Great place!
