The home, is a beautiful period property which is peaceful, warm and welcoming and in a beautiful rural setting. It is very homely with small sitting room type areas giving a cosy feel. The food is lovely and is home cooked and of high quality. The bedrooms are also homely with beautiful views and
flooded with natural light.
Last but not least, the staff, they are kind, compassionate and caring, going above and beyond. Nicola ( home manager) is approachable , hands on and very "present" with the residents, getting involved in all tasks with her team. Michelle is the entertainment coordinator, organising lots of engaging activities and events accross all seasonal events.
As a family we experienced a very different situation, in another care home where mum was a resident, Farfillimore is a smaller more personal care home, which we prefer and suits our mums needs better due to it being more homely and less clinical,
I would highly recommend

Friendly cozy care home with friendly staff mum bin there 3-4 years she very happy and Michelle the activities co ordinator keeps the residents occupied and happy and the carers office staff always there if needed

My wife has been a resident for just over a year. After an initial difficult start, she settled in and is more content now. She takes part in the various activities and enjoys the visits of Max the dog and the small horse. I am kept fully informed about any decisions regarding her health (eg visit of
physiotherapist, doctor, etc.). The care home itself is well laid out and convenient for meals, activities and visits. Overall, it is going well.

Cannot compliment the Manager and staff enough at Far Fillimore for their compassion, empathy, understanding and unwavering care for my Mum. The Home is very well run and I am always informed about my Mums care, something I have not had before at another Care Home. I have full confidence that my Mum
is well cared for, safe and happy at Far Fillimore. Credit to Nicola and Emma and their wonderful team of Care Staff who work tirelessly to create a welcoming and happy Home.
Would not hesitate to recommend Far Filimore.

Step inside Far Fillimore Care Home and immediately you are greeted with smiles, warmth and an atmosphere of caring.
Having had some distress at having to place a friend into a residential home, local opinion and reputation said 'try Far Fillimore' first and thank goodness there was a space available.
The
welcome, friendship, kindness and care and relaxed atmosphere were perfect for my friend. Like coming home. All this is only achieved by those within and sheer hard work. A credit to all.

A pleasant, quiet home in lovely surroundings. Plenty of space for sitting and chatting with Mum when the weather is fine! I am always kept informed about any aspect of my mother's care, eg medical visits, eating/drinking etc.

Our mother is 98 years old and reasonably fit, but she has dementia. She moved into Far Fillimore in mid July and we are delighted at how quickly she settled in. Before then she would display symptoms of stress when she was unhappy, and it's clear that she is now contented, occupied and well cared for.
She looks interested in life again and is able to move freely and safely with her new walking frame. She loves the social side of this friendly home. the staff are brilliant at dealing with dementia, kindly and patiently. Family are welcome to visit any time and we always find her nicely dressed and her hair in order. This is a very well run home and we are hugely impressed and grateful for their care.

Mum first went in for respite care, she had been living with my husband and me for two years. After a period of time trying to shower her became almost impossible. Her mobility was getting worse, and after a long chat, she said she wanted to go into permanent care, so, Far Fillimore Care Home was chosen
because she got on well with the staff, it was clean and very homely.

From the first meeting and initial viewing to the present day we have no complaints. Facilities and cleanliness is excellent and all the staff members are pleasant and very helpful. All my father's needs are met and there is a very happy feel to the home.

Lovely caring staff, a real home from home and a safe environment. Good communication and go the extra mile to ensure my father gets the best care. The rooms are clean and there is no smell as I have found in other homes. Dad is always happy and although he can't remember what he has had to eat he always
says it was "lovely".

The home provides a very pleasant and safe environment for it's residents in a quiet setting in the countryside. My mother has been a resident in Far Fillimore for several years and has received excellent care. They have continued to give her full attention, ongoing with her decline of health. During covid the home gave every attention to detail, keeping all the residents safe and well. The home is clean and comfy

My mother has been cared for by the Far Fillimore staff for just over two years. They understand the care she needs, and they provide a safe, caring and friendly place for her to live. Her room is clean and tidy, and the house and gardens are kept beautiful. They have regular functions and activities,
including regular music events. Since being in Far Fillimore, her general health has improved, even though she is suffering from the early stages of dementia.
