Overall Experience
All carers are extremely conscientious, helpful and courteous. They are attentive to the needs of residents and create a welcoming and positive environment.
We greatly appreciate the support they have given to grandma and the communication which they consistently give to the family.
Even small details such as answering the phone immediately every single day go such a long way and show the work ethic of the staff as a collective.

Thank you for everything you do!

The carers are such wonderful, warm and loving people. The team leader, along with all the carers (I would name all of them if I had the space), looks after Grandma and all the residents so well.
We are so grateful as Grandma loves all the carers.
The care home is more like a home and is clean and comfortable. They do their best to treat everyone with respect. They always communicate and give honest feedback regarding Grandma to us as a family, and for that, we are very thankful!

Thank you to the Morven team for continuing to be great.

Just wanted to say I think the staff are doing an amazing job. They treat patients with kindness and dignity.

Two female and one of the male care assistants (I cannot remember his name) were helping to care for our friend. They were so caring and patient.

Thanks so much to every staff member. We can appreciate how difficult the jobs you guys have are so thank you so so much. You’re all amazing.

Morven House Care Home has a new management/ownership and we have so far been very impressed with the ongoing changes that are very evident. The new owners are extremely proactive and want to make the changes that were necessary. Our mother is extremely well looked after and, as a family, we are very happy with the care here.

My friend has been at Morven House Care Home for a month now. We have visited her weekly and have been so impressed with the genuine interest, love and care she has been shown. All the staff are kind amiable and co-operative at all times. We as visitors have been made to feel welcome too and there is a lovely atmosphere here. It's like a wonderful family.

Very easy to book an appointment to see my aunt. COVID protocols were followed and I had confidence that staff were following the guidelines. I found my aunt to be looked after well with regards to appearance and health. One staff member, in particular, has very good knowledge of my aunt's needs and background.

I believe that a yearly review with staff, relatives and the resident invited to the meeting would be helpful. I think that a key worker system would be helpful. A staff member who can be involved in a particular resident's care including clothing requirements, activities etc. Staff are generally very professional and helpful, but they don't always know about a particular resident.

Amazing staff who looked after our Mum who was so poorly and sadly passed away. Kept us informed of any changes, always welcoming, and could see they genuinely care for the people they look after. In a worrying time for the family we were so pleased she got a placement here as such a stunning location too.

My husband has been well cared for although I have sometimes had to point out things such as his fingernails not having been cut/cleaned, dirty jumper etc.
The staff always respond and deal with the matter.

I feel that they genuinely care about my husband and his welfare.

The staff at the home all appear to enjoy their work and are kind, caring and friendly. The activities organised for the residents are good and Mum enjoys the mother and toddlers visiting, also the dog visits.
She has been taken out to a garden centre which she enjoyed.

Mum has dementia but has improved both physically and mentally since being in the home. The only negatives would be the lift and Mum's small bedroom.
