My mum has been a resident for over 5-years in The Swallows, and she really likes the staff and the things laid on for the residents to enjoy. The visiting has just restarted at the home under Covid conditions, and they take great pride in keeping the residents safe.

My mum become a resident of The Swallows Care Home at the end of November 2020.
I cannot fault the care that my mum receives from The Swallows, the staff have so much empathy towards my mum and genuinely care and understand her needs as she has Alzheimer's.
My mum is a tough nut to crack but she is
finally settling and enjoying living at The Swallows. Mum is eating and has put on a little weight, which to us as a family welcome the new look for Mum. Every Tuesday the residents have a pamper day, hair done and nails polished.
The staff put on a lot of activities for the residents to take part in if they want to. My mum seems to like joining in with them all. Her favourite is the pamper session and the music and dancing afternoons.
Mum's bedroom is spotlessly clean, and homely, so is the whole of The Swallows
All bright and welcoming.
The weekly menus look really nice.
I can't thank the staff enough for taking care of and loving my mum like they do.

It was a very difficult decision to entrust my sister’s care to non-family members. We visited a large number of potential care homes and found a huge variety of facilities and staff members.
When we came across The Swallows Care Home we absolutely knew we had found exactly what we were looking for.
The accommodation, activities, facilities and general ambience were first-class but it was the staff members who stood out like a beacon on a very dark day.
My sister has been resident at The Swallows Care Home for 15 months during probably the toughest time in care home history due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The amazing team of staff at every level have strived for the last year to do everything possible and more to protect and care for our loved ones. The activities have been a tremendous boost. In short, The Swallows Care Home is in my opinion much more than we could have hoped for. In the words of the song “simply the best”.

I have always found the carers in this home to be very understanding of my aunt's dementia needs. We are kept informed of her health and wellbeing. They take care of all my aunt's personal needs. The home is clean and bright. All the staff have a good report with my aunt, and she responds well to them.
The admin team are also very responsive.
