Nazareth Lodge Ltd runs two care homes with an ethos of thoughtfulness, respect, understanding, sensitivity and togetherness. This permeates both care homes which ensures residents are fully supported in whatever they choose to do.

As making the move into a care home is not always an easy decision, the aim is for residents to consider the homes their home for life. To achieve this, the caring staff goes above and beyond to fully understand each individual resident's needs as well as likes and dislikes to build meaningful relationships.

The group fully believes keeping active benefits wellbeing, which is why its care homes promote and encourage residents to take part in activities and socialise. Further, the group's administration system enables staff to maximise the time they spend with residents to provide truly person-centred care.

Mum is well and truly feeling at home at Nazareth Lodge. The staff are all really helpful and kind and, above all, they all seem really cheerful and always smiling.
The staff are always helpful to me, as a visitor, and I know I can pop in at any time, it really does feel like you are visiting a family
home.
There always seems to be an activity going on, lots of in house visiting activities and trips out on the bus.
We are really happy that mum is so settled and we do not have to worry about her.

My 97 year old mother has been in Nazareth since May 2024. It was a very difficult thing to accept for a very independent, intelligent & strong individual who was very proud of her home with all its 45 years of memory with my Dad. The staff have been amazing. Mum has been very challenging & depressed
at times, but staff have shown kindness, understanding & respect which have gradually helped her to come to terms with losing her independence & home. She is very fond of the staff & has told me she is very happy there - even though she'd obviously still rather not be in care. She's made some close friends there too. I'm always kept informed & consulted about issues. I've grown to completely trust management & the team to act in my mum's best interest. It's a huge relief. It genuinely feels like a home. It's not the most luxurious building, but has a warmth & homely feel to it. The garden is lovely overlooking the church. I really recommend it as a safe and pleasant place.

My mother moved into Nazareth Lodge in February, has settled in extremely well, and is happy. She has made new friends, and reconnected with many people that she knows from living in the town. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and supportive of my mother, who knows what she wants. Nazareth Lodge is
the perfect size, small enough for it to feel like one big family. It is clean, comfortable and welcoming.

My brother, sister-in-law and I visited my father a few days after he moved in. He was clean, well dressed and happy and smiling. His room, although very small, was clean and adequate. We sat with him in the conservatory, and the staff were very nice to us and to him. It was Burns supper/lunch, and
residents had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and a Piper in full Scots dress played the bagpipes. The staff then got the residents together for a photo. We, as relatives, were treated very well and invited to have lunch with our dad. He was also treated very kindly, particularly by the manger who was on duty. All the staff knew my dad's name. He said he has been helped with washing and dressing and was happy.

Mum has been in the home for 18 months. She settled easily and is clearly happy and content. Staff really get to know the residents and this makes such a big difference. There are often activities for the residents to become involved in, certainly enough fo mum. Food is plentiful and I very not had
any complaints.


Although the building might not be ideal in many respects, staff make good, creative use of the space. The home is kept clean and safe.

Our mum has settled in well over the last four months after not being very keen to leave her own home. The staff are very kind and have lots of time for her. They always seem cheerful and interact well. There are so many activities and trips for Mum to join in with which is great. She is making friends
with the other residents and enjoys the garden and conservatory because she likes to sit in the sun. I feel happy that Mum is in a comfortable home and being taken care of well.

Mum has been a resident at the Nazareth family for two and a half years and our true appreciation for the love and the care for her is un-measurable. Without the dedication of every member of the caring Nazareth staff, dear Mum would not be enjoying her life to the full as she is today.

First impression - clean, fresh, not stale smells which often greet you in care homes.
Staff very welcoming and homely. Privacy given for relatives visiting if necessary.
Noticed gardens and activities available for those that are able, facilities also available for those who are less able.
Tea
and biscuits offered to us (visitors).
Only negative, lift needs sorting for wheelchair users, not enough space. I didn't use lift anyway.

My wife came for day care every weekend over the last 6 months. She was always treated with great dignity, kindness and compassion. She always came away bright and cheerful.

Excellent and very caring staff. The staff and carers were extremely efficient and empathetic to the needs of the residents. I was very pleased to see my sister was happy and healthy. When asked if she liked it in the home, she made it very clear that she did. I seriously couldn't fault the home. I
met a lot of the carers and I spoke to a lot of the residents who were happy and content. The choice of food was excellent and snacks were frequent. 10/10.

Our parents were moved into Evergreens Lodge as a month long trial back in February 2023. We, the family, are over the moon that they have settled and are really happy to make it their forever home. Our parents have different medical needs and are no longer able to live a safe life at home. The staff
go above and beyond to make sure their care needs are met. The menu is changed regularly and, being that Father is a foody, it's important that the food in general is outstanding. The manager and her team are accommodating to us, but most of all, they go way beyond to ensure my parents are happy and content in every way. They have full access to a wonderful garden area, which again is something my parents find important. I'd recommend Evergreens Lodge in every way.

Nazareth Lodge - the place is so homely and very up-to-speed with regard to decor and furnishings without that horrid residential home feel. The biggest plus is the staff who are incredibly helpful and friendly but at the same time are professional. My Mum has been a resident for 18 months and a daycare
visitor for 3 years and has always been so happy there.
My Dad spent a short time there and their care for him in his last days was exceptional he was very happy to be there and so well looked after.
I would thoroughly recommend Nazareth Lodge for your loved ones.

My mother has been a resident at Nazareth lodge for several years. Whenever I visit my mother always looks comfortable and loved. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is always a happy atmosphere staff getting on well together, lots of chat with the residents and fun imaginative entertainment.
Nazareth lodge is an exceptional place.
