Since 1992, Maggie has dedicated her career to working at George Brooker House, focusing on the care and support of vulnerable adults. Early on, she discovered that meeting their needs was not just a job, but her true vocation. This realisation fuelled her passion and commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
With the unwavering support of her line managers, she embarked on a journey of personal and professional development and successfully completed levels 2 to 5 in Health and Social Care. These qualifications equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Additionally, Maggie undertook specialist dementia training, enhancing her ability to support individuals with this condition effectively.
In 2015, her dedication and hard work culminated in her appointment as the Registered Manager. This role has allowed her to lead and inspire a team of workers, ensuring they consistently deliver compassionate and person-centred care.
Although Maggie's journey has been both challenging and rewarding, she is very proud of the positive impact she has made in the lives of those she continues to care for.
Sarah has been a valued member of the George Brooker House team since the age of 17. Over the years, she has progressed through a variety of supervisory roles and has proudly held the position of Deputy Manager for the past seven years.
Sarah recently completed her Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, further strengthening her knowledge and leadership skills within her role. This achievement reflects her commitment to continuous professional development and her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of care.
