Care Homes Owned by Nazareth Lodge Ltd in Dorset

My mother has been in the care of the Nazareth Lodge staff since November 2025. My siblings and I have had and are having an extremely positive experience for our mother. All members of staff are always cheerful professional and accommodating. My mother has been cared for beautifully from the day she arrived

My father is currently in Evergreens's Lodge he went in for respite. He likes the staff and the atmosphere where everyone is so friendly.He feels safe and secure. Where he has helped 24 hours a day. We are hoping to make it a permanent arrangement. They have kept me informed of everything to do with my father's health and care. They even arranged for him to go to a hospital appointment. I cannot thank them enough for the care and kindness shown to my father.

My mum came to Evergreens Lodge in August this year, and if I'm being honest, I was very worried about how she would settle and adapt to life in a care home. However, I needn't have worried. Apart from a couple of early wobbles, she settled remarkably well, thanks in no small part to the wonderful staff, who she has grown to love.

Every time I visit, she never fails to amaze me. She is kept busy, engaged and entertained, and she is eating more and moving more than she has done for a very long time. It's so lovely to see the care, kindness and support the team show her, and the positive difference they have made to her wellbeing is clear to see.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone at Evergreens Lodge for making her feel so welcome, cared for and happy.

Mum went into her new home at the end of July, when she arrived she was welcomed at the door like a long lost friend, went off for tea and cake and never looked back she is thriving since she has been at Evergreens, made lovely friends and has so much fun with the staff, loves the activities and outings. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff they are wonderful, treat the residents with dignity, love and respect. There is always a warm welcome, lots of laughs. I always leave smiling I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to go into a care home that really cares for their residents they are one big very happy family.

It is the loss of identity that worries me, a large changing staff, who know little about him.

Mum came to the Evergreens Lodge in December 2024. I cannot speak highly enough of the care given to mum, from management to the care team. In particular the two activity ladies who will always conduct a one to one with mum when she has down days or is emotional. The one criticism would be the laundry and missing items but nothing I can't sort out. However there has just been a change in management and I hope the manager is not hidden away. He is one of your greatest assets!

We are really happy that mum is so settled and we do not have to worry about her.

My 97 year old mother has been in Nazareth since May 2024. It was a very difficult thing to accept for a very independent, intelligent & strong individual who was very proud of her home with all its 45 years of memory with my Dad. The staff have been amazing. Mum has been very challenging & depressed at times, but staff have shown kindness, understanding & respect which have gradually helped her to come to terms with losing her independence & home. She is very fond of the staff & has told me she is very happy there - even though she'd obviously still rather not be in care. She's made some close friends there too. I'm always kept informed & consulted about issues. I've grown to completely trust management & the team to act in my mum's best interest. It's a huge relief. It genuinely feels like a home. It's not the most luxurious building, but has a warmth & homely feel to it. The garden is lovely overlooking the church. I really recommend it as a safe and pleasant place.

My mother moved into Nazareth Lodge in February, has settled in extremely well, and is happy. She has made new friends, and reconnected with many people that she knows from living in the town. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and supportive of my mother, who knows what she wants. Nazareth Lodge is the perfect size, small enough for it to feel like one big family. It is clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Very nice helpful staff , home lovely and clean, 5 stars for the food, plenty of it, always welcomed with a nice cup of tea or coffee, over the last month or so, I've noticed a massive improvement. The staff are VERY patient and very caring. I rate the care home 5 stars.Thankyou all the staff who make a good job looking after my brother. Glen.

The staff (at the Evergreens Lodge Sherborne) from manager down have been exemplary. My dad was treated with respect, compassion and dignity in what a traumatic situation.

My brother, sister-in-law and I visited my father a few days after he moved in. He was clean, well dressed and happy and smiling. His room, although very small, was clean and adequate. We sat with him in the conservatory, and the staff were very nice to us and to him. It was Burns supper/lunch, and residents had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and a Piper in full Scots dress played the bagpipes. The staff then got the residents together for a photo. We, as relatives, were treated very well and invited to have lunch with our dad. He was also treated very kindly, particularly by the manger who was on duty. All the staff knew my dad's name. He said he has been helped with washing and dressing and was happy.

The staff were very helpful and polite which is lovely to see our uncle seems very happy here which is great to see. Compliments to the check for the lovely lunch which was provided.

Mum has been in the home for 18 months. She settled easily and is clearly happy and content. Staff really get to know the residents and this makes such a big difference. There are often activities for the residents to become involved in, certainly enough fo mum. Food is plentiful and I very not had any complaints.

Although the building might not be ideal in many respects, staff make good, creative use of the space. The home is kept clean and safe.

Our mum has settled in well over the last four months after not being very keen to leave her own home. The staff are very kind and have lots of time for her. They always seem cheerful and interact well. There are so many activities and trips for Mum to join in with which is great. She is making friends with the other residents and enjoys the garden and conservatory because she likes to sit in the sun. I feel happy that Mum is in a comfortable home and being taken care of well.

She is respected, involved in daily activities, medicated, fed the most gorgeous food, kept warm and snug, and we are truly blessed and for what you all do at Nazareth, thank you all!

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this home as I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of my late mum's care here. I sincerely thank all concerned.

The staff at Nazareth Lodge have been absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend the care that they gave for my wife as a day care patient.

Only negative, lift needs sorting for wheelchair users, not enough space. I didn't use lift anyway.
