My brother has been here for many years now. I like how the staff interact with other residents and my brother. Always caring considerate and thoughtful. I like how they play games get entertainment in like vocalist and other musicians. Also bring animals in from outside for clients to interact with.

The staff are always approachable and work hard to accommodate the needs of residents. They are always polite and respectful to both service users and their families . I am kept informed of events . Phone calls made are always returned.

I can't always get in, but keep in contact via the social media messaging group. There is always something happening for the residents, from Bingo + movie night to music therapy + exercise. In my eyes, a great job done by all!

The staff are all very good, especially the Deputy Manager and Manager. They have lots of social activities, for residents to partake in. I cannot fault the service. The communication/updates between management and next of kin is very good.

The manger and deputy were very professional when visiting our home to do the assessment for my husband. I had no questions at the end, due to them covering so much. When I was visiting it was a nice welcoming atmosphere in the home.

My mother always wanted to stay in her own home, but at 96 it was no longer safe for her to do so. When we found Glenmuir House, it was such a relief to know, from the first day, that she would be happy and well taken care of. She was able to be as independent as was safe and always treated with respect and even love! I could never have found anywhere that could compare. She spent nearly 4 years at Glenmuir House: she loved her surroundings, she loved her food and she, and all the family, loved the staff.

Mum was very well looked after during her 4 year stay. The staff were very respectful of her wishes when she first arrived, which was what she needed. Later she responded to encouragement to join other residents for meals and activities. As her condition worsened the staff were very kind and the manager did everything possible to make sure she got the best treatment and equipment to help her. We were always made very welcome when visiting and provided with a coffee after our long journey. We feel she was a lucky lady to end her days at Glenmuir House!

Our family has been incredibly impressed with the exceptional care provided at this home. From the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the warmth, respect and genuine compassion. The staff consistently go above and beyond their duties, nothing feels like too much trouble. They take the time to truly know each resident, listen and make every day meaningful. The home is always spotless, fresh and welcoming with delicious, well presented food that caters to the individual tastes and dietary needs. There is also a wonderful variety of activities that keep residents engaged and socially connected. Your never just a visitor, you're part of a supportive community knowing our loved one is safe, happy and valued gives peace of mind that you can't put a price on.

My father, who was previously independent, had a fall and is now unable to walk. So, with a heavy heart, it was agreed between us that he needed residential care. Abbey House has made the transition easy and have treated him with kindness and respect. Every time I raise a health concern, the management have already actioned a solution which is a huge relief! Location great as Dad can't be wheeled far and everything is on their doorstep for when we take him out. We can phone and visit any time. All staff are friendly and accommodating.

My mum has been at Abby House for over 6 months now and I couldn't be happier with the care provided. The staff, especially the manager and deputy manager, go above and beyond. The communication is excellent and I never worry about my mum's care as I know she is in safe hands. Mum's settled in very well, takes part in all the activities and really loves it there.

Greeted with lovely welcome to the home, Mum was shown around with us. Also given telephone number if we need to check or ask anything. Messaging group to see photos of activities doing. One of the staff has been fantastic in helping me with anxiety, with a personal touch and contact. All staff have been supportive to mum and care with being away from her home, also, son who was very ill.

My mum stayed here for two weeks respite. The only reason I rated Satisfactory for cleanliness is because some parts of home the paint work could do with a lick of paint & freshening up. The staff were all lovely & Deputy most helpful. Received photos of mum partaking in activities and she looked happy & relaxed. Food looked & smelt good. Would happily send mum here again.

My dad has improved so much in the short time he's been at Glenmuir House. I couldn't have asked for better for my dad. Thank you so much to the staff for making him and our family feel so welcome.

The staff here are amazing, really kind and helpful. They have made my parents feel very welcome and will do anything they can to help. They are very thorough and organised taking a lot of worry away from me. Communication is excellent. They are always polite and happy to help.
