Staff welcoming on my husband's arrival on 22 September 2026. Very caring of residents and anxious to attend to his needs and all matters brought to their attention, family atmosphere which is pleasant.

She thoroughly enjoys the gardening activities, and any time spent outdoors.

Since mum has been here we've been pleased with the care and support she needs. She wasn't eating or drinking at home but here she is eating and drinking very well. She's joined in with activities and the care staff are all extremely polite and helpful whenever we're here

The staff do a wonderful job looking after my dad, who has Alzheimer's. He loves the food and is safe and as happy as he can be. Staff are kind, patient and respectful and genuinely care about the residents.

I am always very happy with mum's care. I find the staff always very polite and cheerful. Excellent care given.

Utterly outstanding. Nothing seems too much trouble. Staff are beyond kind, both carers, nurses and the manager. Even the chefs and the maintenance staff. A truly wonderful home.

From the moment we arrived to look around Homelands, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The manager came the next day to visit my mum, and she was admitted the following day. The care and genuine kindness shown towards my mum has been exceptional. The staff remember and acts on anything needed or asked for. They are quick to answer the call button and so respectful of my mum's dignity. I shall always be so grateful to all the staff for going over and above anything I have ever witnessed in a nursing home.

I bring my friend to visit her husband. The care home seems to be caring, clean and friendly. We are treated with dignity, and the resident says he is well cared for.

My dad Tony Hirst stayed with you from March 2025 to October 2025. He was very happy living with you. He had alzheimers and dementia. All the carers I met were absolutely lovely, always sp kind to my dad even when he could be very challenging. Food always smelt nice and dad enjoyed it. Dad always looked clean and well presented when we visited. Care home was clean and tidy. Catherine the manager was extremely nice and always kept us upto date with dad welfare. Dad only left as he had to return to hosp and then needed a nursing home so could no longer stay at Acorn. I would highly recommend

Food was good and choices made by residents when able. We attended many parites with entertainmnet which was very popular with residnets and their families.

We are very happy with Homelands and their staff, management are excellent.

The manager & management team were always approachable and totally professional. The entire care team were kind, caring and skilled in managing my aunt's difficult moments.

It truly felt like home away from home for my aunt from the very start. She felt welcomed and safe.

Her individual needs, promoting independence while providing necessary support was paramount.
